Does anybody know if she gets to shower everyday?  I know some jails that only let the inmates shower a few times a week.....

If she only gets to shower a few times a week, and the day they came to get her wasn't a shower day, then no wonder she's running late: the alternative to a shower is a "cup of water and paper towel 'sponge bath'."  The deputies probably caught her during this much longer bathing process.

Was right about this one.  The question is why is Conway giving the impression that the A's are holding up the burial?  I don't see this as good PR for them.  Taking the public eye off KC, maybe?  Conway & Baez do seem to be talking.

I think it has been established - he's an attorney with his degree from a CrackerJack box. Amazing that they must have a nite law school in FL that would graduate this moron. Do they have a bar exam to practice in FL? If so, I would put my $ on Baez having paid someone to take it for him.

I went online thinking that Jose Baez couldn't be as bad as everyone thinks he is.

From a purely technical perspective I'm already running into "areas in need of work".  For starters, his website, http://www.baezlawfirm.com/.  Initially it looks pretty slick.  Then you try to click on some links, and everything is broken.  Lots of "404 Page Not Found" errors (translation: "broken link" or "forgot to create a page to be loaded for that link").  His personal information is a broken link, meaning the whole point of getting on the site (to verify his credentials) just won't happen.

I really hope that all that has happened is that he had a great website and someone just hacked it.  Competent people who don't know how to do their own websites hire competent website designers to do their websites for them.  Incompetent people generally hire incompetent web designers (like a brother-in-law who did a home page for his dog).

Now Conway is protecting the Anthonys interests in profiting off the photos in my very own opinion.  His line about once there out they can't be taken back struck me as part of the quest to be the first to profit.

just speculation...  perhaps a reason why she doesn't want to show up in court.. who wants to be cooped up in a jail cell all day, when they could be out - even if it's in a court room?

Well considering that there are protestors who think Casey is Public Enemy #1, leaving the jail cell is taking her life in her hands.

Just being pregnant isn't enough of a reason, and she would want to be seen as pregnant by lots of people, so that the jury pool will be tainted altered affected by the sight of this obviously pregnant woman, an object for pity, not anger.

I dunno.  In this particular case, I think the jury pool would be just as infuriated as everyone else to know she is pregnant.  Especially with all the 'bombshells' the prosecution will hurl their way during the trial.  JMO

Please remove all minds from the gutter.  Europeans did "sink sponge baths" for centuries without getting naked, and you can do most of a sponge bath yourself without removing much clothing.  It takes a long time, and its longer when you aren't naked, but you can give yourself a standing sponge bath.
