Been looking for Nascar....not seeing a lot of our boy......
Me too!  What is up with that?  Pissing me off too!  This game could end up being like yours PDH!  Oh no.. my heart.

Wreck you were spot on... your QB should not have been in there that long.  Is he a JR or SR?  Tough to lose Dez.. he was the playmaker man.  Great combo.

So sorry wreck! It's hard to play when you've lost your big weapons!

Congratulations cuz! My goodness it was exciting!

NASCAR - We are so proud of you!!!!  Too bad the kicker was so affected by the cold...or the bad ESPN football juju....or the lack of sleep. Something had him off his game. Poor kid. I felt really bad for him. ECU played the Hawgs better than some SEC teams which shall remain nameless....cough...cough....

I did see Nascar once.....but I was hoping for much more.....

klaas.....that's AWESOME!

Wow... that game was something else.  Cuz, congrats on the win.. it had to have been the lucky sweater you dug out to wear!  Cuz with O third down conversions that team was on their 9th life!  I agree that your QB needs to take another year to learn the game.. not ready for the draft yet.

Re our dear Nascar... I am very disappointed but hope he had a blast at the game and scored some real neat gifts.  My heart just broke for that poor kicker... I saw his long was 52 yds so I guess it just wasn't his night.  Poor guy.  ECU really deserved the win but it wasn't meant to be.

Looks like the Train Wreck bowl - TT vs MS will be a good one.

None, travel safe going home and give our guy a big congrats on the graduation and season.  Hope your mom had fun too and managed to stay warm...though the high here today was 8 and we have more snow tonight.. 4 inches last I let the dogs out.  I think I need to move south.

Oink...Oink...Oink!...a pig is not what i had in mind....i want a razorback!
pd....auburn not the only sec we beat...ended up with an 8-5 season with 2 close games with lsu and florida so overall the season was a big improvement over last years 5-7!
i was really surprised south carolina was squashed by uconn!

Bowls for the troops
Published Saturday, January 02, 2010 at 08:26 AM
UNDATED (AP) _ They can't be home for the big bowl games, so some U.S. troops in Iraq had the bowl game come to them New Year's Day. Football greats such as Ty Detmer and Tony Casillas played an 8-on-8 flag football game with U.S. soldiers at their base in Baghdad. And the coaches were no slouches either. Barry Switzer and Tommy Bowden each coached a team for the game that'll be aired during halftime of Monday night's Fiesta Bowl. Staff Sgt. Cecil Graham, who plays for a championship flag football team on the base, calls it ``unforgettable.'' Unforgettable for Switzer and Casillas, too. Casillas said warning sirens telling everyone to ``get down'' blared three times Thursday night. But he says he'd go back and do it all again.

None- If I'm not mistaken I thought I saw NASCAR on a play with three wide and one on the opposite side. Hmm they threw into triple coverage on the single wide. I did see him on punts. Still it was exciting to follow him through a lot of the games this year.

Kiwi, thanks, he did kick off's and returns and had two huge blocks that opened the return runs for Harris on two occasions. He was in most of the first quarter in four wides, he played the possession wr. He was playing 2 positions until holtz decided after the rice game that our 6th yr QB gets too "confused" if he has to pay attention to son in more than one place? A crock and even the media stopped by to tell son what BS it was, I was standing right there. So after we began running the ball in the 2nd Q, son didn't come back in until the 4th when it was apparent the hawgs had figured out HC's simple offense........

Our QB lost that game, not our kicker. Our QB son of a former player who have held our program hostage for two years. I made sure I gave Dad a good long look before I left.......

Congrats to cuz, we didn't expect to be able to run the ball at all, turned out the opposite was the case? Our RB was our star and he's one great kid and I was happy for him.

I guess you do lose a lot on TV, son was in the last offensive series in the 4th Q with 4 wides - son was wide open on the 15 yard line TWICE and PP chose not to throw the ball to him.

Our QB lost that game, back to back int's......then he folded, as always.

HC is not ready for primetime, it is what it is and even his daddy can't make up for that.

Thanks for the good words for nascar, he's taking it like a man and looking ahead to his interviews next week. I appreciate all of your support, always.

Good points None!  I forgot all about those 2 interceptions after the kicks.  Regardless you guys played way closer to Arkansas than anyone expected.  Thanks for the insight from the field... Am glad that Nascar was in more than we thought and that he is already interviewing!

Travel safe going home!

I used to know Tony! After his playing days with the Cowboys was over, he used to hang out in a bar I used to go to. We have sat and talked several times. Even though he was a "Sooner", he really is genuine good guy!!

ESPN focused on only a few players, and while I did think I recognized Nascar's way of running on one other other play, the only really good shot of him showing his face and his number and name was when the team was standing in a group.
Now I'm even madder. He should've been tossed a couple of balls in his last game......and allowed to have the chance to make a play...

Well...now he can take his hard-earned degree and his bright future and go make a success of himself in another arena. He is such a winner!

TCU's strength was their Defense this year. I was mldly surprised myself.

I watched the whole game last night. Except for the trick play near the end of the game, either team could have won that game.  I wish we would see more teams take the chance to win in a bowl game. For those that didn't see the play here it is- Boise State faked a punt from their own 30 yard line on 4th and 9. Instead the punter completed a pass for a 29 yard completion. Eventually, they scored and brought the score to 17-10. Simply an incomplete pass would have given TCU the ball on the Boise State 30, with 10-10 score.
