Does anyone remember when the lady took the A's garbage and found a note that KC had written her dad I think about security?  That tells me that they thought the house was bugged then.  I bet they did a lot of writing back and forth.  I wonder how they destroyed stuff that may have been incriminating?
JMO of course ... but I honestly think that's why Mallory went there after the remains were found ... I think they all knew it was Caylee ... because they knew that's where she was ... the only thing that caught them off guard is they were in California when it happened ... Mallory didn't appear to be carrying anything out - but noticed that LE didn't search her at all ... just let her go ... and she had on that HUGE shirt that made her look pregnant ... could have had all sorts of papers/flash drives/CDs etc ...

Grandma2Maddie, sure does sound like they were suspicious of being bugged.  Betcha they wrote notes and shredded whatever possible.

And Newfie, I agree!  Am thinking that Cindy (calling from Cali), or Lee, tipped Mallory off to get over to the house and grab something.  Had to have been something small, as you said, like CDs or something.  Pehaps Mallory was trying to wipe something off the computer, shred papers/notes?, something very likely was keeping her very busy.  It was reported that whoever went in there and got her out was "reprimanding" her.  Would lovvvvvvvvve to know how that lil convo went.  heh.

Seems that LE did not search Mallory.  And why is that?  Seems they didn't ever search Lee's place or even his car.  Why didn't they?  Never heard if LE searched Tony's place or his car either.  Why not?  Casey had just come from there.  Think they could have and it just wasn't reported?  And how about the stuff that Cindy got her hands on (going thru Casey's purse, etc) while LE stood around and let her?  And the computer that 'someone' tried to wipe before LE got ahold of it.  And God only knows what was done with Casey's stuff before Lee even brought it back from Tony's to the A's house.

Do any of you think that between what seems to have been the botched three 911 calls from the meter reader, the above mentioned stuff, and the things that LE *should have* done but appears they didn't........ could the defense at some point after the trial begins, declare a mistrial, for what seems to be a whole LOT of mistakes made by LE???

I sure hope not.

But I don't think there was ever a reason to search Mallory, or LE would have searched her. They did find out from neighbors that she went there every morning at that same time. I just don't see what's so suspicious about doing the same thing you've already been doing for a week.

On NG tonight - so G and C want Casey to be allowed to attend the funeral when it happens. They want their family to "all be together".
Sometimes their actions just leave me speechless...

That is beyond ridiculous.

Casey Anthony update: no family visitors and more from commissary

Orange County jail officials released Casey Anthony's latest commissary order -- a total of $40.48 -- this afternoon.

She ordered various food and hygiene items, including a Speed Stick deodorant ($3.25), three Reese's peanut butter cups ($2.84) and ten chicken instant lunches ($9.00).

This comes a week after she ordered $68.24 worth of items, such as a sketch pad ($1.65) and nine chocolate-chip granola bars ($5.27).

She's allowed one order a week.

Anthony, who is charged with first-degree murder in her daughters' death, has $295.29 remaining in her jail account.

According to her visitors log, she has seen members of her legal team but no family members. Attorneys Jose Baez and Jose Garcia stopped by on Dec. 26.

She saw no visitors on Christmas and she has made no phone calls.

Wow, she must love going on these prison shopping sprees. She probably feels like she's back at Target again! Sheesh, she's got more money me!

I am not buying the excuse that the Anthonys are not calling or visiting Casey and she is not calling them because the conversations are recorded.

They could offer love, support, etc. without exchanging any pertinent into, and you would think that they would want to see each other.

This means that either Baez told all concerned that meetings are now off limits because something incriminating could be blurted out by Casey or one of the parents could lose it and start accusing her, which is quite possible, or that Casey and her parents and Lee are now more distrustful of each other and wondering if one will seek to throw the others under that big ole bus.

Will Casey use the "abuse excuse" and claim that Lee or George or even Cindy mistreated or abused her, thus causing her to be unstable?  Will one of the unjailed Anthonys start to talk about Casey to get immunity for himself or herself?

I see this happening "[Will Casey use the "abuse excuse" and claim that Lee or George or even Cindy mistreated or abused her, thus causing her to be unstable?  Will one of the unjailed Anthonys start to talk about Casey to get immunity for himself or herself?  JUST TO SAVE HER OWN ASS!!!!!!! Cuz she's a spoiled lil bitch, don't care about ANYONE but herself. Killing her baby PROVES THAT. I feel she's gonna TRY to take innocent people down with her. JMO..../quote]

It would be kind of amusing if some inmates gave a new "baby killer" inmate the name of a less than "stellar" lawyer.  I can see it.
I never understood this. She wasn't around other inmates, was she? She made it sound like she was in a dorm full of girls or something and everyone told her to call Baez. I've always been suspicious how she got Baez and her parents supposedly didn't know him or like him. I smell BS, like everything else with this family.

I was watching on FOX cam ... when she entered ... and when LE arrived.  They rang the doorbell/knocked and the FOX reporter noted how long it took her to answer the door.  Certainly more than a few minutes ... and unless she was in the bathroom in the middle of a BM ... longer than it would take to walk through that small home.  I was amazed that LE just scolded her and sent her to her car ... no pat down or anything.  Though maybe they couldn't do that since they didn't have the warrant signed yet?  I dunno?

Baez will certainly bring up all this crap during the trial ... reasonable doubt and all that.  I don't think he can get a mistrial on "mistakes" ... he could only get a mistrial if he can prove LE blatantly did things to evidence or to sway the case in their favor.  I think?!

oooooooooo!!     That surely doesn't look good for Mallory!

For Caylee's sake, and for justice, am sure hoping that LE has done every single thing by the letter.  Just don't want the defense having anything to strike back with when the prosecution backs them into the corner.

Time how long it takes to rinse and refill water dishes for two small dogs, get out their food, put it in their dishes, and put it away. Probably more than a few minutes. Then again she might have been on the crapper. I just don't see how there could have been that much more evidence there to get rid of. I think wiping the computers would take a LOT more time than just 5 or 10 minutes, really. I think she really was just there feeding the dogs like she did every day at 9:30. Just because some people get up earlier than that, doesn't mean 9:30 is a weird time to feed the dogs.

hEY MONKEY. Although KC is in Protective Custody she was still not registered as PC until after she was booked. Before you are booked you basically sit in a room that has a metal detector, a camera to take still pictures, and a series of windows to speak with nurses about your medical conditions. Female inmates (sometimes men, if they jails are linked) get to mingle in this "waiting room" until they are seen by a nurse and sent off into holding cells to change out into their appointed clothes. So KC did have time to speak to inmates that may have helped her find an attorney. Also the jail usually has a huge wall with cutouts of advertisements from the yellow pages, it gives bail bonds numbers, and attorneys. She could have very well gotten his number off of this wall and just Bullsh&ted that fellow inmates told her the name. she is a big bullsh$tter.

You got that right! It just seems he ran "interference" for them. Like she was going to tell GA what happened that day she wrote the note but JB wouldn't let her...we wouldn't have done such and such but JB told us to, we don't really like him very much. What you said makes since, I guess I'm just suspicious of everything they do.

So if it is true that Casey was given a referral for JB from an inmate....well, to me that would be kinda like a woman getting a referral for a gynecologist from a guy!

I re-watched the first bond hearing a few minutes ago and finally found the testimony of Yuri very interesting where he said they got a tip from a hairdresser that said she saw Caylee with bruises all over her arms and legs and a mark under her eye...Yuri said he then found a photo of Caylee that had been posted online showing a mark under her eye which substantiated the hairdresser's claims and that in turn led him to question the A's about the kind of mother casey is, how she would discipline Caylee, how she got bruised, etc.

I believe that precious child had been abused for a long time. The question now is HOW and by WHOM in my mind. I am just hoping it is not what I have suspected for a while. The duct tape brought all those fears back, because that is so common in child pornography.

She's awfully cheerful for a kid who's being smacked around or yelled at a lot.  Children do fall down a lot, and get bruises just as a matter of course....but I've always wondered about the kiddie porn angle. Bruises ALL OVER arms and legs sounds....well, not good.
