I wonder if the meter reader went to that area because of the smell. Remember way early on there was a report of a rotten smell in that area and it was dismissed as being a dead animal? 

For the monkey who wanted to to scroll faster - on my home computer (slow dial up) I turn off images in my browser. You get more posts per page and it loads a lot faster.

I personally think at the very least LA erased a bunch of files on her computer, possibly the entire hard drive, causing the "BSOD" (blue screen of death) that was reported.  it will be interesting to see what the Ants have to say once they turn the screws on them. I wonder if Cindy still thinks someone else did it?

If Caylee was in a bag.. double wrapped.. in thick woods.. for 2 months til this guy was in the area.. I have to wonder if it wouldn't have still smelled? Would she have been completely skeletonized by that point, under those conditions?  If not, why didn't he say a word during any of those phone calls in August, about a smell? 

It's just a guess, but I think the smell could very likely have been gone by mid aug. Especially if the bag were submerged or buried. Also, I would think near by swamp would have a little bit of an odor already. I know around here in the fall the dead leaf smell can be very strong. It's not hot here in the fall, but you can still smell those decaying leaves. I did not hear the MR mention anything about an odor.

I lived in Florida for many years, and ventured into the Everglades often. The smell of a rotting animal is a sign to stay away. You don't want to go near a gator nest or have a Florida panther jump you or a rabid racoon bite. Even the vultures are scary and territorial. Giant pet pythons are all over now and eat dogs too. I'm not buying the rattlesnake story though. Rattlers like dry areas and this place was only 2 weeks dried.
Still swamp doesn't smell that bad, it's when it's moved that the gasses are released.
Meterreader suspicion still lingers in my book. He's a perfect character to add to this drama. Seems like someone hand picked him.

So we still don't know who hired the PI but I suspect it's Lee under the advice of Baez. This covers all legalities for Baez but throws Lee under the bus. Good job JB!

Thing is, none of the Ant's really seem to like JB, even in the beginning. Seems like they were trying to get KC to dump him and go with someone else. I have no doubts whatsoever that JB will gladly implicate any other person, family or otherwise in this case over his client. He really doesn't seem to have much of a defense. I looked around yesterday and I couldn't find that KC is Innocent tip line number. Why make a statement like that and not give out a number??? He is embarrassing himself, whining about things, then not following through! Honestly, KC would have done better having a fresh out of college public defender!

It looks like you are using the wrong link in photobucket for your avatar OR that it's too large.  The link in photobucket for your avatar is the DIRECT LINK.  The link for a photo to show up in your signature line is the IMG CODE.

Blurry, right click on any picture, go to Save Image as, name it and save it to your computer. Then in your profile, use the I'll upload my own pic option and choose it off your computer. That should do it.

Does anyone know where I can find either a video or article about the neighbor that lives very close to the area Caylee was found??

He had stated that the area was underwater until about 2 wks prior to finding Caylee.

Hello, everyone.  It is almost 2009, the year of justice for Caylee, we hope.

Concerning the smell, I too found it odd that the meter reader never mentioned a smell.  He just described what he saw.  The man who lived closest to the area said it smelled terrible in late July and early August, I think, so maybe it did not smell by mid-August. 

I think once the bag surfaced or the water receded, animals removed the flesh from the bones and that did away with the smell. 

I also think that LE must have asked the meter reader to take a polygraph and he must have passed.

Why thank you.  I'm waiting for my Valentine Day clothes.  The whole family is so weird.  I had so much compassion for them at the beginning (not Casey) but now I really don't have much.  I really think they are involved after the fact.  I don't believe Cindy had any idea when she called 911 though.  That last call was heartbreaking for me to hear.  She sounded devestated and sincere.
