morning monkeys, gotta go catch up! just wanted to say i think i think some of my monkey friends have been chatting with JOY/SARA. anyway i read on joy's chat that george is really close to one of joy's kids, it says he is close to joy's kid that looks like CAYLEE!!!!! could this have been the one in the mall pic or is this just some monkey business???? tia

Now this should end up being rather amusing...maybe the idiots realized that her countersuing was insane!  Working on with Casey, seriously?   What based on lies, give me strength      If you ask me they might drop the countersuit hoping it squashes the need to depose her family in fear of what they will be forced to answer OR argue that their depositions in addition to her answering interrogatories could incriminate Casey, he doesnt stand a chance on that issue.   I'm sure they think that LE doesnt have enough evidence that shows that Casey based her lies on what she came across with this Zeneida but they'd be very wrong to put that forward as this civil suit being frivolous and unfounded by this Zeneida Gonzalez.  What could Casey's attorney possibly offer that wont incriminate Casey further...nothing.

C'Mon, everyone knows that Casey is one of the great legal minds of our time.  Look at how successful she's been in the legal arena.  She must have been directing Baez's moves. Even had a great lawyer jacket on in court last week.

George Anthony, grandfather of slain toddler Caylee Marie Anthony, was released from the hospital Tuesday evening and sent home.

Anthony was admitted to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach on Jan. 23 after threatening to commit suicide. His wife, Cindy, picked him up, and they left between 7 and 7:30 p.m., family attorney Brad Conway said.

Anthony was hospitalized under the Baker Act, which allows the involuntary mental evaluation for up to 72 hours of a person deemed a likely danger to himself or others. He stayed on voluntarily for treatment, Conway said.

Anthony was "getting therapy and resting and starting that journey back to finding the skills to cope with everything that's happened and everything that's going to happen," the attorney said.


TV Guy Hal Boedeker's commentary on the Casey Anthony case coverage Anthony, 57, is no longer despondent and plans to continue his recovery with outpatient counseling.

"He's feeling good," Conway said. "He's ready. He's totally receptive. And this is part of the healing process. He knows that his family needs him, and he's ready to move forward."

Casey Anthony, 22, is charged with murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee, and remains jailed in Orange County without bail.

Mother and daughter left the east Orange home they shared with Caylee's grandparents June 16. Caylee was reported missing in July, and a meter reader found her remains in December in some woods nearby. She would have turned 3 in August.

Police used cell-phone pings to locate George Anthony in a Daytona Beach motel, where they also found an apparent suicide note. His family reported him missing after he didn't come home and sent text messages indicating he wanted to die. He took prescription medicine and drank alcohol in the room, his attorney said.

The texts stated that "he did not want to live anymore and that he wanted to be with Caylee" and "make sure Caylee was in God's arms," according to an Orange sheriff's report.

Daytona Beach police Chief Mike Chitwood, who accompanied several of his officers to check on Anthony, said the grandfather told him on the way to the hospital that, "You just don't understand what this is like."

A former Ohio deputy sheriff who once worked in car sales, George Anthony was distraught over Caylee's disappearance and death and under pressure from the national spotlight that has accompanied the case.

At least one TV crew was on the street when he returned to his Hopespring Drive house.

Nonetheless, "He's glad to be home," Conway said.

In another development Tuesday, the spokesman for Casey Anthony's defense attorney, Jos� Baez, sent an e-mail stating three people working on the case for the public-relations company have used the pseudonym Todd Black. Last week, a man who identified himself as Black admitted the name is phony. He said employee safety is the reason for the ruse.

I just read an article that said at least one camera crew was at the house but I haven't seen where any footage is posted.

Dont throw nannas at me, but Im not the least surprised he is back home.  I was about to give him the benefit of the doubt, but nope, my original opinion of him stands.  It was all an act.  Of course he is heart broken and torn, but the man needs to put caylee and what happened to her at number one priority. 

I'm betting George knew...or, should I say, SinSin knew, every aspect of the Baker Act, and they used that to get a little free break from each other. And, me being the cynic I am, I also imagine that when the hospital discharged George, he was like a cat going into take a bath...all arms and legs firmly attached to the doortway, doing everything in his power to not go thru the doors that lead him back to his *loving* family.

Whats the Baker Act?  I just never believed his suicide attempt from the word go.  I have stated my opinions in here about it being a set up, then I thought, maybe Im being too harsh and sat back and waited.  In my opinion, it was fake.  Its all about saving arses now.  Its not about justice for caylee in this family.  Its as obvious as mud on a white plush carpet. 

The Baker Act (I probably have the name wrong) is the rule that if a person is deemed a potential threat to themselves or others, they can be committed to a mental institute for at least 72 hours, longer if the Dr thinks it's neccessary (oh, why does my brain think of all these $5 words before my fingers remember how to spell them??). Anyway, the Baker Act is a free ticket...the state pays.

Our state has a similar rule, but if we have insurance, we have to pay. Dang, one more reason to become even more poor! I think I'm going to go to Florida and go crazy. All it would cost is the bus ticket and 3 days on a bus with who knows what other crazies. Then, get to the Keys (hey, if you're gonna go crazy, I've heard that's a great place to be batty), do something crazy that doesn't involve removing clothes (eeeew! I'd REALLY have to be nuts to do that!) and get committed to a room with a view and some ocean breezes.

Hmmm...maybe we should put together a tour? You know, "Crazy Cruises" or such?
(oh, and if any crazy people here are offeneded by my use of the terms and assumptions, too bad! As they say, it takes one to know one....)

Hey, I could use a rest too. Just a clue though, taking off clothes in the Keys would be the norm, not a reason to get Baker Acted. We might try wearing a lot of clothes as that might be deemed nuts.,

I am with you, I consider this a ruse and just another "script" to get not only sympathy, but to use it legally to try to prevent him from having to take those depositions in the ZG case.  It won't work, but these people seem willing to do anything to get one up on LE and the legal system.

You are probably right!  there are  a lot of things that seem to have dropped out off the radar....nothing more about immunity for the A's, nothing more about D. Casey and Hoover......those kind of things......but they are still on my radar.
