Poor little angel is right!  I look here everyday for news, but nothing.

Is searching continuing for Adji I wonder.  It's just too sad.

TALLAHASSEE - A statewide effort to crack down on child pornography has resulted in 77 arrests of individuals across the state – more than half of which occurred in Polk County.

John Walsh, host "America's Most Wanted" joined Gov. Charlie Crist and Attorney General Bill McCollum in Tallahassee today to announce the results of "Operation Orange Tree," a 10-week, multi-agency effort in which law enforcement executed 90 search warrants and seized thousands of photos and videos.

"This is an historic day," said Walsh, who became an anti-crime activist and launched his television show after the 1981 murder of his six-year-old son Adam in Hollywood, Fla. "I feel like the work of 27 years has come to fruition on this historic day."

Individuals arrested ranged from ages 17 to 83, including two who were already registered as sex offenders. The operation took place mostly from mid-March through May, with the most recent arrest occurring this morning in Leon County.

"More arrests are expected shortly," Crist said. "Most importantly, five of Florida's precious children were rescued out of this despicable activity."

Twenty-three agencies took part in the effort – including the Polk County Sheriff's Office, which made 45 of the arrests. Crist and McCollum lauded Polk Sheriff Grady Judd in particular for marshalling the resources to make the crack down on child pornography a high priority.

The high-profile press event took an overtly political turn when Walsh took the opportunity to endorse Gov. Charlie Crist in the race for U.S. Senate. He likewise endorsed McCollum for governor, "to pick up the mantle and take up where Charlie has left off."

Florida ranks 4th in the nation in volume of child pornography, according to the Federal Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Crist established the state's Child Predator/CyberCrime Unit in 2005 when he was Attorney General; the unit now has 30 members and five offices statewide, including in Tampa.

Still praying for this precious child, and for his family.

I think of Adji every single day. This case is haunting me, and I can see his grandmother's face in my dreams. I just feel so bad for the family, and I am so scared for Adji....his sweet little face.

I'm wondering if we could designate a time for a prayer session for him.  It doesn't have to be a 24 hour thing, like we've done before, but maybe we could just pick a certain time. Everyone could have a moment of silence and pray for a resolution for this family who is in such agony, and for Adji to find his way home.

ATTENTION!  ATTENTION!  ATTENTION!
Please read this article.  It is something that only 17 states currently have but ALL 50 STATES SHOULD HAVE IT!

I realize I posted this in the early hours, but I will bump this during the days to make sure everyone sees this.

The DNA samples are taken from anyone ARRESTED for any crime (even not paying parking tickets).

It is something we can do to move in the right direction.

I will be a part and do whatever you suggest.  His grandmother's face haunts me too.  I have a copy posted in my study.  I will never forget- I just want him to be brought home, please gracious Lord.

I really don't have a plan Sister. I was just thinking maybe some of us could get together and sort of have a prayer vigil for Adji and his family. When do you think would be a good time to have one? A lot of us work all day, so my only suggestion would be for a weekend or maybe one night after work. You may have an idea that would work just as well. Anyone is welcome to give suggestions.

I just want so badly to help this family, and this child. They need help to find Adji. I'd go look for him myself if it was possible. A prayer session is a way for us to contribute to the efforts to bring Adji home, since most of us are too far away to actually search for him.

I'd like to pray for Adji, his family and friends, LE, and anyone else involved in  working on his case. You never know where the answers may be.

Adji, I couldn't sleep so I am using the time to reflect and pray. I lit a candle for you and said a prayer . For you and your family. You are both in my thoughts. Please let god bring you home.

Please take a moment to light a candle and say a prayer for Adji. As of now, he has 9 candles burning.

I am a preacher, so I work the weekends :>)  How about we do this (just a suggestion).  For 7 straight days we pray for x amount of time at the same time.  I'm on the east coast so if I say 10 p.m. or whatever time and everyone else in their time zones could pray at 9, 8, 7 or 6 or whatever folks decide.  I am an owl so it doesn't matter what time to me.  "When two or more come together . . ."

Muffy, sorry for my duh! but how do I actually light a candle?

Click on this link:  http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi-adji  and you will see rows of candles, some lit, some unlit.  Go to one of the unlit candles and left click on it.  You will then see a single unlit candle.  Next to the candle are the words "before continuing, reflect a moment on your reason for lighting a candle." below that is "continue".  Click continue, and then just follow the prompts.  It will say when to light the candle.  If you need more help, let me know.  Muffy
