The situation with Lee and immunity is something I am trying to wrap my mind around.
Is his lawyer saying that if Lee testifies and tells the truth ( HA ) he can be charged ?
And he needs immunity because the truth might land him up on charges ?
I am Canadian, please forgive my ignorance on FL laws.
So, therefore, Lee is guilty of what he wants immunity from ... aiding and abetting was what his lawyer said.
So, his lawyer tells us Lee is guilty ?
Under this system, everyone should take the fifth or ask for immunity ?
Might shorten up the trial if everyone says takes the fifth.
..
We don't have this in Canada

Did I beat Red???

Good Luck on your presentation tomorrow Leroy

Awww, thank you so much!

Here!!

The guy from the doll maker company said they had not sold a single doll. I hope it stays that way!

Oh I know...another tool box trying to get their 15 minutes of fame

I think the doll is very UGLY!  If they were trying to pay tribute to Caylee, it would not have been so cheap looking.....

I think you are asking how to "quote" a post...............even if it's yours, quoting a post will move it forward. Do you know how to do that?

Kat, I believe if he testifies truthfully, he may have to admit he either knowingly or not tampered with evidence, witnesses and even lied (what a shocker, huh?) If he gets immunity, he doesnt have to fear prosecution for admitting to any of these deeds. I hope this helps

Look at the upper right hand corner of a post you want to quote, and find the quote button. Click it and the message window will pop up for you to type in. The post you are quotng will be there. Be sure to start typing after the [/quote] that ends the message you want to bring forward. When you are done, just hit "post" as normal and you will have brought the post forward that you selected by hitting the quote button, and it will appear along with your new message.

It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. Practice makes perfect, and it's OK if you mess up while learning.

So, they can't give him blanket immunity, else he could take the blame and all the ANTS go home. They would have to give him specific immunity. It's quite the catch-22 for Lee.
Did they make a deal with Tony L for the dope dealing and possession ? Because what type of atmosphere, etc and the activities they all engaged in over there might be criminal ?

Okay...If my question doesn't get answered and I want to keep repeating myself until I have an answer...(I'm kind of like that, sorry) How do I move my post  ahead..Oh..another thing...Can I be someone's favorite who doesn't already have one? I don't really care who....I just want to be called a "favorite"..Unresolved childhood issues...I wonder why Lee's attorney keeps saying that Lee is going to be charged? Why is he not asking for immunity? Didn't all of the lawyers say that that is what they do? Instead, we have this guy that is starting to sound alot like nah nah nah nah nah....

Cuteascanbe,
do you mean like i say "Cuteascanbe, you are my favorite monkey!!!!" like that?? i always read your posts & think they are really insightful! even if i don't reply! sorry, i am "packing mode" (have to pack up personal papers myself & i am anal about organizing!) so i am just popping in & out!!!

BY THE WAY, DID I TELL ANYONE THAT "I LOVE CUTEASCANBE" SHE IS A GREAT MONKEY!
(DEFINITELY A FAVORITE MONKEY)

This looks like a match to me. Closer than any I have seen.

Going by the photos, I have always that that Caylee and JP Chat looked very close.  May just be a coincidence though.

Well...................I just noticed that you did great quoting that, so I guess you do know how to quote! Sorry, cuteascanbe, I was only trying to help. I'm not sure what you mean. You can quote a post on page 1, for example, and it will bring the post to the current page active on the thread, even if it's page 99. That moves it forward, but that's all I can think of to move a post forward.

Did I just misunderstand what you were asking?

YEARS ago, my mother had a nervous breakdown from too much working and more stress from a teenager that did not want to follow rules.  When she was in the hospital, in the mental ward, sounds bad huh, but they would not let anyone see her for 2 weeks to get her stablized.  NOt even my dad could go to see her.  They wanted time for her meds to work and time for her to rest up enough that life didn't seem so BIG.

This may be the reason for no one going to visit George, just sayin ya know.  It might not be that CA or LA don't want to go, but that they cannot go.  Just thought that might help.

Lee Anthony's Attorney Says Client May Be Charged
Attorney: Lee Anthony Could Face Obstruction Of Justice Charges

POSTED: 12:14 pm EST January 26, 2009
UPDATED: 7:21 pm EST January 26, 2009

Lee Anthony’s attorney is speculating that his client may be charged in connection with his actions while his niece, Caylee Anthony, was missing.

Casey Anthony, Lee Anthony’s sister, is charged with Caylee’s murder. Caylee was 2 when she was reported missing in July. Her remains were found near the Anthony family home in December.

His attorney, Tom Luka, said the fact that Lee Anthony has not received a subpoena to testify could signal that the state may be looking to file charges against him. If he was subpoenaed, anything he said at a hearing could not be used against him in subsequent criminal charges.

"There were a number of instances where he was acting on behalf of his sister, or on behalf of law enforcement, that now could be seen as something less than benign or could be seen as hindering the investigation instead of assisting it," Luka said.

Luka said he fears his client may be charged with obstruction of justice or evidence tampering.

Lee Anthony has also been under other family related stresses, his attorney said.

"He’s struggling with the grief of the death of his niece, he is struggling with the fact that his sister, who he is very close to, is in jail and facing life in prison," Luka said. "He is facing the fact that the economic situation in his house is not the best."

Lee Anthony has been working 18-hour days arranging parking areas for the Super Bowl. He also moved home to save money on rent.

Meanwhile, a new witness list has been filed by the prosecution in the case against Casey Anthony.

The state filed the witness list Monday morning. It included the names of more than 140 potential witnesses, including Zenaida Gonzalez and several members of Anthony’s extended family.

Also on Monday, Anthony’s defense attorney, Jose Baez, filed new court documents Monday morning. The documents asked for unspecified sanctions against the state for failing to furnish the defense team with evidence from two experts in the case.
