Interesting read about possible legal situation for Masoli. He may not even do anytime! He has plead guilty to ROBBERIES in 2005! Oh how i love how the justice system works. Not only for star athletes but, criminals in general.IF Jeremiah Masoli,IS a convicted felon, and gets no time for another felony.I'm at a loss for words.Oregon has a young kid who's gonna be a great quarterback!I have no idea why,at this point,Oregon doesn't cut there losses.

On a lighter note....Auburn has a new website that's geared towards recruiting and it is awesome.
There's a song that was written by an AU grad......."Tiger Walk" by T-Will (Travis Williams, former football player and now grad. assistant)
Lots of fun to watch and listen to if you love football like I do.....
I'm not usually a fan of rap, but this one is great...no filth just fun, and it will appeal to the age group they need to recruit.
I love what this new coaching staff is doing down on The Plains. It's energizing all the fans, and it's just very exciting!

Enjoy, if you have a minute!

Good stuff PDH.  Makes me yearn for the fall.  Clever Tiger Walk rap.  Did the grad that wrote the song also sing it?  Neat.  You start practice yet?  We start this Wednesday.  Can't wait.

Yes he did sing it beans, from what I understand. There was also another football player involved in creating the song.....AJ Greene who is a backup OL, and a music major, made the beat for a class project. He's very talented. There are some other football players or former players who use his beats for songs (Quentin Groves, Robert Dunn, etc.)

I'm not sure I remember when spring practice starts. I think it's this coming week though.

Spring practice did start this week, Here's an interesting article about our new QB Cam Newton, who was supposed to be the heir apparent to Tim Tebow.....

http://blog.al.com/goldmine/2010/03/fresh_start_quarterback_cam_ne.html

And here's an article about Rich Rod.....
I guess since he bailed on the HC job offer in Tucaloosa, he thought he could leave everything down there, including loan payments.....

Thanks PDH... can you believe LSU's spring game is tomorrow?  It will be on ESPN2 for anyone wanting to check them out.

We just had our 2nd practice today. ha.

Re Rich Rod... I swear I remember reading about that lawsuit a long time ago so I am not sure that that is new news but maybe something is happening in court to bring it back to the forefront?  Regardless... Michigan AD and pres have to be pretty tired of the bad publicity he has brought.  Time for some wins.  That always shuts people up.  If no wins.. he could be in trouble.

Lane Kiffin sure has been quiet.  Did they bind his mouth with ducktape?  Something is up.  Monkey Devil!

Auburn's spring game will be televised also. I'm posting a link for all the televised spring games for anyone like me who watches them...

As for Lane Kiffen.....maybe the reality of the mess at USC finally hit home, and they're all laying low.

Shall do PDH.  I heard about this.  Scary times fo r he and his family.  Prayers sent.

Meanwhile.. did you hear about ND's star OL recruit?  He was drunk on spring break and fell from 5th floor balcony and died?  Gone so fast.  Reminders that these are very young men we are dealing with.

My "joy" was a little "tongue-in-cheek" -- but, it was kind of neat!
