This is very interesting and I agree with you that there is something very eerily familiar about this movie.  Would like to know if Casey ever rented it.

Wow, Des.  Good job!  This sounds like something Casey could have watched.  IIRC in Casey's interview with the police, didn't she say to them (police) in trying to explain why she had not reported Caylee missing, that she had seen movies and knew things can go wrong...get hurt?  Something like that?

Okay, here is another one.  Our heroine, a lovely young woman, gets the runaround from the police.  They are no help to her at all.  She feels powerless.  She is a victim of their incompetence and/or lack of concern.

OMG i have seen this movie,and yes to me it smells like Krazy Casey,and im sure she has seen this movie,its just KC written all over it!!!great job you have done on this posting!!!

Thanks, ncbelle.   I couldn't believe all the parallels I saw just from watching two trailers.  I have yet to actually see the movie itself...!

The "Juliette Lewis" friend and confidante thing and the "police can't help you" thing -- those two to me are the biggest links.
