The November 2, 2005 meeting with Mrs. Twitty and the Strategic
Communications Task Force was an opportunity to exchange thoughts, facts and opinions between both parties. Both parties brought several issues forward. The consensus is that the primary goal of everyone involved is to find out what really happened to Natalee Holloway by allowing the investigators to carry out their work and hopefully bring this investigation to a conclusion.

The Task Force reaffirmed its concern and empathy for the suffering of the Holloway and Twitty families in this terrible situation, yet called their attention to the need to remain fair to the population of Aruba and not to engage in making requests which aim to interfere with the economic stability of our island. The Task Force brought forward their disappointment with the fact that, despite numerous efforts that have been made by the local community to find Ms. Holloway and the enormous expenses incurred by our small island, the community of Aruba is collectively being unfairly accused of a number of things. This has gone so far that there are now calls for Americans not to visit the island and a call for an economic boycott of the entire island of Aruba.

The response of Mrs. Twitty to these issues is that she never used the word boycott. The Task Force did inform Mrs. Twitty that she may not have used the word "boycott", but that her appearance on shows where she speaks with persons that call for a boycott while nodding her head in obvious agreement, represents an endorsement of such a call. The Task Force repeatedly made it clear to Mrs. Twitty that condemning a whole nation for an isolated case
(which remains under active investigation) is grossly unfair. Mrs. Twitty did state that this case was never about a single citizen of Aruba or anyone present in the meeting, yet rather about what she feels are barriers that exist in the police force and prosecutor’s office which prevent the case from moving forward.

Mr. Paul Reynolds reaffirmed in this meeting that he is absolutely against any call for an economic boycott of the island, and that he wants to reassure the population of Aruba that this has nothing to do with the community of Aruba.


When I discovered Ed Smith's identity I called Jamie Skeeters who in turn called Ed Smith / Roos who confirmed that he was indeed Edwin Roos. All Jamie did was call the number listed above.

While Aruban Authorities repeatedly threatened Beth Twitty with a variety of unpleasant future events, which could include shutting down the investigation into the disappearance of her Daughter Natalee, they worked in a concerted effort to deny her the JUSTICE they promised. This all occurred at the highest levels of the Aruban Government and used a variety of tactics to keep the Boycott from progressing.

Mrs. Twitty never once, to my knowledge, made any references to the VOLUNTARY Boycott of the Island of Aruba. With threats like she received, how could she? While working to assure no loss of revenue from the American Tourists, they left Natalee on the beach and lied to everyone.

LOL.  Can you imagine the 'new' protocol he would establish if the meetings had not been cancelled?

"Okay.  Before any speeches are given, everyone will line up on the right side of the room and prepare to assault Hero Brinkman, after which we will have him carried out of the auditorium."

They will also have blow by blow photos, which is the norm down there.  Of course, none will show any Brinkman lands. 

BTW, is Joran really back in the NL?  Anyone know for sure?  Just wondering....

Yes it does!With as much power and influence the Mansur's "Appear" to have on this island i think it's somewhat safe to say they must have some intimate knowledge of the TRUTH regarding the murder and cover-up of Natalee Holloway!

Sorry, I did not see your prior post.  (I'm mostly W/L today, but it has been quiet here for the last hour or so.)

I do not know anymore about the Mansurs.  Seems at times they are 100% behind the family, and then their name comes on things like this.  It's hard to pin it down.  I would think they have the 'island scoop' on everything.  But, if they do they aren't saying.  If the don't...them someone has replaced them as the bigwigs!

The Colombian question is difficult to track from a banking stand point.  All of the conficsated assests the U.S. has attached can be easily identified.  It's the ones they haved not attached yet that are hard.  I am tracking some aircraft that I have been interested in for a long time.  I get notifications everytime the registered planes takeoff or land.  The problem is they can only be tracked so far by the U.S.  Once they get to a certain point I do not always get data once they enter Colombian airspace.

I will keep watching, though.

I don't ever recall Rudy Croes visiting family in the USA!  Did he escort Val and Maki back to school or something?  Pale faced coward!  He probably knew that Hero would pull that wig off and shove it down his throat!

I would love to know what power a well intended politician possesses to investigate a corrupt Aruban investigation.

Hey ... when Rudy Croes turned the investigation over to the Dutch investigators ... the outcome was zilch and ... apparently the Dutch investigators had the full cooperation of Aruba and ... freedom of access to all documentation in the Natalee Holloway case.

Who is going to assist Hero Brinkman in this investigation?  The Aruban and Dutch "powers that be" who ... through a coverup agenda for almost four years ... have denied justice to an 18 year old American citizen and ... put her family through a H--- on Earth.

YES!!!

Without a Aruban strategy ... THE HOUSE OF CARDS WILL COLLAPSE ... if Paulus van der Sloot is implicated.  However ... logic dictates that Aruba or Holland is not going to allow the house of cards to collapse.

I contend ... to avoid the domino effect ... there has been a negotiated outcome which implies that accountability will stop and end with a sacrificial lamb that has been predetermined.

I believe the sacrificial lamb will be either Joran van der Sloot or Jan vander Straaten.

1.  JORAN VAN DER SLOOT

Joran was 17 years old at the time when Natalee Holloway went missing.  The consequences would imply a slap on the wrist.

2.  JAN VAN DER STRATTEN

Straaten will plead "not guilty" to the charges of making decisions within the first ten days of the investigation that implied a conflict of interest.  The Dutch judge will concur.  However ... Straaten will concede that "mistakes" that totally compromised the investigation and ... justice for Natalee Holloway can never be.

Think about it.  Wrong decisions are made every day within investigations in America and Canada ... wrong decisions that compromise justice for a victim.  Heads may roll but ... there are no legal ramifications.

An official apology will be afford the family of Natalee Holloway for an "incompetent" Aruban investigation.  However ... it is too late to turn back the clock.  Too bad; so sad.

And the placing of what was called "decoys" began immeidately at the behest of this group of people.  Some even posted attesting to this fact on the FP here at SM.

This is why I don't believe much of what came from posters from Aruba.  They all seemed to have an agenda they received via this organization which was already formed and in action ten days after Natalee disappeared.  By the time the prime suspects were arrested, this group was already in place and had their marching orderd and agenda in place.

This is one of the main reasons we were never able to find out the TRUTH about anything!  Talk about obstruction of Justice!  But they were also "assisting" in and had total access to all the information ALE collected.

Here is where the cover up began, IMO, and here is where it originated, was funded and why no one can seem to break it now.

Bunch of damned thugs!  They think they are entitled to protect tourism at the expense of truth and justice for Natalee and her family.  They actually think this is their right!

They are so wrong.  And with the economy as it is, they will be looking for somebody to blame yet again. 

Aruba had a choice in the beginning, a choice to arrest and prosecute.  They seemed to delude themselves that if they could just cast doubt, they would be OK. 

Well, now nothing will save their tourism in this economy so let's see what their next trick is.

If the House of Cards were to collapse as a result of the domino effect of accountability ... the Dutch investigators are going to fall along with those who played a role in the events that encompassed the morning of May 30, 2005 ... those in the Dutch/Aruban administrations who participated in the ensuing coverup ... the judiciary and ... the major players in Aruba's underground economy.

I firmly believe that an Aruban outcome has been negotiated ... an outcome that will prevent the house of cards from collapsing ... an outcome that dictates that a measure of  accountability will start and end with only one person ... maybe a few people.

I have Dutch friends and relatives BOLO for information on Joran being there but they report seeing nothing.

Maybe if he went back to NL it was to avoid the arrest by the Thai for attempting to traffic their young girls.  They can be very harsh legally when they want to be.  I believe Beth made reference to the movie Midnight Express to see the conditions of justice and imprisonment under many countries of the world?  So maybe Joran fears arrest and a Thai-style fixed trial and life in prison there.

I wonder if they use caning in Thailand as well.  Anyone know?  They may tolerate their own doing things we consider illegal but may not take kindly to foreigners trying to do the same sort of things.  Also have been trying to clean up their image of late with regard to sexual tourism.

Will report back if any sightings are verified by media but was told by someone who claims to check Telegraph and others "20 times a day" that there is nothing being reported in NL as yet.

This sounds reasonable, Janet.  And while absolute and total prosecution of every single soul involved would be best, it just might do to see a few get it instead of none.

But unless there are SLOOTS involved and prosecuted, I will never see it as justice.

Tossing somebody in the drink when they may still be alive is murder in my book.  Joran is NOT qualified to know if somebody was deceased or not.  I would never make such a call and I have had training.  He has had none and was a 17 yo drunk.

NO SLOOTS, NO JUSTICE in my opinion.
