JVM now discussing the past errors of the Deputy who originally met with Kronk (Dep Richard Cain).  He was investigated for failure to response to another call in 2006 or 07, and use of excessive force in 2007.  JVM points out that there are many young officers who have similar investigations into their responses when they are in their first years.

Anyone in law enforcement?  Is this true?  I have never heard of investigations into responses/actions on the job being commonplace; however, I am not in LE, or familiar with how officers are evaluated.

He's not SO YOUNG an officer.  He's 40yrs old.

I know what's going to happen, right when I have to go pick up dinner (in 10 minutes) there will be nothing but "bombshell breaking news" on HLN
When you say "pick up dinner" I picture you driving to this place - the valet parks your car - you run in -pick up Chardonney, lobster, steak, sauteed mushrooms, salad, baked potato, and double double chocolate cake.........

JVM-panelist says that we don't know exactly what the officer reported when he went back to the station.  The report of trash may or may not have been what the officer told his superior.

Caller:  Kronk and PI should take polygraph.
Caller:  The PI and psychic-are they the reasons why the Ants have asked for immunity?

JVM naturally cut to commercial before the panelists had a chance to answer

What is a secret shopper?  someone who watches for shoplifters?

Someone who shops to grade the quality of service provided to the customer by the salesperson.  High end retailers care about maintaining their reputation for excellent service.  Also, the Better Business Bureau in some areas do a random shopping for grading purposes on whether or not the retailer is selling what happens to be advertised on any given day.
I did this for pizza hut one time and they gave me a free pizza once a week for three months to rate their pizza, service etc. haha
Really, Joe needs free pizza.
haha Yeah, I think they knew I was the spy.  Who orders a pizza a week for 3 months.
I do, sometimes if Boo has info I order twice a week.

Bump~I must have invisible monkey syndrome lately

Just want to know is anyone plotted her turns and was my TN detective correct about that.

Lovin~I replied back you silly monkey, and NO I was NOT ticked, it's next to impossible to tick me off, well.............unless you trash Tim Miller-that might do it

IM welcome to my world.  ::MonkeyWink::I have no idea about the right turn thing...but wouldn't that depend on if one were right or left handed....what would be natural for that person?? Just guessing ?....oh yeah..... bashing Tim or TES is not a good move~...

I don't know if that's exactly what he meant, IIRC he said perps tend to take almost exclusively right hand turns when leaving a crime scene etc., I think he meant that rights tend to be more natural and you have less of a chance of getting pulled for turning right, like at a red light etc. Less room for error.

Klaas~has anyone plotted out Casey's most likely route from her house to the woods, according to my detective friend in TN he was telling me that it's common knowledge that they turn right.........I've been logged on, but at work and having seen any detail on this?? ANYONE???????????

JVM panelists are discussing the amount of times Casey used Lee's name when discussing things with her parents at the jailhouse.

Per Weintraub, a former def atty, obstruction of justice charges for the Ants will be very hard to prove.

Weintraub is always so rankling and 'full of it', imo.  She drove me insane during Laci Peterson's case.  Just bizarre.

I know.  When JVM made that statement, I laughed.  JVM seemed really hesitant to question anything done by Kronk or Cain.

I bet the psychic is the "mall sighting" girl's mother.

Ah...good point !;   I also have wondered if that little girl was actually related to Michelle Bart.
That is my guess.

JVM back

Discussion of who can be chg'd with obstruction of justice (just in general).

Showing D. Casey video again of the trashbags.  Now discussing abandoned house.

Mentioning Gonzales family who owned the house....not believed to be a coincidence regarding the name (per Belich)

D. Casey stating that he never admitted to talking with a psychic, being very secretive about the phone convo.

I live in a college town.  Our officers get stuff like excessive force and inappropriate behavior called into the station ... frequently by college students (usually upset that a party was interrupted and/or they have to pay a fine and/or mom & dad might find out) ... the majority of the calls are unfounded (or the student sobers up and decides not to press the issue) once investigated.

OK, I found it: the myspace page for the casey lookalike. I know next to nothing about myspace lingo, so "<3" might be a common abbreviation for something.

http://www.myspace.com/387085778

By the way, it says nothing about Caylee Marie -- I was wrong about that. But it does give a date of 6/17/08, and it says "<3 him."

"heart him" or "love him" is basically what that means Smile

Hey all..sorry i am trying to catch up...im way behind but wanted to respond to this...'<3' means 'Love you' and i do check annie's myspace occasionally and she had 'Karmas a b!tch' forever...i took it as a message to casey...i may be wrong tho...anyway i was thinking i read somewhere that annie had a fallen out with casey? does anyone else remember seeing this?

I thought Kronk said he "saw something white". Not a white bag, but something white under a bag or something.
