I've always thought so. Cindy will throw herself under the bus rather than incriminate Casey, but at the same time, I get the feeling that she never, ever wants to look at her face instead.
Reviewing the bus throwing order.
Casey throws Zanny under the bus.
George throws Casey under the bus.
Lee throws Casey under the bus.
LP throws Baez under the bus.
Meterreader throws himself under the bus.
Cindy throws herself under the bus.

1 dead fantasy character. 1 wounded Casey. 1 wounded amateur lawyer. 1 already wounded by his wife's death meterreader. 1 wacko Cindy.

I meant to say never wants to see Casey again. I don't think she can stand to look at her. But she'll still protect her. Think Lee & George both will throw Casey under. Not sure about Kronk. Cindy definitely wacko.

When this whole mess started, Lee was trying to be helpful. I remember a doc dump where investigators had a bunch of leads from Lee but they were all the same crap that KC was telling them and they were discounting. At the beginning I think Lee believed her and thought these bogus leads were worth something. For believing that POS sister of his, I don't think he will face charges. Maybe Lee wants everyone to believe that's a possibility to excuse his actions for what he is going to say about his sister. Some family members might not take to kindly to him spilling on his sister without a threat against his own well being.

Yep, you know they are going to hate him. But what does he have to lose? They aren't going to support him anyway. It's not like he will be able to go back to his family once this is over. Cindy will hate him forever just like she does George for testifying. Cindy and George will divorce as soon as this is over, mark my words!

Hmmm. Brother against sister? Could Lee come out as the hero in all this?
Damsel, villian, hero... which role do you think he would pick?
Surely the incest would be protected if he cooperated and that would save face for the Ant clan.

I think early on when Casey was in jail that he was approached to help LE and he's cooperated behind the scenes. They knew they had to work quick before fat Baez caught on. Then maybe twisto... Baez caught on and offered him something... Lee played along.

This just keeps getting better.

I don't know about Hero, but I do have some questions regarding his relationship with LE. It seems to me he gave some good sh!t on his sister in the beginning. His interviews have not been released to the public, he is heard imploring KC to talk to LE about what she knows. If this is a sting by LE, they are very, very good at this!  Yes, I can see JB wanting to stop any Ant family member from talking to KC, I think she would have rolled long before this if JB hadn't stopped her.
Sexy LP said that Orange County LE is one of the best in the country!
Since they knew Casey was lying they had to use other means of getting accurate info, the first place they go is to family members and see if they can break them. George crumbled quickly.

Even most defense teams have a certain cooperation with the prosecutor, JB was being a dick and that only makes LE play hardball.

I woke up this am with an ah ha moment.
If we look at Kiomaries statement and strip away all of her nonsense and look at the part where she gives the location of where her and Caasey would go .. the woods by Hidden Oaks ...
Look at the jailhose tapes where Casey is speaking to Lee. In August, before she was bailed out .. they appear to be talking in code. I haven't fished it out but I am on my way to work. it is the one where he asks her where to look .. they have beeen playing it on Nancy lately .. he asks where to look, she says close to home .. he says where you would go with your friend etc ...
SHE TELLS HIM TO LOOK THERE. And that is where the body is found .
In just those two pieces of the massive information we have, she almost draws him a map, in AUGUST ..
To me, this is HUGE.
..
This explains the what and the why the private detective and the photograher were so interested in this particular spot in August. And why it was filmed in November.
It says, Lee knew the kid was dead in August, you don't have your sister telling you to look for the kid in those particular woods and expect that the kid is going to be alive two months later.
So, Lee and the rest of them won't take a lie detector, and all the rest of it, but as soon as the remains are found where Casey told Lee to look in AUGUST , they all lawyer up.
I am going to make an assumption that this is what all the recent frenzy is about, who knew what and when ... they all knew shortly after that conversation because here it is  in her conversation with Lee.
When they pile it on her in court, here it is.
Forget about a discussion about how long the body was there, it was there all along
because it was found where she told Lee to look on a tape that was released to the public. This is why she has no visitors. Baez doesn't want any more of her talking to anyone.
I am going to work, but I feel so strongly on this that I am going to try to get a hold of someone down there in Orlando in the next few days.

KatGram....most excellent observation!

I agree.  Very interesting.

Very good post.  She also tells Lee to look in places close and that are familiar to the family and specifically to ask Cindy about places that she discussed with her.  These reasons and your reasons are the things that make me tend to believe Casey may have dumped her.  I still am not positive it wasn't George though.

Good Morning...Congrats MaryMary on being a grandma.   I'm trying to digest what LP said last night on NG. So what LP was doing in BP was just a distraction, to see what the PI and Hoover was up to? Could this possibly get crazier? The Anthonys funeral plans are more or less on hold, because after the funeral investigators will speak to them again, well if this is the case, the funeral might not go forward for a long time. It is not possible for them to get anymore disgusting.

Baez Wants Questioning Of Private Investigator To Be Supervised

Wednesday, December 31, 2008 8:49:42 AM

ORLANDO -- Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, is concerned investigators may want to question the private investigator he hired back in July.

Dominic Casey was hired to try and find Caylee Anthony after her mother, Casey, was first arrested.

He was terminated in October.

Baez said during his time working the case, the investigator acquired privileged information, and Baez said someone needs to oversee any questioning.

Caylee's remains were found earlier Dec. 11 in the woods near her home.

I want to know WHY he was terminated

I wonder if one of the reasons the A's have not been to see KC is that knowing what she has done, they can't look at her yet. Of course, this is just me thinking like a normal person so there is probably no merit to that. I could not look at my kid or I would have to strangle them or indict them myself with what came out of my mouth...

I've always thought so. Cindy will throw herself under the bus rather than incriminate Casey, but at the same time, I get the feeling that she never, ever wants to look at her face instead.

I think if Cindy is faced with doing jail time and having a record follow her the rest of her days, she will roll. Cindy had come to grips, before this happened, about her dear daughter. She had gone to counciling, she had checked out what it would take to get custody of Caylee, she had told friends that KC was a sociopath, liar and thief. Only when backed into a corner about Caylee actually being murdered did she go into defense mode. I honestly don't think she could have wrapped her mind around it. Cindy did what she has always done best, deny, deny, deny. Everyone commented on her appearance, she was whithering away under the stress and knowledge that deep down, she KNEW Kc killed Caylee.

True. And it was killing her. It still is. And yet she never turned around and said, "I guess Casey did it." She white-knuckled along insisting that there had to be some other explanation. Which is why I don't think even a jail sentence will get her to roll. I think she's feeling guilty, and that she's walked into a number of situations that punished her and will continue to do so because she feels guilty and miserable.

psst... that's why LE tapes stuff.... because criminals will confess to confidants. They picked this up the day it happened. They just had to wait for Fay waters to recede.

I agree with you Cuteascanbe...Lee was also helpful to LP...LP reported that Lee gave him copies of KC's cell phone records.  I just wonder what Lee could have done that was any worse than what Cindy and George have done? I think Lee has spent his life cleaning up behind KC to keep down the fighting within the family.

Also, I propose that as a condition for considering immunity...LE make Cindy and George go sit at the funeral home looking at Caylee's remains until they give this baby a funeral.

There is no way that George would have left her in the woods to be found. He has a LE background of some kind and would surely have disposed of her where she would never have been found. Plus Casey was giving clues to Lee about where she was.

Snipped

IDK but this just seems to me as Luka almost taunting LE to come get his client!!! Hey look over here, Here's Lee and he's going to be charged soon! Hey don't you think LE is going to charge my client??? Wow, Lee has helped LE along I really really hope they don't CHARGE him with anything!!! Here Lee has remained quiet all these months and now his lawyer is practically baiting the public and LE with this! I don't understand this angle!!

I don't either.  I think, not sure legally, that if Luka and Conway were talking and planning that it would be conflict of interest.  They share the same address and suite number.  Wonder if they share same secretary?

Luka stikes me the same way Baez does.  I'm just not sure they are both really that dumb, or if its an act.

Lawyer: Caylee Anthony's grandparents need immunity

ORLANDO - The lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony wants his clients to have immunity before they speak with prosecutors again about their daughter, Casey Anthony.

Immunity would ensure the couple could tell investigators everything they know without fear of prosecution,
attorney Brad Conway said. He doesn't think the Anthonys would say something that would land them in legal trouble, but he wants them protected. The Anthonys did not ask him to request immunity, Conway said. No deal has been made yet, he said.

Casey Anthony, 22, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie.

Investigators are waiting until after Caylee's funeral before they approach the Anthonys again, Conway said.

Funeral arrangements have not been made.

ONCE AGAIN - NOT WORRIED ABOUT CAYLEE - ONLY WORRIED ABOUT THEIR OWN BUTTS!!!

Thanks sassy......right it's about them....WTF...they aren't worried about the truth...they already know the TRUTH!!!  And they know they are in deep doo=doo

Me too, was this a game that was being played, what would be the best time to find Caylee's remains? I am speechless, if this is what was going on.

I gotcha. It's killing Cindy right now. She's dying inside. She can't look at her daughter in the face, Caylee's room is in an evidence box, her life is destroyed.
This will make a good movie of the week.

Does anyone have any theories about the menus that Cindy and Casey talked about during the jailhouse conversations.  I am wondering if Cindy thought at that point that Casey had, or had planned on, giving Caylee away and that is why she thought the menus were for Caylee.  Casey seems to be trying to convince Cindy that they were for her and not Caylee.  It was strange.
