Well the first half Miami looked solid last night.  I missed second half... anything I should know? ha.  Good for the Canes.

Almost game day... good luck to all.

pdh, don't worry, just ESP message your team to not underestimate their QB !! I so hope you beat 'em although their QB is very good. Stewart used to be QB's coach and that's where I think many have underestimated him.

Shame on kiwi for holding out on us  It has to feel good to know you won't be decorating the dawghouse as much this season - congrats on breaking the 25 too!

Bean - you definitely have the edge on offense against VT and many haven't given up on Bo bringing your defense forward..........teams are still jelling at this point. Who know, you might blow them out? Can't hurt to hope?

cuz you're picked by many to win on Sat, I'll be pulling for you !!!

We have another tough one and will still be missing key skill players on defense as well as our most seasoned RB. Not going to be easy but praying, praying, praying our QB is on his passing game. Whole family plus some of our best friends will be at this one. I'll be up half the night post work cooking for the tailgate. So win or lose at least we'll have enjoyed the tailgate. Nascar's scores for the last game were no mistakes on offense and one block not achieved as detailed on special teams. Hopefully he'll have opportunity on Sat and no errors. Since the game is closeby he will get to stay overnight and his sis will run him back on Sunday after they drop me back off at the airport - yep, work's overwhelming right now. Wish me luck in getting my mind off it long enough to enjoy the game !! It will be good to have Nascar at least for overnight, I can bug him for hugs

KTF, thanks for sharing about the big recruits in your part of the country, always interesting to follow and read about it.

Good luck to all with their games, I hope everyone's a winner !!

thought I'd share a quote from a sports writer I've met recently from his column today, he was writing about our team and a few others regionally, it really sums it up short and sweet

"In football, everyone gets humbled eventually. The trick is surviving, then overcoming the jolt."

sure hoping we can.......

Good one None... I have a quote.  This is from the Def Coordinator, Charlie McBride who coached the Blackshirts under Osborne.  Tough tough guy.  Great coach.  Its' simple:  Defense is 20% Skill and 80% Mental.  His theory - attitude is everything.

PDH you have a tough one this week but I think so long as the team keeps playing with energy they will be just fine.  Itd be a nice win.

NONE another tough one for you.  Glad the whole clan is coming over and sorry you are cooking.  LOL  Cater!  Seriously, enjoy the day - these are special times.  And GO NASCAR!

CUZ - you playing the Dawgs.  I think the Hawgs will eat the Dawgs.

KIWI - where are you?!!  Big Blue with another W over a Michigan directional.  Forcier runs for 5000 and passes for 10000!

GO - WI gets another win... some school I never heard of.. seriously.  Take the W and run!

KTF - This is the week we all cheer for you... taking down USC.  Make it happen.  Go Washington!

Huskers taking on VA TECH.. I won't jinx us.  I am nervous.  Our offense vs their defense.  Look for lots of passing.

Revenge games: ....the radio guy said Florida Coach will tackle Kiffin before the game begins just to prove a point.  Those earlier comments might come back to haunt the men in Orange.  We will see...  I don't think it'll be close.  Too much experience at FL and too young a team on the other side.

Texas vs Texas Tech.  Mack vs the Pirate.     Texas is still POed losing to Tech at years end 08... Tech will pay the price.  They lost key players, especially on the D side... Look for TX to beat them up good.

Finally... Colorado vs. Wyoming!

Can Colorado win a game this year?  Wyoming led Texas last week for most of the first half.  I'm picking the Cowboys to beat the Buffs.

GO BIG RED!!!

I'm keeping an eye on "Barry Sanders Jr.". He is a sophomore in Oklahoma City at a private school (Heritage Hall - where my friend, and the QB of my own HS team) is head coach. My friend coaches essentially for the fun of it. His family is very well off in the oil business. I tell you this because his family are HUGE donors/supporters of OSU athletics. Barry Sr. attends his games and has really become more active in supporting Oklahoma State! I'm hoping these influences will get Barry Jr. to OK State!

I've seen some of B.S. Jr's Youtube videos.Looks phenomenal & with Mike Gundy down there i would think OSU would have the inside track but, sometimes they wanna make their own path.Thank God that's what Nick Montana did!

Headin out for a couple hrs but will return tonight for some Night Crew action!

Sometimes I dream about an edit button....

GAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WAREAGLE!!!

Good luck to everyone's team!

GO NASCAR!!!!!

Last night Boise ST and Fresno State just ran up and down the field scoring almost at will for a while.
Boise looks like a really good team. That coach is doing a heck of a job.

So...the menu tonight is...grilled catfish and corn on the cob. I will have to add a green veggie too...maybe a salad.
I'm not thinking about WVU.......I swear I'm not....
