If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

Sonw Ice Cream
*to be made when the snow is new and fresh.  This is my kids' fun tradition for the first big snow of the year.

1 c. Half and Half
1/2 c Sugar
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
5 or more cups of fresh snow

Mix first 4 ingrediants.  Mix in the snow until desired consistecy.  Depending on the type of snow (light vs packing snow) you may need more or less snow.  This should be the consistency of homemade ice cream.  VERY YUMMY!

We could learn a lot from crayons...

some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all exist very nicely in the same box.
