Thought you all may find this interesting if you're willing to accept it-

To date, the Aruban police and dive team has been a tremendous help.  They've honestly done a great job. Over the last month we've established a very good working relationship based on openness and trust.  Most of the relationship success was due to getting the media out of the way and working together shoulder to shoulder over time.  We've helped each other however and whenever we can.  They've treated us with decency and respect and we have treated them as friends and allies, which they are. Most of the police and divers are new since this case started and both eager and careful to do things right.  I wish we had a month ahead of the project just to establish the relationships and trust. I know many of you would likely doubt this view, but it's based on the experiences in the field of the entire search team. I too was extremely worried, paranoid, and suspecting in the beginning.  Now, it's clear we're all working towards a common goal.

We had little option other than to have the Aruban dive division recover the samples and bring them back under their care.  Remember we are Americans working in Aruban waters, subject to their laws, invitation, and blessing.  Our hands are tied for the most part. I personally was extremely uncomfortable with the chain of custody, being that we weren't a part of it, but I was powerless to do anything about it.   The samples were photographed in detail by one Aruban diver and the other two investigated the contents of the trap, the dimensions, the rigging, and what surrounded the trap.  From the video, it looked like they did a diligent and careful job with the samples and the underwater photography.  I don't know who has these pictures, but I must assume ALE.

I'm  happy to hear it's going well for you. Unlike you I don't have deep and wide financials experience but I can tell you this much, I've delivered a major system early in this last year and despite my employer telling me that was 'average' to drive down my incentive, I'm sticking my toe in the waters to determine the value of that skill in the even depressed marketplace ! I'm about to leave for the office, but I have a question and will check back later to hopefully see an answer.  It's a serious question, I'm not being nasty.  If the answer purports to go to credibility, I'll consider that BS.  IMO, Kermit's credibility was earned from the documentation of facts and is not dependent on gender or occupation so that just doesn't hold water. 

Can someone please explain to me what Kermit's gender or occupation has to do with Natalee Holloway, her vicious murder, and the government-sanctioned coverup thereof?

It just seems to me that good people are letting themselves be used as pawns to serve the purpose of some ex-monkey's twisted internet power-trip in trying to create a forum war and it has very, very little to do with the Natalee and/or her family.  Maybe if I can get a clear answer to this question I won't feel this way anymore.

Good find Anna. It would take a true legal mind to specify all the points clearly but short story I gather is that during Superior's IPO they broke the rules, perhaps even a measure of fraud within their representation of the stock at the time of IPO?

Class action element mandates the public PSA regarding the case is issued with appropriate contacts for any who purchased the stock at the time of IPO.

This is what I feel is the most strategic statement that Kyle made, of course I didn't see him post or email this direct to me - so the source always matters too.

That aside it's this passage:

I'm accustomed to seeing this all the time, even within boards of non-profits I've served on, there are few if any true philanthropic 'gifts' without a larger purpose or payback. I suspect Jug is pretty accustomed to seeing this too.

At the time we first heard about the Persistence's voyage it boggled my mind how such an expensive operation could even be covered from donations from individuals - unless multi-millionaires and billionaires contributed.

I remain convinced this was the true purpose throughout. Oil is liquid gold and the Russian oligarch's who rose up within oil and gas have migrated to South America and the Carribbean as well - it's the next new frontier for their gold.

I just got home and am a few pages behind, but nonesuche's post made me
want to see these two quotes juxtaposed together.  There's something hinky here, imo.
