Does anyone have any theories about the menus that Cindy and Casey talked about during the jailhouse conversations.  I am wondering if Cindy thought at that point that Casey had, or had planned on, giving Caylee away and that is why she thought the menus were for Caylee.  Casey seems to be trying to convince Cindy that they were for her and not Caylee.  It was strange.

I'm back Monkeys, did anyone miss me??

What menus are you talking about? When I hear menus, I think restaurant menus, but what would they have to do with giving Caylee away? When was there talk about these menus??
Help a lost monkey out here!!

It was in the July 25th part 2 of 2 conversation between George, Cindy and Casey.

Just goes to show you that KC had too much time on her hands, if she could sit around writing up menus.   What were they for?   Ms. Casey Lazarro and husband (her practicing writting his name)?

Or was it a recipe for cholorform that Cindy found?

But you're right, strange!

Yep, you know they are going to hate him. But what does he have to lose? They aren't going to support him anyway. It's not like he will be able to go back to his family once this is over. Cindy will hate him forever just like she does George for testifying. Cindy and George will divorce as soon as this is over, mark my words!
ITA. And didn't Lee already lose his pregnant girlfriend? He probably wants her back.

Mallory not preggie, the latest pics she doesn't look preggie, and its been a couple of months on that rumor, so she would be showing.  Or are you talking about Tara?

Today where do you get those cool images at the bottom of your posts? They seem to keep changing too!

It's possible Mallory could be pregnant. I know when I was pregnant with my 1st I did not look "that pregnant" till in my 7th month. I remember being disappointed that you couldn't really tell (unless I wore tight fitting clothes, which I didn't). I never really "popped out" till I was about 8 mos! So I'm just saying, maybe she is preggie??

It was in the July 25th part 2 of 2 conversation between George, Cindy and Casey.

It was after they were talking about the trip to PR and then Casey's says - just like the menus you found at the house, that was my list, my stuff.

I am thinking maybe at that point Cindy is leaning towards believing that Casey gave Caylee away to someone in PR or sold her.  I think she was thinking about the fight she and Casey had reportedly had before Casey left.  Was July 25 before the dogs hit on Casey's car trunk?

The really frightening thing about this wack-o family is that if Cindy had not reacted the way she did when she orginally called 911 and if Casey would have just confided in her about what happened to Caylee, I dont think Caylee would have ever been known to be missing let alone found.  Cindy STILL defends her daughter and had Casey told her prior to the 911 calls what happened I really think no one would have ever known little Caylee was missing.

Casey is a spoiled brat and Cindy is the reason why.

I don't think that Cindy should have been allowed to touch the contents of Casey's pocketbook. Taking money was evidence tampering. Who knows what else she took!

Just read the following post from yesterday;  The phone call (highlighted) was not to Shirley.  This is a call from Cindy's cell phone to Casey.  I have yet to find any calls made to Shirley.  Hope this helps with the confusion

Quote from: Destiny on October 10, 2008, 02:11:48 PM
Yesterday on a phone call to me....Blonde pointed out that in Casy's phone logs....she made a call to Shirley on June26th @ 11:36AM  588 seconds long

Then again at 4:37 PM June 26th...0 secs long...and again at 5:55PM June 26th...0 secs long....this would usually be the time that Shirley would be visiting with Alex at the Nursing Rehab center...hmmm...Des

Quote from: IMissThirdGrade on October 10, 2008, 02:16:48 PM
Yes, and didn't the Great Grandmother mention some "funny" calls where she could hear a child in the background????

Oh, this is so unnnerving anymore!

Quote from: Destiny on October 10, 2008, 02:23:16 PM
IMOO....Shirly Plesea would be the last person that Casey would call...considering that Shirly wanted to press theft charges on Casey...and that was probobly what the big fight between Cindy and Casy was over on Father's Day....Des

Quote from: Dolce on October 10, 2008, 02:25:25 PMThen why the long 588 second phone call on the 26th?  If she was so infuriated with her why be on the phone with her for nearly 10 mins?  That does not make any sense to me.

Quote from: Altruist on October 10, 2008, 03:02:00 PM
Am actually hoping that OCSO got their hands on the answering machine tape & were able to retrieve part of that if it was 9+minute recording that Mrs. Plesea reported to them & tie it into KC's call cuz that would be damning, don't you think?  You know that Mrs. Plesea is to blame by that sociopath & harassing her Grandmother wouldn't be beyond her mentality, she has respect for nobody.  Mrs. Plesea said that the child babbling went on & on, no indication of actual time though, you know KC had that stuff on the laptop, she could have easily done that from any location.

I am WAY behind.  According to this document it not only wasn't 558 seconds it wasn't made to Shirley but to Tony:

Do I understand this correctly Klaas?

Blue = Tony

Red = Casey

Green = ???? maybe Cindy ??

If so..doesn't that make KCJ's post correct ???

Isn't that scary.  I think it is plausible that Casey was planning to off Cindy, George and Caylee and then say that the all moved.  But the fight changed her plan and she killed only Caylee.  She had Tony then as a place to live and Caylee was out of her hair and Cindy and George didn't have her.   All problems solved.

Snip
Ok - I am just catching up but I wanted to respond to this. Not all children that are abused get quiet and withdrawn. My step-GD has been abused since the day she was born (she is now in CPS custody AGAIN) but she has always been an outgoing and friendly kid. I think all kids respond differently based on their own personality. But I also agree that kids fall down - my oldest is very light colored and always had bruises. But not from being hit except by the objects he fell over.

Boyzmom, sure, not all abused children are quiet and withdrawn, but the ones who are cheerful and outgoing very often are coping by bullying weaker kids, or the family pet. If Caylee were actually knocked out, though, while people abused her, then she might not remember, and she'd continue to be cheerful and outgoing and cute, and not act out.

ITA - I think that Caylee was likely abused physically by KC, emotionally by CA and probably sexually at some point by one of the boyfriends. I know the odds of being sexually abused will go up if mom has a lot of guys in and out of her life so sexual abuse is very likely. I do not think there was child porn though because someone would have been bragging about having seen it. I wonder if Caylee said something to CA and that is what the big fight was about. That would explain the duct tape as KC was punishing Caylee for saying something  . . .

How long does a funeral parlor keep remains, when someone doesn't make funeral plans? This is so strange to me, I have never known anyone not to make plans rather quickly. If they are holding off plans waiting for immunity, poor Caylee it is almost like she is being murdered again.

Ahhhh,TWO of my favorite monkeys all in one space!! I would like to come for breakfast also. I don't have a swanky "Laptop" yet so I'll just sit off to the side. BTW..Furnace needed a nozzle. Easy fix and I did say a TY prayer.

Someone should of taught Casey to say TY prayers and maybe Caylee would still be with us. My generation doesn't have the stick-to-it ness to attend church regular and make sure their children go as well. JMO

ITA, Boo about prisoners having so many rights! It's to keep rest amongst criminals?? It does seem odd that murders,rapist and the like have better treatment than patients at the mental institutions or even some nursing homes.

No need to sit off to the side, I'll share my laptop!! Glad to hear about your furnace! I had that happen a few weeks ago and my friend sent over her husband to fix it for me free of charge!! Sheri is a great friend!!

I agree, Leroy. There might have been one hell of a mother-daughter battle royal if Casey had 'fessed up to Cindy BEFORE Cindy made that fatal phone call to 911, but I believe they would have eventually worked out some story, told George and Lee what they were to say to inquiries about Caylee, and LE would never have known anything about a missing child.

I was watching on FOX cam ... when she entered ... and when LE arrived.  They rang the doorbell/knocked and the FOX reporter noted how long it took her to answer the door.  Certainly more than a few minutes ... and unless she was in the bathroom in the middle of a BM ... longer than it would take to walk through that small home.  I was amazed that LE just scolded her and sent her to her car ... no pat down or anything.  Though maybe they couldn't do that since they didn't have the warrant signed yet?  I dunno?

Baez will certainly bring up all this crap during the trial ... reasonable doubt and all that.  I don't think he can get a mistrial on "mistakes" ... he could only get a mistrial if he can prove LE blatantly did things to evidence or to sway the case in their favor.  I think?!

oooooooooo!!     That surely doesn't look good for Mallory!

For Caylee's sake, and for justice, am sure hoping that LE has done every single thing by the letter.  Just don't want the defense having anything to strike back with when the prosecution backs them into the corner.

Time how long it takes to rinse and refill water dishes for two small dogs, get out their food, put it in their dishes, and put it away. Probably more than a few minutes. Then again she might have been on the crapper. I just don't see how there could have been that much more evidence there to get rid of. I think wiping the computers would take a LOT more time than just 5 or 10 minutes, really. I think she really was just there feeding the dogs like she did every day at 9:30. Just because some people get up earlier than that, doesn't mean 9:30 is a weird time to feed the dogs.

Well that's true. And 9:30 a.m. is a reasonable time to feed the dogs, yes.  Neighbors said she was there everyday at that time.  Yet it wasn't 9:30 when she was there on the 11th.  It was more like mid-day, around noon, wasn't it?  Had she just zipped in, nearly barrelling over LE cuz she was late, perhaps sleeping in, missing her regular time feeding the dogs... I can understand that.  It's the other thing that happened, in combo with it being around the middle of the day feeding the dogs, she took her precious time answering the door when LE knocked.  Just makes me wonder, okies, what's really going on here?  Of course, as others have mentioned, could be in her haste to get over there on a late morning, she didn't have time to sit and go potty.  Could be she was busy shredding a grip of notes/letters too.
