If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

Sunny, message for you.  Cooking

We could learn a lot from crayons...

some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Sunny... that is exactly why we are donating where we know it will be used in honor and not greed. When we had to plan Heathers funeral we were beyond shock at the cost of a funeral, especially when you have made no plans for something like that. No one should ever have to bury a child, and if they do they need to know that someone is there to help. When you are handed a price sheet for the cost it is overwhelming. I can see parents without any resources settling for simple boxes, or cremation when they don't want that,as there may not be any other choice. I wish we had more money to give so that no parent ever has to feel they did not or were not able to create a beautiful memorial for their child. At least for one parent I know that they will be assured that it is ok to pick the nicer coffin, or better flowers, or a grave marker without worrying, and they will know that this gift comes from two beautiful angels Heather and Caylee. I love what you are doing.....I would never have thought of it....and am so glad you did...as I said what a wonderful tribute to Heather and Caylee
This type of donation, donations to TES...or those Christmas gifts that were left for needy children make so much more sense. These gifts truly honor Caylees memory. I just do not want CA, GA or LA getting anymore money as I do not trust a one of them to do the right thing.
*stepping down of my soap box*

hahahaha....you are not on a soapbox....I agree with everything you said. I know many people feel a need to give this child and others love....and this is their way and I am not knocking it at all. I think we have time and distance in our favor to think of what we can do that will make a difference in a loved one's name.....in Caylee's name. You took her and Heather flowers and my heart burst for you. If I had been in Orlando when Caylee was found I would probably have taken over a token of my love too.

By the way,I love your new avi. Very nice.

Can anyone remember what time Mallory went over to the house?  I didn't think about it when it was happening.  When I watch people's dogs at their home I usually go over early in the morning ... after work ... and before bedtime.  That whole visit just makes me suspicious.  Granted they caught her before she could carry anything out (or at least anything that we could see) ~ but find the timing awfully odd.

Back to my original thoughts. Like attracts like. Mallory is not to be trusted. By this time she is fully aware of the character of this entire family, and she chooses to remain a part of it. Love may be blind, but the Ants have been hogging the limelight for months now so that even love blindness can see them for what they are. And that includes her precious Lee. End of story.

A "burial" - hot, dirty, hard, messy work. Casey might have broken a fingernail, gotten blisters, etc., digging even a shallow grave for her possession, Caylee, so it was much easier to simply discard her like yesterday's trash.

What did Casey need the shovel for??

I really don't have a clue.....I don't think she was going to try to bury her...not in the backyard....JMO

maybe she was gonna/did use it to break into the shed to get duct tape or large trash bags.  I know she ended up breaking into it later but maybe that was the second lock George had to put on it.  Or third lock for that matter.

aaahhhhh good thinking!!

IIRC, Caylee's body was found around 9:30am.  Mallory was at the A's house around an hour later or so -   once the tv cameras were covering the crime scene location, and also at the house.

I am not good at snipping yet, so lets see how this turns out ...
(I didn't think you were knocking it, hope I didnt come across like that)
I think your idea of donating to TES is just as wonderful and a gift that is truly needed.
I wish we could all hug for real !!

I remember thinking at the time that she had to know remains had been found ... GA & CA would have been informed by then.  If she was hurrying over to grab the dogs ... why didn't she leave with them?  In her place, I would have contacted LE, told them I was caring for the dogs, and asked them to go in and get them for me ... but I'm a law abiding citizen ... not an A.

My first thought when she showed up was that CA called her and asked her to go there for some reason that I have not figured out yet. But yes, that visit was suspicious to me as well.

Who knows but Mallory and her mom might be in on some knowledge because why would they put Mallory's mom in charge of the trust? That seemed weird to me. It is not like Lee and Mallory are married or anything like that. How could you trust someone else besides a professional lawyer/acct as trust director?

Listening to jail phone conversations between LA and KC.  Just want to point out cuz many of you are creeped out over LA calling her "darling".That is not what I am hearing.  I am hearing "Darlin"  as in a very common southern thing to say to almost anyone female.  I am a midwesterner transplant to florida and hear darlin 50 times a day.

ITA, BTW ddex, I love sweet baby James!!
