Thinking out loud.. why would cindy be identifying anybody as Caylee's father, when she just said nobody would ever find out who it was?

Fear in her voice is not really evidence. We have all wondered about why the ANT family waited so long to look for Caylee or just go and get her from wherever.
I am just putting forth an idea. I really think it is a plausible defense.
Everything that came out of that house will have Cindy, George and Lee all over it.
Trials of this magnitude have very little to do with the truth. Look at the OJ trial. There was a lot of evidence that the defense fought to keep  out . The evidence that was in was attacked. The prosection was afraid of his celebrity.

And, why would it matter who the father is unless he is someone in the public eye or somebody that would stir up another frenzy?  Cindy is weird.

Saying cindy is weird is putting it mildly.

Wyks... Thanks for the info about the collage, can't figure out why one would put this together if this person isn't the father, but with Casey who knows what thought went through her mind.

You're welcome!  And I agree, whoever worked so hard on the collage very likely had the idea that this Eric/Erik is the father.  If Casey did it, it's as you say, who knows.

When Cindy called the police the first time on July 15, it started off as a threat to Casey.
Let's go get Caylee or she would get the police involved. She ( Cindy ) did not fathom that it would get as far as it did.
When Casey was arrested on the 16 th, it might have started to dawn on her that there was more to this. I watched and read the visit tapes and although it was not Cindy who invented the Zanny story she was the one who provided all of the embellishments. The ANTS wanted her out on bail so she could tell them what she couldn't tell them from the jail. Enter Padilla. In hindsight it might have been better if he hadn't inserted himself into this. But he did and the one thing we learned was that she didn't provide the FBI, LE or her family with any information.
If she was afraid that he child might be harmed if she spoke, well the child has been harmed and there is nothing stopping Casey from tellng the entire story now.
The fact that she isn't and didn't is going to be a huge bonus for her prosecution. Doesn't she want the people who did this to her child identified and brought to justice intead of her sitting in jail ? No, she has Baez telling her that he has the world's best experts to attack any evidence and she has a chance of getting off. Instead of hiring defense experts, why doesn't Baez hire some former FBI and get them on the case to find the " real " guilty persons. He seems to have pockets that are deep enough.
It's her silence that is going to convict her.
Exactly,I agree.Nothing stopping her from fully telling her whole kidnapping story now.Caylee is dead and now no harm will come to her family.
:*(

Don't forget KC 's her worst fear is "My mother will never forgive me"
That's right, her Mother will never forgive her.Casey doesn't deserve forgiveness.

Thanks for reminding us of these words, littletxlady.  Just when I have convinced myself that Cindy and George, maybe Lee were in on it or responsible rather than Casey, these words halt me in my musings.  Casey is saying a LOT in those six words... Hope the authorities are paying attention.

I love NG's attention to detail.... Each time there has been some "difficult news" to deliver to Casey she has obtained a list of the goodies that KC has ordered from the Commissary on the evening of those days.....  nothing spoils her appetite it seems. When she was told of the skull being found her Commissary bill came to over  $300 -  so despite having a "panic attack" she managed to work up a hefty appetite...
That information will surely be presented in court as to her REAL state of mind.

does it seem odd to anyone else that the Nancy Grace show seems to be the only ones privy to this Commissary order info?  Does anyone know where it can be downloaded?  I am interested to see if she's purchased the $29.99 black hi-top Chuck Taylor all-star shoes.  Seriously, it's the most expensive thing on the list, and if she's purchased a pair, it seems very vain and very telling.  If I had an eternity to wait in prison, I might purchase a pair of those sneakers, myself, though.

Also, there was that bush that george relocated, and they did admit they looked for Caylee in the backyard (which makes one pause, if they believed for one second the nanny had her, why check the backyard for her?)

HAH!  Good point!!

And that's what they admit to in front of a TV audience. No telling what else they did looking, cleaning, destroying, hiding, etc. in other parts of the house...

Very true Jody!  The possibilities are mind-boggling.

Hi, OW!

I would love to know how she gets this information.  Also, how can you obtain a list of visitors?
Is this public information.  Is there a jail website for this?

I haven't heard any news since yesterday. I have things to do and am waiting for my daughter and the little one to call so we can get going.
I did think about what we know so far and it is Cindy and George asking for immunity that it sticking in my thoughts. Cindy is a nut case and perhaps she went too far with the protecting of Casey and it might come back to hurt her. I really don't think she harmed her litttle one, or even knew the sad end to the baby, but a case in court could be made for her acting in concert with Casey.
I think Baex is slug slime and I wouldn't put anything past him including what I outlined.

When Cindy said nobody would ever find out who the dad is, I think she meant that the family knew and they would never tell.  Otherwise, how can she be so positive that no one would ever find it out?
