I must be invisible tonight.
Hi Sassy I see you. My computer is SLLLOOOWWW

I know this is OT but what is Joe looking at in your avatar?  He is sooooo cute. He is the only dog I know who goes to doggie day care.  I'm a stay at home doggie mom.  Just to make this legit, I thought Casey looked like they had awakened her to bring her into court.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The defense and the prosecution have reached a compromise regarding the more than 800 photos of Caylee Anthony’s remains.

At the beginning of the hearing the prosecution asked that Casey Anthony be brought to the courtroom to verbally confirm that she was aware of her right to attend hearings but chose to waive it.

Judge Stan Strickland agreed and Anthony was brought in well after the hearing began. It was Anthony’s first court appearance since her indictment in October.

Anthony provided clear responses to Strickland’s question but otherwise remained quiet throughout the hearing.

The defense team for Anthony requested access to photos of the crime scene where Caylee’s remains were found as well as autopsy photos, but the prosecution argued that they did not want to risk the photos being leaked to media outlets.

The prosecution said the photos of Caylee’s skull are specifically disturbing

Strickland ruled that the photos will be stored on a password-protected database, which the defense team will have access to. The plan was proposed by defense attorney Jose Baez.

Baez and his team will have to sign an affidavit swearing that the photos will not be reproduced.

Baez said that neither he nor his experts wanted the images to be sold or published.

"I have a general feeling here no matter what we do it’s going to happen," Strickland said about the publication of the photos.

Good night all!  I don't know when I will be able to get on here tomorrow since my granddaughter will be here until the afternoon.  I will try to watch HLN between Dora and Mickey Mouse.

SoCal, I didn't mean to be OT, but I was shaken up, so to speak.

A moderate earthquake occurred at 7:49:46 PM (PST) on Thursday, January 8, 2009.
The magnitude 5.0 event occurred 2 km (1 miles) S of San Bernardino, CA.
The hypocentral depth is 14 km ( 9 miles).

Sorry for the OT, was moderate, but you never know how strong the epicenter was.

At the hearing, Baez presented 18 motions, all seeking more evidence from the prosecution.

One request was for the fingerprints of George and Cindy Anthony. Baez admitted it's among the many things he got that he may never use in court.

"Law enforcement has it,” Baez said. “It has nothing to do with any aspect of the case except I want every single thing relevant to this case that law enforcement has. As you can see I didn't push any time. I just want to know."

Judge Strickland ruled Baez has to use the same password protected system used by the medical examiner to keep the photos private.

Also, the judge ruled the defense can obtain the unedited 911 calls from meter reader Roy Kronk.

Sick thought..

Baez is creating a database on his office computer, where the other attorneys and various specialists/scientists on the defense team, can access them.  He cannot reproduce or distribute the photos in any way, but what is to stop somebody from hacking into his computer and spreading these images all over the internet?

I think a so called "secure" database will be hacked pretty quickly because the money to be gained from the hacking will make it worthwhile.

BTW, cutie, forgot to give you din din so here it is a little late.

One more thing:  I have to laugh when Michelle Bart said the Anthonys are honest people.  GMAFB.  Huge diff between HONEST and being BLUNT.

I agree~just saw him on Greta and it just kills me to see such a compassionate and determined man thrown under the bus. He did the right thing by calling off the search IMO, if the 4 wheelers had pushed her little body in the muck she may have never been found No good deed goes unpunished........damn shame!

Haha, I knew she looked different, I guess im not that great of a detective, I didn't realize she wore contacts, although I did know she needed glassers!

O/T and FYI

I'm probably closer to the epicenter than Shell and I didn't feel a thing.  I feel cheated.  Seriously though a 5.0 really isn't that big.
