Maybe some of our legal eagles could help me understand this. 

Baez keeps saying that we only know half of the story and it will all come out at the trial.  His list of witnesses is very small and seems to be limited to dna/forensic experts.  Unless he plans on putting Casey on the stand, how will the rest of the story be brought out? 

It is my understanding that in cross examining State witnesses, he can only cross on what has previously been testified too, in other words, cannot bring out any new info/theory.  Can someone clarify this for me?  Thanks

Hey Monkeys, I have been having a bad day today. I lost my grandmother year ago. I don't know if it is Caylee being found or my sadness of not going to my grandmother's funeral that has put me in a funk. I had to go to London for a Led Zepplin concert when my Grandma passed, so that is pretty crappy on my end and I am feeling really gulity today because I didn't go to her funeral. 

I HOPE and PRAY Casey feels 1 million times the guilt because she doesn't go to Caylee's funeral.

I hope this isn't too off topic, but I have been crying all day.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow


There are two days in every week that we should not worry about, two days that should be kept free from fear and apprehension.

One is yesterday, with its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed, forever beyond our control.

All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed. Nor can we erase a single word we've said - yesterday is gone!

The other day we shouldn't worry about is tomorrow, with its impossible adversaries, its burden, its hopeful promise and poor performance. Tomorrow is beyond our control.

Tomorrow's sun will rise either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds - but it will rise. And until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.

This leaves only one day - today. Any person can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that we break down.

It is not the experience of today that drives people mad - it is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday, and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.

Let us, therefore, live one day at a time!

N2WISHN.  Sorry not ignoring you.  Tried to respond on the last thread but couldn't and don't know how to bring the post over.

I like your theory as to why she left the car at Amscot on that day.  

But I still think she meant to go back and get it before it was towed in order to keep with the "story" that the kidnappers stole it.  Maybe to drive it into the water or whatever Cindy said she would have done with it.

Also, earlier today I had posted a link to a site that I had run across that I am convinced is an explanation of the thinking and acting out of this family.  Please read it and let me know your ideas.  I really respect your take on things.  Thanks, Bev

I do agree with you that KC may have wanted to return to pick up the car after taking TL to the airport and getting gas can from Amy. Add to that maybe dumping the car in a lake after gassing up.

I skimmed over the imaginary world article and don't really feel it applies to the Adams family. Notice I said feel. I rely on feelings as much as possible. My belief is that the entire family is afflicted. Pure evil, in that evil is the absence of love as defined in a great book,"The Road Less Traveled". A second book by the same author is "People of The Lie" and that best describes this family in my eyes. There is no truth in them. Do they live in an imaginary world, maybe, an alternate reality, most likely we could never understand their thinking. Call them soulless, antisocial, amoral,,,,,that's them.

It's -29c. here...That is VERY cold and yet warmer than it was last week. It is making me a little cranky. I do not like the cold!!! The A's have a producer? What for? Isn't it extremely inappropriate that he would rear his head now?  I am trying to get my head around this family. They sure don't make it easy! Someone mentioned earlier, that in one of their public statements they should have thanked the searchers and the public for their concern and support. If they are to socially inept to do so, surely their lawyer should have thought of that! These people make me very, very tired. Or is it the weather?

Yeah I do know how much they mean... the monkeys made me feel better when my Dad had a heart attack last week and everyone was giving me hugs and comfort. When you are sitting alone and your heart is in a world of hurt, these guys are the best!! Hugs and kisses to all monkeys!

I believe even one of the defense attys said this on NG on Friday ...

The fact that a baby was murdered will make it next to impossible to get reasonable doubt with a jury. The emotions run to high and adults feel that some one must pay.

A jury is less likely to find reasonable doubt with a child murder than an adult one.

Throw out the forensics and dream team BS ... a 2 year old child was killed.
