What if they arrest PVDS?  Could the cards fall?

That would be interesting! What has occured recently that would see the corrupt close ranks on Paulus?Backed into a corner he may chirp but,i don't hold my breath.

Maybe if there really is something to the trafficing?  Not from Aruba, but maybe Jorass gave enough info away to get Paulus on that.

Aruba hasn't implemented any Trafficking laws yet,or have they?

Do they have to be Aruban laws, if he ws involved in schemes in other countries?

Absolutely not Ree!"If" Paulus actually did traffic.Where was he sending them?To Holland?

Well, suspose they were from Columbia or Thailand and shipped to Holland.  Perhaps he wasn't the trafficer, but the money guy or guy who writes contracts to cover the illegal activity.  If they had him dead to rights he might talk.

"If" they had him on trafficking. Why would he come clean about Natalee, and or the corruption of Aruba? How would arresting Paulus on Trafficking get us closer to the truth?? Still confused in Seattle.LOL

What if they arrest PVDS?  Could the cards fall?

YES!!!

Without a Aruban strategy ... THE HOUSE OF CARDS WILL COLLAPSE ... if Paulus van der Sloot is implicated.  However ... logic dictates that Aruba or Holland is not going to allow the house of cards to collapse.

I contend ... to avoid the domino effect ... there has been a negotiated outcome which implies that accountability will stop and end with a sacrificial lamb that has been predetermined.

I believe the sacrificial lamb will be either Joran van der Sloot or Jan vander Straaten.

1.  JORAN VAN DER SLOOT

Joran was 17 years old at the time when Natalee Holloway went missing.  The consequences would imply a slap on the wrist.

2.  JAN VAN DER STRATTEN

Straaten will plead "not guilty" to the charges of making decisions within the first ten days of the investigation that implied a conflict of interest.  The Dutch judge will concur.  However ... Straaten will concede that "mistakes" that totally compromised the investigation and ... justice for Natalee Holloway can never be.

Think about it.  Wrong decisions are made every day within investigations in America and Canada ... wrong decisions that compromise justice for a victim.  Heads may roll but ... there are no legal ramifications.

An official apology will be afford the family of Natalee Holloway for an "incompetent" Aruban investigation.  However ... it is too late to turn back the clock.  Too bad; so sad.

Case Closed!!!

Nows the time when some family "connections" would help.  Anybody know anything they can share?

But it was Rudy Croes who had the complaint filed against him by two women who said he was keeping them as sex slaves wasn't it/

Wrong side of the equation.  This seems to be the problem, they are all so dirty no one is willing to squeal on anybody else because of being so dirty themselves that they know they, too, would be exposed in retaliation if nothing else.

While I would tend to agree, I'm not sure that JQK and Beth would not see through that and refuse to accept it.

Greta seems to be blogging as usual but no mention of Natalee!!!!!

Report on Bush cat dying and Minnesota senate race so she must have access to a computer.  Maybe we should post comments demanding to know if she is in Aruba and wasssup?

I think Greta has others take over her blog when she is on the road.  Could be she is in transit.

From Het Parool (mondayevening 5-1-2009 19.49)

ARE THEY AFRAID

Parliamentary consultations Aruba suspended
ORANGE CITY - The consultations on Aruba between the parliaments of the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba is suspended until further notice. The Dutch delegation was headed by Willibrord van Beek has criticized the fact that the Aruban Prime Minister and ministers have canceled their speeches.

This is what the Antillian Aruban delegation leaders reported Monday. The four men Aruban government would deliver a speech to the Parliamentary Discussion Kingdom (POK), which takes place every six months. Presumably, the presence of-PVV MP Hero Brinkman led to cancellations.

Last year was a meeting in Curaçao POK not because of statements by Brinkman. (ANP)

Brinkman threatened  in Aruba

ORANGE CITY - The chief of protocol Aruba, Eric Bret, on Monday threatened PVV MP Hero Brinkman-in to beat each other. "Aruba is not corrupt, I mean to me you do not break to save," said Bret for the building of the Administrative Office in Orange City. Brinkman was at that moment in the presence of others in the Chamber Jan Schinkelshoek, John Leerdam and Ineke van Gent. Government Employees had Arubaan raging temper.
Brinkman, who is in Aruba for the semi-annual parliamentary consultations between the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, feels threatened, but no declaration of threat. "It is a naive man with the mind of a child of four years," said the PVV politician. "If he wants to hit me up, my man, I do. I am 23 years been in the police. "

It is striking that the public gallery of the Aruban parliament no security personnel present. Brinkman thinks the incident a response to his statements on TV that Aruba "corrupt as hell is. "I am now also floor length in the Holloway case. It is a disgrace case still continues thirty years, if nothing is done ", the PVV politician.

The Second Chamber has Sunday to Aruba for the second time with the American Foxnews channel discussed the case.

because Aruban prime-minister and other ministers refused to give speeches.

in a way it is a good thing that those meetings are suspended.
now Brinkman has more time to focus on the Holloway case.
and he doesn't have sit there listening to the whining, and the threats of the Arubans.

ARUBA: It's all about Natalee...we won't give up!

They just think they want to fight!  My money would be on Hero Brinkman, taking any of those cowards on (with one hand tied behind his back!)!

Cowards, that's all they are....corrupt cowards!

I don't ever recall Rudy Croes visiting family in the USA!  Did he escort Val and Maki back to school or something?  Pale faced coward!  He probably knew that Hero would pull that wig off and shove it down his throat!

(Sorry, bad attitude I didn't want to go back to work today...)

They all cancelled their speeches so they wouldn't have to look anyone in the eye.

I stand with the girl, Natalee Holloway.

"I can look back over the past 10 years and there were no steps wasted, and there are no regrets,'' she said. "I did all I knew to do and I think that gives me greater peace now." "I've lived every parent's worst nightmare and I'm the parent that nobody wants to be," she said.
