I almost cancelled my photobucket account last month, but decided to keep paying for it for ONE more year. When I cancel it (probably next Feb.) ALL of the avatars in my thread will disappear. Forever.

If I were youIi would copy right all that magic you have stored on photobucket.  I don't know how you could just let everything go.  All your work, great ideas, and it will be

Copyrighting has nothing to do with my issue, Seahorse.

I just don't want to keep paying year after year for the account anymore.

There's not much need to host them, since the Forum has gotten so slow and people are not using the avatars.

I created the paid account to host the avatars for this forum.

When I stop paying, the account will no longer exist and all of the avatars and other artwork I store there will be deleted.

I love your puppy's spring flower avatar.  The composition of the posies around the face is so pretty, festive, and cheerful. I can almost can a whiff of the flowers scent

Well!!! Hello Sweet Brandi!!! Loooong time since my last visit!! Hope you are feeling better than the last time I was here. I am doing well.  Love living in Georgia! I work in Savannah, but I do not live there. Too much traffic and too much craziness for me. I saw the Geraldo special (hahahaah) about Scott Peterson and thought of all of you here. I miss all those nites I spent reading here.  Hope to start visiting again. Had a hard time recalling my password but got it before I got locked out..LOL..The special was not so special...not one thing new.  Did you see it?

I noticed that all of your older avatars have the words, "Green Eyes" on them.

My thinking is that everyone recognizes your lady as you, Green Eyes.

So I thought you might like to see some Spring designs with and without the words, "Green Eyes" on them.

I hope something here is to your liking.

Seahorse, the forum's software places the codes for you when you select an image to use. It is not some code that you input on your own.

Instructions for changing avatars:
Click on Profile at the top of this page, then go to "Forum Profile Information" on the left ... then under Picture, click the "I will upload my own picture" option and add the URL of the avatar to it. Then scroll down to the bottom and click the "Change profile" button. And, voila! Your avatar is updated.

If you don't wish to upload it, you can click on "I have my own pic" and add the URL to where your image is hosted.

If you have your avatars only saved to your computer, then you HAVE to upload it to the forum, using option 2, as I described above. (Or upload them to an online source.) No code to remember. You are making this more difficult on yourself than necessary.

As an example, my avatar is in my photobucket account. I have clicked the second option in my "Forum profile Information" that says, "I have my own pic" and added this URL to the box: http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo242/Brandi-Monkey/Image73.png~original

No brackets or img tags needed.

Are you clicking the "Change profile" button after you make changes?
