This is just presumption and speculation, but can you imagine the trouble that Kyle was in when Shaefer and/or Silvetti found out he was divulging and discussing on a forum? Together these are a couple of powerful, tough, crusty and worldly wise men. At the very least, I speculate that they threatened that he would never work in his chosen field again if he didn't get on board, sotaspeak.....at the very least

Memphis yes, and that's why it angers me so.  Kyle was warned before the Persistence even arrived in Aruba that there were alot of two faced people on the internet and to be careful what and where he posts.  But Kyle was too smart for that.  He continues to be a member of yet another private site ChatnGrumble.  After everything that has happened you would think he'd learn to keep his mouth shut but I guess not.

Being where he is now running his mouth AGAIN is his attempt to fix it all, he was probably told to do that too.  Convince enough of them to disrupt the monkeys and get them off of our asses!  Not gonna happen!  JMO

In fact, in the confession tapes of Peter R de Vries Urine did say Daury Davens, not Rodriquez.

bastibro ... Joran did not mentioned Daury's last name in the video recording that was aired but ... maybe Joran's description of "Daury" identified Daury Rodriguez.  Nevertheless ... Joran's publist contacted Daury Rodriguez to warn him that he had been implicated by Joran.

Mystery Man in Holloway Case Comes Forward
Man Named As Accomplice By Van der Sloot Denies Involvement in Aruba Disappearance

By ELIZABETH VARGAS & CHRIS FRANCESCANI

Feb. 4, 2008

A 21-year old Aruban came forward Monday to say that he is the mystery man that Joran van der Sloot implicated on undercover tapes, but claims that he had nothing to do with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

Daury Rodriguez said he was contacted on Saturday by a frantic biographer of Van der Sloot's who, he said, warned him that his name was about to surface in the press as being the alleged accomplice who took Holloway's body out to sea in a boat and dumped it.

"She said, 'I got your number from Joran, because he said your name is going to show up in the press, but I know it's not true. It doesn't fit the story, so you've got to do something about it. You've got to give me proof [of his whereabouts in May 2005], so I can put it in the newspaper ... here in Holland."

PATRICK: What is his name?

JORAN: Daury

PATRICK: Daury what? Is he Dutch?

JORAN: Yes.  Half Dutch. Half Aruban.  Dutch Mother.

You better believe me Janet, He said Davens!

I am only going by the transcript but ... just asked hubby put in the tape that I recorded.

I cannot comprehend why Joran's publist contacted Daury Rodriguez and warned him that Joran had implicated him.

Janet

It`s not on that tape Janet, so ask your hubby to put it off
They did `peep`the name.

As I remember, the last name was "bleeped" out for our broadcast, but in reading Joran's lips, it was determined he could not have been saying "Rodriguez", and it did look more like "Davens".

Does anyone else remember it this way (or am I having another one of my "special moments"?)

I will be watching my recording of the Joran/Patrick tape in a few minutes ... I will try to read his lips.

HANS MOS IS LYING!

Kyle stated: "In my opinion that last pic from Jan 7th should be absolutely intriguing and flip your mind from what you thought you knew.
In case it isn't clear.. notice the blue denim-like fabric."

Kyle stated: "notice the blue fabric swayed in the current"

Kyle stated: "The blue tarp piece was found approx 6-10 ft away from the trap opening."

The blue tarp and blue fabric was confirmed by Richardson AND Hans Mos.

Kyle stated: "Remember, they each only confirmed one piece. One confirmed blue fabric, the other confirmed tarp. From the video you see both.

Kyle stated: "The most likely to remain at or near it's original location was the skull, which is why I was so convinced the object pictured was a skull."

Tim Miller was convinced it was a skull too.

That picture of the hermit crab put into the cage makes me sick.

huh why ?
that's what they told me ! i am not a biologist

Johan would do me a favor? My understanding is that after 3 years, there would most likely not be any of the skull left in the ocean if that had been Natalee. Can you ask the biologists their opinion? I would greatly appreciate it.

I also thought that it  was a skull  !! ask Klaas

I just thought if you had spoken to a marine biologist they might be able to shed some light as to what might have been in the cage 3 years later. I thought the only thing they could hope to find would be the clothing material, no bones, but I am not really sure of that.

It really was a legitimate question I was hoping they might answer for you. Didn't see anything humorous in asking and didn't think it required some of the sarcasm I received.

I will try and find the answer myself because any question I ask or post I make is met by hostility and sarcasm because I don't buy into the conspiracy theory.

Looks like I have reached "asshole"" status Klaas...just ban me.

I guess Hans Mos is saying ziplock bags were on Sale at Ling & sons so they paid Aruba ONLY DIVERs to dive on the location of the cage/trap that the Persistence located the remains and practice using ziplock bags.

When does the new guy step in, and will he be taking over the Holloway investigation? (I'm sick of Mos' face).

Doesn't matter...the new guy will be just like the rest. He will be well trained on the matter before stepping in Wink

I think Dolph Richardson (aka "Radio") was trying desperately to pick his nose during the press conference.  I am convinced of this.

If you don't believe me go to 24ora and watch him.  Closely.  My opinion, he should have excused himself for a moment to get that booger out with a kleenex!
