There is no way Cindy is involved in the death of Caylee. She's not complicit, she's a wreck.

I highly disagree.

Then say something which shows that Cindy was involved in the death of Caylee.

Nevertheless, Cindy IS guilty in raising her spawn in her own likeness.  That is her complicity if you want to know.  The only thing is that Casey was Cindy, but was able to take it to the next level whereas Cindy never could.  Unfortunately, the result of that nurturing success led to the demise of an innocent little girl.

So parents should be charged with complicity in the deaths of anyone their children murder?  Children have no free will?

I don't think I ever said anything about charges regarding complicity in death did I?

You said that Cindy "raising her spawn in her own likeness" is "her complicity" and that this "nurturing success led to the demise of an innocent little girl."  Or in other words, her complicity led to the demise of an innocent young girl.

If A leads to B then whomever causes A is complicit in B.  If "raising a child in your own likeness" leads to "the demise of an innocent young girl", then you are partly to blame for "the demise of an innocent young girl."

Cindy chose to ignore warning signs about her daughter's behavior and lack of interest in Caylee.  When Casey took off with Caylee to parts unknown to Cindy, she should have called the police immediately to report HER car as stolen.  But she never did.  She had avenues that she did not bother to explore.

Lisa

I totally agree with you. I can't say that Cindy could know Casey would murder Caylee, but I do believe she was aware that Casey was an unfit mother, and failed to exercise due diligence when Casey failed to return to the home with Caylee.

You're reaching here.  If Caylee hadn't ended up dead, Cindy was merely being a nice mother who lent her poverty-stricken daughter a car, and a mother who who allowed her own children to have freedom to raise their own children as they saw fit.  A traditional warning sign would have been Casey taking off with the car and leaving Caylee behind, since avoiding your own kids tends to be taken as a sign you don't like them very much.

There are enough bad things about Cindy without having to invent any new ones.

No one has to invent anything about cin-cin...the woman is a failure....she failed her daughter who was certainly NOT poverty stricken  as mommie dearest paid for everything including the money HR daughter stole from others and being a nice mommy is not being a parent who closes his/hers eyes to the actions of their children. who are clearly on the wrong path.....a path carved by the parent themself! and she failed  Caylee by not getting professional help for casey.......had she, Caylee might still be alive.

Dont know how to explain it in legal terms, Sunny.  Baez got up to introduce himself to the judge and the judge told him that if he was gonna talk about something other than the deposition to sit down.  Something like that.

thanks....looks like the judge was onto BJ's antics and wasn't going to give him the opportunity.

That is not Rick. I am pretty sure.  She does have another brother though I think.
Her brothers are Rick, Dan, &  Gary.  I've always thought the picture was a brother, especially when you see all the pictures.
I can only speak for myself, but I don't believe I would hug a sibling like "that".

Frankly, the way Lee and George address Casey is quite odd at times too.  Maybe the whole family is a peculiarly close coming from Cindy's side if you know what I mean.  Generations of it.

Casey Anthony Not Required To Give Deposition
Judge To Consider Releasing Photos Of Remains

POSTED: 6:15 am EST January 8, 2009
UPDATED: 12:08 pm EST January 8, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A judge agree on Thursday that Casey Anthony does not have to give a deposition in a civil lawsuit.

He did, however, say that attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez can ask Anthony questions in writing.

Another hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. involving the criminal case about is being held to argue about a set of motions filed in the case. One motion involves the release of images of Caylee Anthony's remains to the defense. (Come back to WESH.com at 1:30 p.m. to watch live.) (Defense Motions In Casey Anthony Case (Defense Motions In Casey Anthony Case)

Casey Anthony is accused of murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee, who disappeared over the summer. The toddler's body was found in a wooded area near her home in December.

During the civil hearing this morning, attorneys debated whether Anthony would be required to complete a deposition from jail in the Zenaida Gonzalez case.

Gonzalez said in a lawsuit that Anthony ruined her name when she told detectives that a woman with that name took Caylee. Her attorneys wanted the deposition delayed until after her criminal trial, which is scheduled to begin in March.

Instead, the judge said attorneys could ask questions in writing. Anthony’s attorneys could then object, setting up future hearings over those objections.

Anthony is being held on no bond in Orange County Jail.

Attorney Brad Conway, the attorney representing Caylee's grandparents, said the toddler's funeral has been put on hold for now. He said it is important to George and Cindy Anthony to support the state's motion to limit what Casey Anthony's defense team can do with photos of the remains.

"The Anthonys do not want these photographs released to anybody who doesn't need to see them. Right now, the only people who need to see them are the state attorneys, the (medical examiner's) office and the defense," Conway said.

Conway met with the lead investigators and prosecutors in the case against Casey Anthony to make sure they're aware that the family does not want photos and X-rays of the remains exploited in any way.

Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, will argue the state's motion in court on Thursday. He wrote about the defense's stance in a response to the state's motion.

"It would create an undue and unheard-of burden upon the defense," Baez said in a written response.

Investigators also commented on the status of their case.

"Everything is going in a good direction, so we're happy with the way things are proceeding," FBI representative Nick Savage said.

Stay with WESH 2 News and WESH.com for further details.

I think Conway is trying to backtrack from the obvious backlash.  A little PR move.  I think they want immunity to continue the gravy train and the delays are so they can avoid indictments or arrests.

They have 1.7 million reasons if it is true that lifetime has tabled the offer to make sure they are not arrested.  They need immunity.

Well, they're not gonna get it, and they need to make peace with that fact.

I believe the 911 call she made to report the car stolen was the beginning of the cover up and deception as they had possession of the car at that time. Knowing what the smell in the car was (decomp), she had to figure out then that their precious daughter was involved in something very wrong. Perfect time to start with the stolen car report to shift the blame of a body in the trunk to whomever would have stolen the car and abandoned it. JMO

Did Cindy know where KC was when they went and got the car from the wrecker service?

Confused

The story appears to be one of soft porn until you get to the end of it and realize it's not what it initially appeared to be.

Thanks.  Still don't understand the purpose, but moving on LMAO

I think you oughta give up while you are behind.  Smile

I am not playing mental aerobics and gymnastics with someone today.  The gym is closed and school is on break.  There are other cat toys one can play with.  Metaphors are hard for people to grasp and it takes a good long week of schooling to "get it".  Even for the youngins.

No, not at that time. She had to have AH take her to her since AH had dropped KC off at AL's place after being picked up at the airport.

My twin brother and I were very close, he passed away from cancer 3 years ago.....we lived in different states and when we saw each other we hugged very similar to this...it was as if we were both whole again....he also called me his little Darlin'....so as much as I would love to say this looks improper if it is her brother....I can't.
