Oh I know that George and Cindy had decent people around them. Kind caring and compassionate people like NeJame, Tim Miller and the association didn't last for various reasons.
It's a Sunday morning and I am sitting here thinking about my GD's second bithday which is looming at the end of the month ( the ELMO theme ) and the ANT's are in the position of having to plan a funeral/services/ and then sit in court or be consumed with legal issues until the end of their days here on earth.

Karma maybe?

G&C don't seem to be able to get along with "kind, caring and compassionate people" for very long...do they?

It seems more and more common that young women are trying to shirk the responsibility of being a mother.

I can list at least 5 situations I know of first-hand, where individuals (family members and good friends) have basically given away their kids to family members, so they could do their own thing.  It's really shocking to me.

I mean, sure. Being a mom is hard. I can't imagine being a single mom, but you know- there are thousands of women out there who not only CAN do it, but ARE. They are willing to make sacrifices - cut down on partying, for example- so they can bring their children up right.

I agree sooooooooo much with what you've said here, anothermonkey!  Wonder whatever happened to what seems to be the basic instincts of a mother..

I too agree.  I was YOUNGER than Casey when I had my 1st Daughter.  I worked hard, stayed off state assistance, had a great relationship with her dad, who worked as well but had to travel.  That left me working and being a single mother.  NOT EASY, AT ALL. What I dont get though, when i look back at the bad days we had i just think of my daughter and how she needed me and relied on me and that kept me going!! Just seems to be the opposite of what goes on today.  It really is baffling.

Happy New Year everybody - just a quick post here as I've got to go run errands.

I still cannot be of the opinion that George or Cin Cin were in the dark regarding what may have befallen Caylee on the evening of the 15th, as the natural reaction would have been for them to have called LE while still at the towyard upon smelling that odor.

George even remarked about his relief to the tow yard man that it wasn't his daughter or grandaughter in there once the car was opened.  But, he had already expressed his distress to the towyard man that his daughter [ and I think grandaughter ] had been nowhere to be found for quite sometime.

So, if he is really ignorant of their fate & whereabouts, he would have become very frightened at the odor on the spot and would have immediately contacted LE from the towyard for help, in my opinion.   This has always nagged me and speaks volumes.  And then we hear Lee's amusement at his father having to drive the stinky car home - we don't hear any natural concern  [ regarding  the cause of the odor ] from Lee either.  Did all three already know everything ?  Was everything simply a public 'cover your rear' charade beginning with those 911 calls ?  Things do not add up starting then, imo.

IMO they all suspected Casey was guilty, but none of them could prove it. I think all of them half hoped she wasn't, and that eventually it would turn out that the decomp in the car was a dog she had hit while joyriding, and meant to bury and forgot about. Or a guy who tried to rape &  kill her and Caylee and she killed him a la Thelma & Louise, and rode around with him in the trunk awhile trying to think what to do before throwing him in the river....or anything, anything but Caylee.

George would have become frightened at the odor, sure, but he also mentioned thinking that Casey finally ripped off the wrong guy....IMO he may have thought there were bigger forces involved, like Mafia, corrupt LE, and/or gangs, and that LE would be useless against that kind of thing anyway. He couldn't prove Casey did it, and he didn't want to be stuck with an acquitted Casey in the house who had a vendetta against him and the family.

Lee & Cindy, IMO, suspected Casey was guilty, but when they thought about what it would be like if they cooperated with LE and then Casey was acquitted, or what it would be like if Casey had a large violent gang of child pornographers and drug dealers on her side against them, they decided to play it safe, because they did NOT have any solid proof against Casey. They didn't know where the body was.

Cindy got the friends together to work on the timeline and make sure they were "all on the same page emotionally." She "didn't want to lose another one," and she didn't want to believe what was happening was even possible, and she was ready to believe that whatever was in the trunk, it wasn't Caylee. She convinced herself that Casey didn't kill Caylee, and went into deep denial. Unconsciously she actually tried to tell on Casey. The whole family in between the lines is pumping Casey for information and she knows it.

She decides she doesn't want to see Lee anymore, because he keeps calling her on her lies. She tells him in code where the body is hoping he'll move the body, but he doesn't. She decides he's on the side of LE. Which he probably IS.

I've always known the pool ladder story was a complete fabrication. And I think they told that whopper to let Casey see they were "on her side." They're supporting her 100%. But they'll say RIGHT IN FRONT OF LP, that they ought to give the wrong hairbrush, so Casey will hear and know how loyal they are.

I don't think any of them want Casey free. They just don't want her dead.

I think Casey is prematurely graying just like Lee.  She's going to look pretty bad the next time she's in court.

Lisa

I think you're right.  And, I'm thankful they don't sell hair dye at the prison commissary!

What about makeup ? Can she purchase any form of eye liner, lipstick, blush etc... ?

I would think that the commissary list is different in jail vs prison. Wonder what prison she will be going to? Any ideas? We could look up what they offer the prisoners.

Here's a start Boo.

Dear Klaas,

I know you have all of this information because you are an an=administrator here at SM.  I'm completely fine that you and Red have this info too.

I just want to tell you why I won't join the SM Facebook site.  I simply don't trust that anyone in the World would have access to my information.  Especially because I simply can't use a false ID.  It just wouldn't sit right with my moral code.

I don't know if she can, but I'm sure if she can she will, she needs to look pretty for her lawyers.

ITA, what we are seeing is the aftermath of a very long storm. I can't imagine dealing with that on a daily basis, then on top of it, worrying about a small baby. There was nothing they could do at the time about Caylee. She belonged to KC and according to the law, that was that. I suspect Cindy had finally reached the end of her rope when contacting a councilor and had documented enough stuff on KC to go after Caylee in court. Wonder where those papers are? I bet Cindy had a big thick file folder full of stuff to prove she was an unfit mother. Including maybe bruises, etc. on Caylee, maybe even Caylee's own words. They just weren't quick enough for KC, she got the last strike in before they could get her!

Next Cindy goes into protective mode, the one she has been in for a very long time. We saw it in her email exchange with her brother. She denies everything, and if done enough and loud enough (just like KC) people will back off and leave her alone. Personally, I think Cindy learned it from KC, she got the full effect for many many years of battling KC.

Yep Boo, I agree!

Many moms of Cindy's generation have a "What happens in this house stays in this house" kind of mentality.  She was certainly at her wits end if she saught counseling, as this is not often done in dysfuntional families by the controlling one.  I am sure that if Cindy would allow her own counselor to speak with LE they would have a very interesting view of what was going on in the house prior to KC leaving.  And I am sure it would NOT help KC.
I think the big fight the  nightvKC left was Cindy found out KC was druging Caylee=Caylee could have said I dont like the medicine mommy gives me to sleep-or I dont like to sleep in the car all alone.Caylee could have said any number od things to alert  Cindy.

Hello all monkey and welcome newbies

I was watching Lock Up raw last night and they had a lady in prison that had killed her husband.
She was in her cell and then she went to the bathroom to freshen up. She had makeup, brush, comb, hair spray, TV in her cell and a locker with all kinds of stuff and when she closed her cell door she had pictures and cards taped to the outside.
I got so darn mad thinking Casey will have all this stuff too. She will buy all kinds of things once a week she will have that to look forward too and that makes me sick. She will still get to put her make up on and have gel and hair spray to make herself all dolled up makes me sick.

monkey hugs
But if things go right, she can never never never never never leave.

Yeap that is the up side.
But if A's are not arrested they will see that she has everything she wants.
I mean it looked like the lady was in a collage dorm
Whatever happened to the good old fashioned chain gang? Make them work, not put on makeup and hair spray, they have nowhere to go so why bother.

Maybe I feel more sympathy towards the ANT family as they haven't been making public stupid statements recently. I might change my mind when we find out just what they want immunity for and what they are going to give up to get it. And what type of services they have. If any services are turned into a money making opportunity, then they can rot in the Hell they are in.The media who chased them with $$$$$$$$$$dollar bills is partly to blame for all the public outrage. They are perceived as persons who have made their granddaughter's death a profitable Family Business.
...........
I think if they wanted to have a private family service, then they could have it at their house. Out of the public eye. Cindy's Mother is not young and the rest of the actual blood relatives might not want to be part of or be up to the task.
I agree with you--I feel the same way==all the ants have to do is keep out of the public eye.

does anyone know where i can find the transcripts of LA visiting KC in jail on july 28th?  i have listened & watched the videos til i want to sew my ears shut! i really believe LA & KC are talking about where Caylee is. LA says something like "there are only certain things you can change from where you are" & LA says "i will pick up where you left off". also there's a part where LA says something like "maybe it's time someone else needs to stress & react to this?" also he says something about "things are not going to go down like planned, there have been some changes" i know i am not saying this exactly right, so if anyone has a link to the transcripts, that would great. tia.

wendi
also i think both LA & KC have fleas.

Well if she can't have blush, that must just really ruin her day. After looking at the commissary list, I would say the prisoners are pretty lucky to be able to order all those things, even tuna in a pouch.
