Western, i saw your post earlier about having a one juror hold-out. Just wanted you to know that's not possible in Florida as only a majority decision is required; not unanimous.

I've been wondering why LE from out of the country would be involved also, I tend to think there is a possiblility of pornography also, those 1200 pictures keep coming up, there has to be something there, I could see if there was a handful of pics of Casey in compromising positions, but 1200? There is something more going on.

Hi Boo and Trimonthelake,

It is a bit harder to decipher Lee because he hasn't put himself 'out there' in the media like George and Cindy. Here is what I think and again, it is only my speculation from the limited things I have seen.

Even though Lee lived very close to the Anthony home, I do not feel he was a son who spent a lot of his time there. He was close enough if they needed something but had his own life. He definitely has a very odd demeanor. George claims he is the level headed one but as everyone knows, he chuckles regarding the smell of death in the car. Of course we are thinking, why would you be chuckling when you know Caylee is missing? He mentions to the detectives that Casey said, Well maybe I am a spiteful bitch. That conversation seems to be incriminating to Casey. There is a point when he is talking to Casey in jail about her Blackjack phone, even he starts to say, Ok, I am confused...because her story about the SIM cards doesn't add up.

Now that they have said it looks like Casey acted alone, we can assume his fingerprints were not on the duct tape. However, I think that Lee (by doing his own investigation) was the one who passed the information from the priest to Dominic Casey. Casey did not allow any visits from Lee after a certain point and since all jail communication is monitored (letters) I doubt he would have gotten it from Casey directly. It doesn't look like Baez has a good relationship with George or Cindy or Lee so it's hard to believe it came from him. After the body was found, Casey denied the priests visit. Why? Casey's behavior is like a 10 year old, when she feels someone has wronged her, she stomps off and slams the door, making herself in control of the situation. We've seen this throughout the case. Why would she deny the priest's visit unless she feels 'wronged' by him in some way? She doesn't like people she cannot control. Perhaps while keeping her guilt confidential, he (the priest) could not handle the thought of this little angel being out in those woods. Perhaps he told Lee and then Lee told the investigators and this is why Dominic Casey was out there. This would still protect Casey and at the same time give Caylee peace.

I think Lee has been the 'protective brother' because he knows Casey has these limitations, ie, stealing money, lying, etc. I'm sure while they were in HS, he covered for her to avoid her getting into trouble with Cindy. Because she has always been this way, they have always been subject to placating her.

Lee's hair has gone from dark brown to grey which leads me to believe he has been under a lot of stress. He recently moved in with George and Cindy and it shows to me that he is the obligated son. I do not think he enjoys being there one bit as it a constant reminder of Caylee and he wanted to distance himself, now he can't do that.

As far as the DNA and lie detector tests go, I think he is suspect of the OSCO. Cindy has made it clear that they have been victims of the OSCO. In the beginning he seemed co-operative but since then, he has been resistant on any compliance issue. Of course this makes him look guilty. If the Anthony family believed the OSCO were trying to frame Casey, maybe he also felt that giving up any information would be twisted to their liking. Or maybe he just wanted to be compelled to do it.

This entire thing has become about protecting Casey. Who in this family is protecting Caylee? Casey has made them all feel bad for her. I don't know if this applies to Lee as it does to George and Cindy as we haven't seen much verbosity out of him. During the initial jail calls, she seems to be giddy, almost flirtatious with him. Do I think Lee is the father? Possibly, 75% chance. Casey told Jesse she was molested by George and Lee. While incest is prevalent in our society, just rarely spoken (or even counseled) about, to have it run with both males in a single family is harder to believe, even though the many PORN sites would have us think differently. I would believe that Casey is the one who tried to have a sexual relationship with Lee rather than the other way around. Keep in mind, Casey says things to get her what she wants at that moment. She wanted sympathy from Jesse when she disclosed this information to him. She will say or do whatever she needs to do to get her way.

I think Lee is smart, maybe the smartest one of the Anthonys. Distancing himself was his way of coping. Everyone has different coping mechanisms and while distancing may not be what we do, keep in mind, some people do. In general people want to believe the bad in someone rather than the good. Why? The "good" is boring. The "bad" is much more juicy.

Bottom line, Lee is frustrated. He has to be the parents of George and Cindy now from a financial perspective, how does he repair his life? From what I've read and see, I think Lee's involvement is limited to the passing of the clues to where the body was and being a pawn of Casey.

It doesn't seem like the Anthonys understand that by protecting Casey, they are dis-honoring Caylee. Why this isn't apparent to them is a huge disconnect in this case. This has invited speculation and abomination into their lives. Unfortuately, they have made their choices on where their loyalties lie. Actions speak louder than words. This is a phrase I tell everyone I counsel. Look at the actions. The actions should support the words. When they do not, something is WRONG.

On another note: I also wanted to say this....and I believe this is quoting a line from the movie, ONE HOUR PHOTO....Robin William's character says (paraphrasing here), "If aliens were to come down and look at our photos, they would think we lived this amazing life, one without pain or problems, always happy, always celebrating." This is what the photos of the Anthony family have been. This is why it is so hard to believe Casey is capable of murdering her little girl. We have to stop and remember that this family probably suffered from the same issues we all deal with in life, perhaps much darker, sinister and complicated.e

I've been reading what the legal analyst who saw the PI video is saying about the video, what stuck out was D Casey picked up what appeared to be a blanket and tossed it aside. The configuration of pavers or concrete blocks is interesting, maybe Casey put the pavers or blocks to make it look like a shamrock.

I wondered why Australian LE would be involved in a Florida murder case. It’s a ghastly case to be sure, but ‘american slut murders her baby’ wouldn’t normally merit international LE involvement. And then I found this…

With Desdemona’s help, I found this transcript.  It mentions the 1,200 pictures that Sergeant John Allen refers to when interviewing George on July 24th 2008.  This is the same interview that made George so ill he left the room and vomited. These pictures have not been released to the media/public.

I have not been able to find another source that reports the presence of a Sex Crime unit at the Anthony’s home. But I’m sure that’s a reflection of my ability to research and not a problem with luckycharmsprincess' memory.

So, taking all that information into consideration, I believe that while investigating Caylee’s murder, LE found a connection to child pornography.  And is investigating this as a separate case from the murder.     

Anybody else have any thoughts about this? I would be happy to be wrong.

Brachiate  your post is the best one I have read in awhile.  I totally agree with you. Casey HAD to be SOMEWHERE all day doing stuff.  She often uses "work" as an excuse.  Caylee was supposedly often with this imaginary baby sitter, so maybe she was with Casey the whole time in some sort of child porn scandal.  Also the porn links on the Anthony home computer might figure into this.

  Maybe the sex crimes unit showed up to the Anthony home once LE figured out Caylee's paternity.
