Per the LA times and a former player - PC notified his team of his departure BY TEXT last night at 10:30 pm PST.  That is low.  Ouch.

I would have never have dreamt it ................... but the Dallas Cowboys are actually playing incredible football in all 3 phases of the game right now! 

Hey I'm on a roll here! At least the Cardinals are making up for me having the Wolverines. I'm not sure how far Arizona will go but at least they helped my Sundays.

Bean - I agree Carroll's text message was a slap in the face to the players and the recruits, but then nothing surprises me anymore in college football and the coaching carousels.

We had few surprises at the banquet, I'll send you email with particulars but we had a big no-show from a top player which may further diminish the season for next year. May be just desserts for some.....just can't explain more here. Son was one of two at his position to win an award for performance in 7 or more games.......remarkable, if you're a top performer then why not be given more opportunity? But I have some answers now, I got the facetime to get those answers, that was important for it's the parent that has to help guide the players after the coaches (or some coaches) finish their machinations and even manipulations with them.

We as a family are just looking forward to cheering for whatever team son ends up with, again and again coaches mentioned his character and commitment as did other players, so I'm hopeful he lives gets his chance to bring that to his coaching one day.

A friend told me today that Michael Oher is all over facebook, have any of you seen this?

I left a meeting tonight and heard this on the radio and I seriously almost drove off the road.... laughing.

Now that I have heard he's bringing Monte, Orgeron and Chow... I just have one question.  What the hell is Lane going to do?     Seriously.  Can you imagine coaching meetings?  "Lane STFU!"  "Lane what are you doing here?"  The best they can hope for is that he stays out of the way.

Sounds like too many chiefs and not enough Indians to me.  Who will really be the coach?  Guess we will see.

I feel sooooooooooooooo bad for the kids that had their 2nd day on campus at UT today.  If they bolt they have to sit out 2 yrs.  Nice. 

Wondering if Tuberville would have preferred the UT job?  Who will go to UT? 

Man.  What an off season.  Like a soap opera.

I don't doubt it................. son's blogging and said mattresses were being set on fire. He also said Kiffin didn't want cameras at a press conference and would take no questions.

He'll talk to the press at USC.............. tomorrow.

I saw the press conference.  Lane had on a plain white shirt  no logo.  Very uncomfortable.  Didn't say much but thanked the wonderful people of TN and said he worked every day blah blah and the program is in better shape than when he came in 14 mos ago. 


Karma will get him.  Like I said... even the USC fans can't stand him and it is obvious they are only excited about the group of assistants that will be running the program.  Lane really won't be the head coach.  Not sure how his ego will take that.  I think it will blow up on him/them.

UT will get a better coach.  Fans need to take a shower and get rid of every remnant of his tenure.  Focus on the bright future ahead.  No where to go but up.

Muschamp is heir apparrent to Mac Brown at Texas. I think he will wait that job out. Mac is about to retire.

Just read that on the TENN Premium boards it is confirmed that Muschamp will interview.  That would be a win/win!  Win for UT and a win for those in the Big 12 outside of UTX! ha.
