Bean, they asked Kiwi to play that spot. But I suggested when it was all said and done, Kiwi would have been squished!

Well since Kiwi is used to be the "CENTER" of attention... it just seemed a natural fit.

kiwi....yep...our ex-michigan qb is the real deal!!  offense not our problem...... we have no defense!! our defensive co coach is willy robinson...some fans are blogging it is time to "free willy"....lol!!
kind of rough when you have 500 total offensive yards and 41 points but still lose!
we go to bama saturday...cbs game at 2:30....kiwi better keep my seat ready just in case!!!

KTF - I agree that Les Miles showed some real class there.  I also credit Bill McCartney for helping raise the kid.  I really credit the kid...  I feel awful for Sal.  But I gotta tell you... there is way more to that story than was printed.   I'm not going there.. just saying.  (My dad was a football coach and lived in Boulder for a long time)

I'm sure your right Frijole.A very sad story! It's nice too see that there are coaches around the country that truly do care.Les Miles didn't have to do that but,he did.I have a new found respect for Coach Miles!

300 STRAIGHT SELL OUTS AT MEMORIAL STADIUM... 2ND PLACE IS NOTRE DAME AT JUST OVER 200

SINCE 1962...RECORD IS 260 WINS AND 39 LOSSES

MOST LOSSES DURING RECENT YEARS.. THANK YOU BILL CALLAHAN

Fans coming to game today dressed in red retro - red jackets, fedora hats, skinny black ties... should be a hoot.  Band playing hits from the era.  Special salute to Bob Devany and his family - jets flying overhead - 85000 red balloons released after the first score.  Special tile mural commissioned by New York artist and dedicated to the fans - some key recruits in town.

? Will Bo wear plaid pants and a red jacket w/fedora like Devany did?  LMAO  Don't think so... but they are so much alike in their personalities.

All I gotta say is GO BIG RED.  We love our team come rain or shine.

Bean what a shot of your stadium, wow, are you going to the game today?

I am so out of the loop, leave it to me to travel to Chicago for work and get sick as a dog. Seems half our team caught the flu last weekend along with me. Swine flu is rampant here too but thank heavens I didn't have that - just regular flu so bad I had to crawl to my room Weds night. Anyway, flew home late yesterday but can't make the game. Nascar has been as sick or sicker than me, likely since he missed one work-out that he won't be allowed to play today. We'll see.

I haven't had time to check who all of you play so I'll make a blanket I hope you win, win, win statement and hope I can catch up later. Honestly I am going to lie down now..........whew this is some kinda flu.

poor none and nascar....please don't pass that virus thru the computer!!
it is starting to rev up here as well...like you i keep the hand sanitizer handy!
well ole miss took a hit thursday night...south carolina is a strong team defensively. so much for ole miss's "easy sec" schedule!! Monkey Devil!
espn was on last night in the other room and i could hear them talking about our qb ryan mallett. said he had the strongest arm in the sec! 1 of the guys was even comparing him to dan marino!!! hope he shows them right today....but it is suppose to be raining in alabama so might not be a great day for the passing game!
good luck everybody! have a great weekend!

Can ya'll believe all these top ten teams going down?!
I'm scared to be in the top ten right now!!!
Really exciting game for Bama today although we lost one of our best linebackers in Don'ta Hightower. He injured his knee.
I have to say I'm really happy for V Tech. They are a really good team this year. Plus I can't stand Miami
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Oh my gosh the Cal Bears really choked today    I'm heartbroken.

I don't know how Coach Tedford is going to rally the troops for the USC game next week.

Last week, really really happy!  This week, really really sad!  If this keeps up I'm going to need Prozac.  At the least.
