Too very humane in my eyes. My Josef is wanting to go outside right now, but it is way too cold. I will go though because it is something a good person will do, let their baby go potty. Casey was so lazy Caylee wasn't even potty trained. Thats what I don't get, she was with the baby every day, but never potty trained her.

I know I will get loads of hate from this post, but girls are supposedly easier to potty train than boys. My point is, if you cannot afford diapers that is a double incentive to get your kids going potty in the big chair, not in their nappys. Sorry if I offended. JSM

Almost in the Anthony's eyes as being potty trained. I don't believe a word they say. George said she was "this close", but LE kept asking about nappys (diapers) being left with the baby sitter or in the car. I'm not sure Sunny, but I do know there were questions with George about potty training. I STILL haven't listened to Cindy with LE, but this has always been a nagging thorn in my side. Maybe Luckycharms can answer it.

Isn't not being toilet trained a sign of sexual abuse? Just asking, don't know where I read/heard that. TIA JSM

I'm no pyshologist, but my son was sexually abused when he was a little over 3yrs old, he started regressing (back into pullups) and drinking a bottle at night on top of nightmares that I would be eaten by alligators, monsters or be in a black hole

Oh I am so sorry I brought up this up. I truly am sorry. It was something I had read back when I was in school. I hope I didn't hurt or offend you. I hope your son is doing well now.

By no means an I offended~I have mentioned it many times since I joined SM. I believe if more people knew the symptoms of sexual abuse, well maybe it wouldn't be so prevalent. I wished someone had warned me and if my posting about the experience can save ONLY one person from that hell on earth it's damn well worth it.

My son is almost 9 now, and we moved far away from where we used to live....the first day here he was a different child, spends the night away, he went on a week long vacation with a friend from where we moved from and he has regained some of his childhood...........he feels safe now, look and see!

luckycharmsprincess..... Thank-you for that, very interesting, when you look at some of Casey's friends, they seem like they would be able to manipulate easily. I would imagine she would not befriend anyone who was not. I keep going back to the Sawgrass Apts, I had never thought or probably did not want to think that Caylee was being used for child pornography, but after listening to Wendy Murphy, I just stood back and went, please don't let it be that. My husband after telling him of the compromising pics of Casey months ago, looked at me and pretty much said, I wonder if Caylee was being abused. I am one who is not sold on the choloraform angle of keeping Caylee quiet, for me that doesn't make a lot of sense since it doesn't knock you out for long. I certainly hope this is not the case, that Caylee had to go through this, but I will not be surprised if it turns out to be. I've mentioned before that I worried about Caylee being abused, because who knows some of the people Casey left her with, but pics or movies of Caylee didn't enter my mind until I heard Wendy Murphy discuss this.

Does anyone remember the post, several months ago on another site, by a female author making these same claims? She stated she was doing research for a book about the case. At that time it was rumored that LE could tell by the stains in the trunk how the body was positioned. Part of her claim was that one of the stains contained sperm.

I remember reading that, yes!  At first 'sperm' was briefly mentioned, then 'bodily fluids', then 'decomp.'  Not sure if they were talking about different stains combined, or just one large stain.  But it was also mentioned that the stain/s covered an area the size of a basketball.  I always wondered what they meant about how they could tell how the body was positioned, don't think they elaborated after having said that.  Also heard that the chloroform covered the entire trunk area, including up the sides of the car.    

To the point about chloroform: Casey lived with her parents, where adequate childcare was readily available. (Say what you will about George and Cindy's cover-up attempts, I do believe they loved and still love Caylee). There would have been no real need to knock Caylee out with chloroform when Caylee's grandparents were willing and able to care for her while Casey partied. Why would Casey take that risk if it were just a matter of childcare?

I love their precision, it always looks like they will slap each other with the trombone, but they never do. Plus I love military music. And my best guy friend is an A&M fan. Does that make sense.

Considering the vast majority of men are not sexually attracted to children ... I believe that the problem with child sex abusers is in the way their brains are wired.  In other words ... there is no cure and ... those who refuse to not to act on their selfish impluses will continue to prey on our precious children.  Society does does not allow a dog to roam free once he has attacked a child ... rehabilitation is not an option.  Why does society afford known sexual predators the freedom to again "choose" to prey on the innocence.

 

There are so many areas in all our lives where we choose not to act on our desires.  Why?  It is morally and/or legally wrong.

My long time neigbour found $3000.00 cash in a pocketbook in a bank parking lot.  There was no ID.  He concedes that he was tempted to pocket that money and ... take his wife on a vacation.

He knew he had two choices ... one was right and ... one was wrong.  He made the right choice and turn the pocketbook with all the cash into the bank where ... the frantic owner arrived two hours later.

We won't be able to connect this piece of the puzzle until we know what Casey really did during the day for two years.

I thought the same thing about Caylee with the great grand dad. She was holding him so tight and then asked if he was tired, which is a strange thing for a little kid to do in a nursing home. Most kids would run around or run away from an old person. She sat in his lap like she was secure. I got creeped out going to see my great aunts in a nursing home and I was in the 8th grade. Maybe little ones it does't bother. I don't know, but if you could fill me in on what you think I would appreciate it.

I would agree with you. Old people can frighten kids, especially if that environment is foreign to them. He looks very non threatening to me and docile. She just seemed very comfortable with him, giving him kisses (too sweet) and hugs. Kids who can feel empathy at a young age really have a head start on other kids as they can feel compassion and concern for others. When I think of how this it manifests in young children, I think of Shirley Temple. At a very young age, she was able to convey compassion and empathy for others, which is what makes her films so endearing. Not only did she have it but she must have understood it to convey it to a camera and audience. I see pieces of this in Caylee and from what Casey's friends thought of her. She was a delight. I try to understand because a child this young is way beyond her emotional development to exhibit these signs. However, at this age, they are mimicking and have a strong desire to be good, rewarded. I'm wondering if she could have been 'trained' to sit on men's (older) lap and give sexual attention. As sad as it seems, it may explain her relative 'comfortableness' during the video. She looks like she loved being filmed on camera. My little one knows the minute I pull it out and if she's doing something cute, she immediately stops. I have to be in stealth mode to get anything on video.

And remember, until someone tells a child it's wrong, they think everyone lives this way. I once had counseled a patient who saw a BDSM site. She started acting out in severe ways. Completely viewing all men in her family as horrible people. She kept thinking that this is how sex and love are portrayed in the bedroom and she could not get passed it. Sad how children can be manipulated and coerced from a young age.
