I would not put anything past anyone involved in this case now.  But, why would the family or her lawyers want the body to be found?  If the body had not been found, Baez's case would have been simple : Caylee is out there alive and will come home one day.  There is no proof Caylee is dead.  That is what he and the family were saying over and over again...UNTIL the body was found.  Then the family went into seclusion and Baez had to change horses in midstream.  Without the body, it would have been harder to convict Casey of murder or aggravated child abuse or anything regarding Caylee except not reporting her missing.  But with the body, it is going to be much easier to convict her, I think.  So why would the parents and Baez want the body found?

Perhaps these men have acted on their own behind the backs of Baez or the Anthonys as they just grew disgusted over time ? I may be mistaken, but didn't D. Casey quit in October ? [ You make a good point regarding Baez and his odds in court sans the body. ]

I don't think Baez or Grandparents wanted a body found...I don't think Casey has told Baez or Grandparents the truth. Lee maybe.
I think Casey may have wanted Caylee found so that she could continue her charade of someone else did it.

KC wanted the body found while she was behind bars for the obvious reasons....someone else did it...dont know where that place is and so on....

Okay, JSM is so confused. I know the Ants have lived in the neighborhood for 20 years, but how long have this Zenaida and Mr Gonzales lived on the street? I grew up on a long street like that and didn't know anyone except a few friends that lived on my street.

Does anyone know if there are any searches on KC's computer looking for names/addresses on her street. TIA JSM.

So Caylee was found in the (basically) backyard of homeowner ZENAIDA GONZALES????  It was always a game and still is to KC.  She "thinks" she is smarter than everyone and will get off and walk away to go back to her slore, worthless life.  Just without her child that she murdered.

I find it amazing to read these posts and see how other's interpret some of the ...clues...or ...tips... she was giving out.  I am in no way saying that I don't agree with them...it just fascinates me that there were connections, yet she was charged on her own stupidity.

Now when we evaluate what she said, sounds so easy, yet it took a meter reader to find her.  All of the cell phone pings, LE, LP, FBI, searchers too numerous to mention all came up empty handed....even though the clues/tips were thrown out there.  I must add all of the bloggers on numerous forums that were and still are....trying to put some thoughts into this.

We all know that C&G dearly loved their daughter, just as all of us do ours.  Now we can see what became of the overly love that they tried to hover over her....not letting her become an adult and accept responsibility for her own actions. 

I can remember as a little girl, we did not have lots....and once my children came along, I wanted them to have way more than I ever did.  Yes, they had lots, but also had to contribute, in household ways and respect to get all of those nice things.

Guess we all have gone thru a lesson here, learning from other's mistakes and the consequences it brought.  So sorry that sweet and innocent little Caylee had to suffer and be the fall for all of this.

Whoever or if there are other's....I do hope to heck, that they are all held responsible whether it was cover-up, lying, falsifying info.

I believe if the car had been 'stolen' rather than towed we might have never heard about a little girl in Florida gone missing. Casey didn't just show up at her parent's house, Cindy tracked her down with Amy's help. I think Casey was planning to make it look like both of them just disappeared. Her wallet was in her car, just sitting right there! If she disappears she gets rid of Caylee and her parents. Remember the frantic texts to the guy in California, "I have something  I need to tell you and you are not going to like it?" Of course, this meant, "Send me a ticket and I will come out and tell you and just never go back home. "Because I am sure you will buy all of the BS I am about to feed you, etc. You know? Maybe she was going to be "Zenaida Gonzales" maybe this was going to be her new identity. She did name searches for her a few months before Caylee went missing. Beyond that, she had Caylee into something bad. And yes, she needed the body to decompose to get rid of any 'evidence' (sexual abuse) and she needed the body to be found so that she could say, look "it was the nanny." I do think she thought she was smarter than everyone. She already gave clues to the detectives when she told them Caylee called and talked about her book. She was setting it up for when they found the body. She knew the book was there, she put it there when she put Caylee there. JMO.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- WFTV's legal analyst has seen a mystery video showing a private investigator for the Anthony family talking on the phone and digging with a shovel at the scene where Caylee's body was later found. That private investigator was caught on camera, but until Bill Sheaffer had a chance to view it, few details were known about what the video showed.

"He was digging in the soil. He had a probe that he was probing in the soil. He was also picking up items at the crime scene and tossing them aside," WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer told Eyewitness News on Friday.

Sheaffer said the Anthonys' private investigator, Dominic Casey, picked up what appeared to be a blanket at the scene and tossed it aside and that it did not appear Mr. Casey and his colleague, private eye Jim Hoover, who was behind the camera, were doing a random search.

Sheaffer said Mr. Casey appeared to be focused on areas where there was a configuration of stones or concrete pavers, not just at the crime scene, but also at what appeared to be an abandoned back yard where Mr. Casey was actually digging.

"Mr. Casey was digging in the area, actually digging with a garden shovel, in an area where it appeared to be a black plastic bag sticking out of the earth," Sheaffer said.

Sheaffer said it was obvious Mr. Casey knew the camera was rolling because he was actually directing Mr. Hoover on where to shoot.

Sheaffer said, back at the scene the second day, Mr. Casey was probing the ground with a metal rod and not just superficially but deeply enough that he could have destroyed evidence.

"It was a metal probe and if he hit the skull or the bones of that skeletal remains he could have fractured it, he could have otherwise altered it and it would have thrown the whole forensic examination of the bones off," he said.

Questions remain about who Mr. Casey was talking to at the scene on the phone and who told him where to look and what to look for.

Remember when we all saw that strange item sticking out of a bag being taken out of the ANthonys' home -- it was long and coiled and metal -- and we wondered if it was a hose of some type? This woman on the WS site, around the same time, said that her husband was a detective and that was A PROBE FOR HUMAN DNA evidence or something to that effect!!! Let me find it. Could George Anthony, a former cop, have provided the PIs with that item in order to find Caylee's body? And is that why they're so worried about immunity????

Do you remember how, when the reports of the remains first came out, they AT FIRST said there was something on the SKULL ITSELF that linked directly back to the Anthony home? I wonder if D. Casey caused damage to the skull with this probe that came directly from the Anthony home. Dr. G specifically said that there was no ANTEMORTEM injury to the bones, but she did NOT say that there was no POSTMORTEM injury to the bones.

I think they were looking for the body to be certain it was still there, and they assumed that the SEARCH WAS OVER. TES had already stated by that point that the body would likely not be found. Once the Ants determined no one was looking anymore, they went to look themselves, found it, and said, I guess we're home-free. Then they went on a national "Caylee Is ALIVE" campaign, not knowing that there was someone out there STILL searching for Caylee, and that person was KRONK!

I remember the discussion of this item on WS.   If this item was located in the A home and found during the search warrant, and was the item used by DCasey - they are in BIG TROUBLE!
