Good Mornin'
Thanks Monkeys for your opinions!  YOu all are a smart BUNCH!

Dolce
Thanks for your thoughtful post!  It put much into perspective for me as I am here in California.  It's much different terrain out there in Florida.  It seems very challenging at times...thinking of both Haleigh and Adji's addresses.  Heck, even Caylee's for that matter.

Nut
Thanks for bumping the map...
That helped a lot!!!!

Wish I had something more to contribute but I just don't know what happened to this innocent little boy!!!
I will say that I have been put off by Nancy Grace recently.  It seems like she is overly preoccupied with Caylee's case.  Don't get me wrong, I follow Caylee's case close... very closely...
But at this point, KC is not going any where soon.  We have time to hear stories about her when news is truly "Breaking".
It saddens me to see her no longer focus on Adji, Haleigh, and now Sandra.
What's her deal?  I used to love to watch Nancy.  But now she seems often really snarky instead of a tiger going for the facts.  Any Monkey know what I mean?
Sorry if this off topic, guys!

Thanks Nutt.  As you can see SR29 (State Road 29), which Adji's neighborhood is off of, runs up the center of Florida, or can lead you in either direction to the I-75 (interstate 75).  Adji was last seen playing with his friends just about 50 feet short of the bridge going over the low flowing canal at the exit of the neighborhood.  A little girl playing that day with the group of children told the authorities that she last saw Adji walking away from the group and towards that bridge, she never saw him again after that.  All the other children have commented that at one moment he was there, and the next he was gone.

On the map, where was he last seen?  I don't see a bridge, do you mind saying what street? also, what can you say about his disability? Do yo know what he is diagnosed with. Does this disability make it more likely he would wander off? Did he like animals? Such as if he saw a cat or do or whatever he would go to it?
Did he go to school? did he take a bus to and from school? If so, has the aides, teacher, bus drivers, therapists, doctors etc.. all been questioned? Children with disabilities are targets for pedophiles for obvious reasons. Can you share how his condition may have altered the investigation?
Sorry for all of the questions, I hope you don't mind.

I posted several photos of the area, have snipped most of them out in order to show the bridge and location of the neighborhood on the road.

Tracygirl - I posted for you photos that I had taken back in January.

To answer some of your questions please see below:

Adji is of Haitian decent, he understands when someone speaks to him in creole and in english, but he does not speak back, his vocabulary is very limited.  He knows his name and will come when called, he responds mostly with hand and head gestures such as nodding.  He has the mentality of a 2 year old child, and he scared easily.  (This is why I do not see him running off either)

He was in school and when not in school he stayed with his Grandmother while his Mother and Stepfather worked.

LE has looked into all known offenders within the area, searched houses as soon as the alert was sent out about Adji, searched vehicles...all this started within a matter of 45 mins of his known disappearance.

According to his mother, Adji was not one to wander off on his own.  He is very shy and timmid, keeps to what he knows.  He plays with the same group of friends daily, and he only ventured to play in the woods if his older cousins were with him.  It was not his nature to just wander off.  They do not have any pets, so I am not sure about his animal curiosity.

According to Marie he was too scared to ride his bicycle, even though it had the training wheels on it, he always needed either her or his stepfather to hold onto him and not let go.  He enjoys sports and games with lots of energy.

Hope that helps.  I do not live in Immokalee, I live in Naples.  My father is LE and him along with my husband and brother-in-law worked to search for Adji, and my father has been working with LE in his search since.

Thank you so much for posting the pics and responding to me. so it seems if he was easily scared by the unknown and it is unlikely he would not wonder off, do you think he could have been leared by someone he knew?

I am not sure of what services he was receiving,  Should have been everything that all other kids with disabilities receive. If so, this would include therapists such as speach, OT and Pt, teachers, special ed aides and/or paraprofessionals, bus drivers. Do you know if these people have been questioned and cleared? I am sure everyone has already thought of it, but thought I would throw it out anyway.

water, brown water! Subconscious now taking me to Immokalee, Florida to find Adji Desir! Man involved with missing child is elderly African American man. A lot of gray in his hair & mustache. I hear doorbell & saw this old man enticing child into his home. Man was motioning for little boy to come to him, he was smiling. There is a picture in this man’s house of him in military uniform. He’s facing camera on the right, standing, & woman is on his left standing. Looks like old army uniform. Lives close by Adji. Going to e-mail sheriff on case.

My Psychic Information differs from what I read posted above and so we will just have to wait and see what proves to be correct, but my psychic information says the little boy was killed by an aligator.

what traces if any could be found this long after he disappeared I am not sure but I believe this information has as much value as any posted by anyone else.

I do not travel to these locations I just sit here in my home in Ohio and the information flows to me from a place I know as the Akaskic Records higher up in the spirit World.

To point to other kinds of information I have received as a Psychic on the day that Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman were killed I immediately meditated on the story and saw O.J. going over the fence at Nicoles home wearing the balck shirt and he wore black gloves then I saw him his face filled with fury a knive in right gloved hand and he was looking down in fury at his victims.

In the Laci peterson Case the day she came up missing I meditated on the case and saw her husband kill her then take her and dump her lifeless body in the bay.

  Those are just a few.
If there aligators near where the little boy disappeared then I think its a great possibility that my psychic information is correct.

I feel I need to post this so resources are not wasted trying to find a little boy who is no longer of this world.

He is a beautiful little boy and I am sorry to have to write these things and I mean only to help.

I was not going to comment on this one, in fact I walked away from the computer and then came back to it a few times.

I find your information to be misleading and misinformation.  How dare you insinuate that just because you, one false "prophet", believes him to have been killed by an alligator that everyone should stop their search.  There is a family who's heart is broken, who's life has been destroyed, who lives each day one moment at a time each filled with hope for just a piece of real, true information on their missing child.  You should be ashamed of yourself.

I have nothing against psychics or those claiming to be intouch with other types of out of this world things, but you have crossed a line with your last post.

As for your claim of an alligator, I will direct you to check out the geographical location of his last known whereabouts and read up on what was found by LE and FFWL personnel.

Your claims of knowing things in these other cases, well sorry I am not going to take you on your "word" since you are producing after the fact details that have already emerged in these cases and are common knowledge and belief.

Sorry for the rant mods, but I am physically sick after seeing what this person has posted.

I am with you on this. what a terrible and twisted thing to post. I do not understand how someone could post such a thing. What is wrong with people.

Muffy, thank you for bumping those photos.. I hope that poster seen those tears on Adji's Grammas cheeks and felt like total crap...

Hoping for news on Adji soon...Praying for Adji and his family.

I just wanted to say that Adji was mentioned in an interview about Haleigh Cummings. Cobra states that he believes a truck driver picked up little Adji, I'm not sure where he got this information, but he says that he was there looking for Adji.

It is possible.  I have stated this before on several occassions that where Adji's neighborhood is located is off a road that is frequented by truckers who take the rural rout for a faster less conjested commute.  Many fly through there daily for transporting of the produce from the farms within and around Immokalee, and others pass through wishing to stop at the casino.  You really would not be on that road unless you lived off of it or had business being on it as it serves really no other purpose.  It does not lead to a mall or the beach, it serves as an easy passage up the state with the ability to stop at the smaller cities avoiding the conjested coastal lines.

‘Missing' Black Males Missing From Media Coverage

NNPA, News Report, Diasia Ellerbee, Posted: May 11, 2009 Review it on NewsTrust
<snip>
Black men and boys such as William Van Croft IV, 17, Wallace Richards, 23, Dennis Palmer, 44, and Adji Desir, 6, are missing and have not received national media attention as other missing persons such as Laci Peterson, Elizabeth Smart, or Haleigh Cummings. White women usually get more attention than men of all races when they are missing.

Blackandmissing.blogspot.com is an online site dedicated to informing the public about missing Black children who may or may not have been reported on in the media.

According to blackandmissing.blogspot.com, Adji Desir is a boy who has been missing since Jan. 10 from Immokalee, Fla. The youth has the mental capacity of a two-year-old and is developmentally disabled.

If you put both their names in Yahoo's search engine, Adji Desir's name will produce 478,000 results. A search for Haleigh Cummings, a five-year-old White girl, will produce 4.4 million results, nearly 10 times the number of hits logged for the Black boy.

Both children went missing around the same time and in the same state.

Derrica Wilson is president and CEO of the Black & Missing Foundation, Inc., which has an online website that provides exposure and educational training for the loved ones of missing persons.

Ms. Wilson believes Black male disappearances are more likely to be labeled runaways. Black men on her website never receive national attention and are never seen on television, she said.

“Therefore there is no Amber Alert and without an Amber Alert there is no media coverage locally or nationally,” said Ms. Wilson. “Now when it comes to Black men, there are more missing Black men in the United States than missing Black women, according to the FBI missing person's report. The reason I believe that Black men do not receive media exposure is because society, media, and law enforcement like to relate their disappearance to drugs, crime, or violence.”

Missing children activist and founder of the website Omega7.com Alonzo Washington agrees Black men and boys get the least amount of media attention for missing persons.

The only Black males that receive coverage are those of high stature, according to Mr. Washington.

“If you're grown, a man, and Black, then you can forget about it,” Mr. Washington said. “Young Black boys may get a little teaser, but never an ongoing investigation like Caylee Anthony, Elizabeth Smart or Samantha Runnion.”

“The mindset of the media is that if it bleeds it leads,” said Det. Richard Adams of the Youth Investigation Division Missing Person Unit in the District of Columbia. “Media wants something sensational. They have to have something fantastic and that's going to catch the viewer's eye. It's all about numbers and ratings to them.”

William Van Croft IV has been missing from the District of Columbia since January 31, 2009. He has Asperger's Syndrome and went missing a year after the death of his father.

According to Jason Cherkis, who writes an online blog for the Washington City Paper, the D.C. police department waited until Feb. 11 to issue a press release about his disappearance.

In his blog, he cited a comment by Cherita Whiting that speculated about indifference in the Van Croft case. Ms. Whiting is a activist for education in the D.C. metropolitan area.

“Billy's mother filed a missing person report with D.C. Youth Investigations on Jan. 31,” Ms. Whiting said. “It sat on a desk somewhere and they just started investigating this case on 2/10. I have sent multiple messages to the at-large council members and every police officer that I can find who is associated with Ward 1 Precinct 107.

“It would make sense that a missing person, especially a special needs teenager could get the attention of the police and public officials to at least have the police issue a press release that the child is missing. This has not been done. When the press release occurs, the media responds and starts spreading the word that Billy is missing.”

“When it comes to the area you live in, your color, and gender, the more unlikely the police will be in finding you and the less the media will cover you,” Mr. Washington said. “Even when Jennifer Hudson's nephew was missing, her story took the backseat to the Caylee Anthony story. They covered it for a minute, and now it's like it didn't happen.”

According to Det. Adams, every police department has its own way of handling a missing person's case.

Tim Ryan is an assistant news director for KUSA, a local NBC station in Denver, Colo. Ryan said that in almost every case, it's about law enforcement decisions about the importance of the case. He believes the media needs some sort of standard for stories that outlets report on.

“There are certain reasons why stories get played or not. I can't tell you if race does play a role. There are cases that we covered of all races that hasn't received national media coverage. Things that make national news are whimsical. I think it is important to state that local media does not make those choices.”

Martin G. Reynolds is the editor of the Oakland Tribune in California. Mr. Reynolds said the Tribune doesn't necessarily have a reporter dedicated to missing children and disappearances have to come across the radar to be reported on.

When told about the number of missing Black males, Mr. Reynolds said: “They get less positive attention. … There is plenty negative attention. We were not aware that there was such a large number particularly in African American children. It was something I wasn't aware of, but something I will look into.”

Reporter Kathy Chaney of the Chicago Defender believes Black males do get far less national media coverage, which leads to families looking for other media outlets such as TV shows, like Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, or the Steve Wilkos Show, for publicity.

Ms. Chaney said when the Defender was daily, children reported missing would often be found the same day that their missing person story was printed.

“I think they (Black males) get far less coverage,” said Ms. Chaney. “I think it's because they are boys. It's just not reported of teenage boys running away. I don't think that anyone suspects them of running away or missing. You think of foul play immediately.”

Adji Desir and William Van Croft IV, however, are still missing and their stories need to be heard.

Here is a story about the poor young man with Aspergers/autism and how he became missing. There is no pic of him anywhere. I am emailing this story around to my contacts in the autism world. I had not heard of this story.

We drove up there this weekend to show some family members who were visiting the casino.  We drove by the entrance to Adji's neighborhood, and I was saddened to see that the memorial of posters and balloons for Adji had all been taken down.  His missing person's poster still hangs on the doors of convenience stores through our county, but the memorial is gone.
