I just watched the video with Baez - his reaction to Caylee being found! 

He actually said - Somehow "they" thought it would be more appropriate for a Chaplin to give Casey the news taher than hearing it from me. (summarized)

Uhmm YEAH!!  If she so innocent, then I think a Chaplin would be very appropriate!!  Not to mention, it is protcol!

I am so glad he is her attorney, I really am.  I can't wait until he falls flat on his face!!

So I've been thinking about motive...and sorry if this has been said before...but I still think it was an accident.


I think the night Cindy and Casey fought, when CA choked Casey, Caylee watched. And at some point after the fight,  in the bedroom together, Caylee acted out, mocked Casey (as children innocently do), and Casey choked Caylee. Too long. Either her frustrations got the better of her, or she didn't realize she was holding on too long. I think somewhere in the pathology of it all is the fact that her mom reated to her this way in anger and so she would do it too. Because regardless if Casey is an adult or what she had done, this was abuse, and a way to make abuse seem less traumatic is to commit the same act. Maybe in a part of her mind she was jealous, she woudl choke Cindy's prode and joy...see how Caylee liked it...and in comes the spiteful bitch comment. But I don't think her game plan was to kill Caylee.

Very possible.   Abuse does sometimes, though not always, get passed on and repeated.   

If Casey had from the beginning of her first police interview admitted it was accident and come clean, they would probably have believed her, but at this point no one believes a word she says.

There's plenty of room for more theories, and it sure could have happened this way.  Casey does seem like a spiteful bitch, that was one of the few things she's said that just might be the truth.  Your theory is similiar to one of mine.  I can see Caylee crying/screaming for Cindy and Casey totally snapping and taking her rage at Cindy out on Caylee.  (hope that made sense).  You're right on about how some victims of abuse can turn and commit the same abuse done to them, to someone else.  Often they don't dare strike out against their abuser, yet may not hesitate with someone more vulnerable than themself.  Poor Caylee.

MYTIME i have reason to believe baez is going to make a big mockery of himself. Casey is going to find a way to make him winning this case IMPOSSIBLE. Today the way he was talking on Geraldo, he looked scared to me. Even Geraldo, his own friend was throwing punches at him. Actually he was sitting there listening to people say without hesitation that casey placed caylee in her trunk. AND HE DIDNT SAY A WORD..makes me wonder. what there defense is going to be, i hope they try to take a little fault, and get dunked in

That book is one for a really young child, I think they call them board books.  The pages are like plastic so they don't tear up easily.  I have some of that kind saved from when my boys were young. so I can see how it would have survived being in the water and I'm guessing that's what it was.

Buds Girl, that was awesome info.  I had wondered how the books pages were turned, yet not torn. That must be the book then, and it must have been Caseys..i know echo. But i had to clarify that casey did indeed know caylee took the book to grandpas because she was the one that downloaded the pictures onto the computer.

yes, they can chew on those book pages and everything, just about indestructible.   I'm not clear what you mean ... do you mean Casey put pictures of that book onto her myspace after Caylee was gone ... ?
