Just got back, have 2 video streams open and I see nothing happening. Someone please tell me what the court is waiting on?

Thank you!

Da sparkenator: Your flames are ready!

I believe they were waiting on the Judge to decide if Casey had to appear or not.  Now they're going to get her but they are going to begin anyway.  I'm a slow typer so you probably already figured it out!  LOL!

Thanks, lovinlife!

I got it tuned in now Smile

I know notice Conway is closer to state attorneys now or at least it looks that way. Maybe he is spying on their talk. They better write messages back and forth.

JB sure does protect his client..wow. Maybe she will have to come in.

where are you watching this??

I think it has been established - he's an attorney with his degree from a CrackerJack box. Amazing that they must have a nite law school in FL that would graduate this moron. Do they have a bar exam to practice in FL? If so, I would put my $ on Baez having paid someone to take it for him.

I think it was one of those deals where they gave out awards degrees.. even to the ones who suck.. just to make them feel good.  You know..  "best effort" and all.

IMHO Cin Cin did not do anything about Casey because it is hard as a mother to believe there is an issue with your child.  It is one of the hardest things in life for a mother and the only way thro it is to look to the one that has a life to build, not one that has already set the future.  Cin could have requested emergency custody of Caylee at any time.  This can be granted in 24 hours and does not require mom or child to be there.  She could have done this that first day or several days later when she wasn't able to talk to Caylee.  I know because I just had to do this in Oct and it is hard, really hard.  She needed to decide which life she was going to save and picked wrong.

I think you're right that she didn't do anything because she didn't want to believe Casey's problems are that bad. I don't think she was actually aware that she was "deciding which life to save."  I get the feeling they'd had arguments like this before, and nothing bad like this had happened to Caylee before, so she figured Casey would cool off in a day or two and come home, with Caylee.

I'm not sure that just being told "you'll never see Caylee again" is sufficient grounds for 24 hour emergency custody. Not letting a child see their grandparent, and not having a job, aren't grounds. There would have to be some more clear threat to the child's well-being. Attending a party when you're supposed to be working isn't sufficient either. She'd have had to have something pretty heavy, like an injury to Caylee or proof that Casey had left her somewhere and not checked on her for a long time.

Most CPS departments are so overworked that they'd rather not have to start a new file by taking a child away from his or her biological (or legal) mother.  As such, Fuzzball is quite correct in that Caylee would need to have actual visible injuries or bruises (or a witness to some form of less visible child abuse) to allow Cindy to get some form of emergency custody of Caylee.

A grandmother saying "she won't let me see my grandchild anymore" could just as easily be the mom keeping the child away from a molesting grandmother or grandfather.  Without any proof of something dire happening to the child in the mother's custody, CPS will not take the child away from the mother.

If you think this sucks, tell your state legislator to raise your taxes so that CPS departments can have the funding they need.

I feel differently about this.

If a child is sick, the Mom is the first to notice and want to find a way to heal/help that child, not enable the child to continue to be ill.

Typical Anthony behavior...................Nobody tells them what to do!

That is unfortunately their mantra and what led to the destruction of the life of one little girl who was beautiful inside and out.

What is all this talk about Casey being pregnant?

just speculation...  perhaps a reason why she doesn't want to show up in court.. who wants to be cooped up in a jail cell all day, when they could be out - even if it's in a court room?

Well considering that there are protestors who think Casey is Public Enemy #1, leaving the jail cell is taking her life in her hands.

Just being pregnant isn't enough of a reason, and she would want to be seen as pregnant by lots of people, so that the jury pool will be tainted altered affected by the sight of this obviously pregnant woman, an object for pity, not anger.
