I love NG's attention to detail.... Each time there has been some "difficult news" to deliver to Casey she has obtained a list of the goodies that KC has ordered from the Commissary on the evening of those days.....  nothing spoils her appetite it seems. When she was told of the skull being found her Commissary bill came to over  $300 -  so despite having a "panic attack" she managed to work up a hefty appetite...
That information will surely be presented in court as to her REAL state of mind.

You've never calmed yourself down after really bad news with a mountain of simple sugars and carbs?  The "half-gallon of expensive ice cream and one spoon" treatment for a broken heart is practically cliche in television and movies, and most people end up sitting on a couch with $300 worth of simple sugars and carbs at some point in their love lives (and these days their jobs, or lack thereof).

Fact is that the sugar rush is always followed by a sugar crash which is almost as strong a sedative as some of the anti-anxiety drugs.  I'd expect anyone with a panic attack, who is also in prison where they take a dim view of prescribing narcotics to the prisoners, would do the next best thing and load up on sugar to help calm herself down.

This is nothing.  All the defense needs is one nutritionist to testify that loading up on sugars and carbs can help calm you down after really bad news, and everyone on the jury will remember their own "half-gallon of expensive ice cream and one spoon" moments and relate to Casey.

Lee may have cut his ties to Casey if he heard she accused him of molesting her.  And George may feel the same way if he hears that she accused him of the same thing.  I find it so odd that they are not publicly denying those rumors though.  You would think they would make statements saying, "We categorically deny any suggestion of abuse."  I also recall Cindy's soft little answer when the FBI man asked if there had been in physical or sexual abuse in the home.  It was one word: "No."  With every other question she elaborated and went on and on.  But not with that question.

You know it is very interesting that we haven't heard more about these accusations on the media front.  I think that the A's probably want to keep it that way.  By avoiding the subject, they can keep it from being broadcast anymore than it already has been.

I absalutly believe that the Anthony's are gonna need that immunity deal.  But I feel in my heart that its too late for them to ask for it.  I honestly think the LE is gonna follow up on the false information the Anthony's have given and charge them with something..
I also think that Lee is the smartest one of them all, for going into hiding and getting away from the media and  not perjuring himself anymore than he already had, and therefore will prolly be the only one not in trouble with LE...........
I also (as I have said here many times before) do not believe that Lee is the father nor do I believe George is,  I do still stand with my original post that the father is deceased,,,,,,,,,,

Right on HH, O4bull said I was a liar, and she was making fun of my dog too!! But I said you would agree with me and she said Oh Yeah? and I said Yeah! and she said Oh it's ON GIRL! and she bobbed her head side to side in a threatening manner and I was all skeered! So I said wait till Higher Hopes gets here! And she backed off for the moment! So I'm really glad you're in the cage now!! I'm sitting next to you!!!
Boo, did you start drinking already?  WTH?  Watch out sista, I'm going to back my whale tail right on up to that spongy nose of yours and give you something to cry about.

Does this face look worried?

Defending Caylee's mom a challenge, experts say

http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/12/20/caylee.anthony.next/

... snipped for quote

"If you don't have a cause of death, isn't it possible that it might have been an accident?" Kobilinsky said.

Thanks for that article, littletxlady!

The part I snipped above, and bolded....

Surely this will not work in court?????

Of course it could work in court.  Criminal trials require stronger proof for the stronger charges, and if you can't prove cause of death then you can't prove that the crime (sans confession) was premeditated and intentional.  High-grade murder charges usually require premeditation.

If Casey "comes clean" and announces as her defense that "the whole thing was a terrible accident, and because" Casey is "completely insane with depression and suicidal tendencies" Casey "tried to cover it up.....waaaaaahhh" <hides her face in her hands and squirts water into her eyes while no one can see, then looks up>.

She might get off with manslaughter instead of murder, and get out of prison before menopause, so she can start producing new future child "accidental death" victims.

Accidental death??? Funny Casey Anthony defense team is saying that Nanny did it not that the death happened in the presence of Casey and was an accident.

The duct tape, internet searches and presence of chloroform are going to be a hard accident sell.

No one goes so far out of their way to concoct a false story when its an accident.

Casey is the female JVDS.

LOL I did notice the guy in the hot tub.  LOL  Maybe Klaas was testing our eyesight.

BTW, during this hectic coming week, I want to wish a very happy holiday season to all my new pals on SM.  I don't really have anyone in my "real" life who wants to discuss this and other true crime cases.  It is great to have found this forum.

We will know if she indulged in said "treats" when she is in court (if the grey, washed pants DON"T fit, they might acquit).  However, MAYBE she is a shopaholic but not one to actually eat the sncks?  A little retail therapy jailhouse style!

I'm having one of those moments right now (due to a huge pothole, a flat tire on a BRAND new tire, a blizzard, a cranky husband, a tired baby, and Christmas traffic...you do the math). It's like you were talking to me with that post.  Wink

Cheeky, that is a really good observation about the time Cindy asked what Casey wanted her to tell Zanny and Caylee when she appeared before the media.  Casey told her to tell Caylee that she loved her---and I think to be brave---and to tell Zanny "I forgive you."  Cindy never delivered either of those messages via the media.
thanks for posting all that was said.

Again, if there really was anyone else to blame, Casey wouldn't have to make up a fake nanny.  If it was an accident, this whole thing could have been cleared up months ago with a pea bargain.

Red, it has been so long since I read the documents about the hair but...

Now that they have the body, can't they determine that the hair found in the car is a match to Caylee's other hairs?  Also, didn't they MAYBE get a hit for chloroform in that hair?  Since that one hair from the trunk was found earlier and tested right away, maybe that hair still holds a huge BOMBSHELL of info we were previously unable to confirm 1200% without the body? I know the ME stated that toxicology would be difficult at this stage of decomp.  I just keep returning to info we had before and hoping that the links are all there to bring about some more definitive answers...  Thoughts?
