I believe it had to be Jossy that sent Silvetti and Scheafer to Tim Miller.
Jossy had talked about an ocean search for some time and then
suddenly S&S show up.  Then Jossy's son is on board the Persistence
the whole time.

Didn't Jossy conduct a search right before the Persistence arrived, one at his own expense and some how affiliated with the man from Texas who claimed to have some sort of gadget that could detect human remains?

Interesting.Who is that man and how did Jossy come to know him?

I don't recall his name.  He had the gadget in Aruba at one time and was trying to interest Dave Holloway in it.  I think it was supposed to work on some vague not particularly scientific principle of locating concentrations of calcuim as in bones and human teeth.

This is all from memory only and I could be wrong about his being involved with Jossy's search but that is how I recall it happened.
Was separate from Persistence.

Now I would like to know the area it searched just for the sake of knowing.  Was it the trap area or where.

I remember that. It's in Dave's book I think.
