Cindy slipped in? Isn't that a little obvious that she left her house and drove to Daytona?I thought the media hounded these people? I just don't believe Cindy was sent to get him if he is out. George being there on his own after Baker act expired could sign himself out and honestly I think being the car with Cindy for any length of time at this point would be "toxic" to him.

I'm surprised he didn't jump from the car and run to somewhere safe and sane.

That is more BS. I bet they don't want people to know the facilities would not take him because they don't have any insurance. Private treatment centers require at least $30,000 up front and they are broke, so they are spinning this.

But isnt it against the law for them to turn someone away without insurance????  My friends son was turned away from a mental hospital, went to his favorite fishing place and hung himself.  They settled for over a million dollars.

That's my thought too A1.  If George really needed in-patient care ... they would have found in-patient care (or left him where he was) ... This is just another 'oh the media is picking on us and won't leave us alone' from Cindy.

Cindy treats LE and the media much the same.  She likes them to be there when she calls ... and wants them to go away at her command!

Get a shovel, that's a mighty big hole they're digging.    If he needed that type of care Cindy shouldnt have pushed for him to be released from Halifax (and we know it was her pitching fits and spewing crap).   Daytona is only shy of an hour away from Orlando with average traffic - what is the difference anyways its not like the witch bothered to visit him regularly to begin with, o yea fear that he'd finally man up & spill it!

Remember no one in the home is working a full time job and therefore no health insurance most likely.  The out patient care costs much less.

Good Afternoon/morning Monkeys. IMO if George really needed in-patient treatment at a facility and one closer to home could not be found, they would not have discharged him from the Halifax center. That would be leaving them wide open for a law siut. And I have never heard of a hospital turning someone away because of publicity.  That is just rediculous.

Lawyer: George Anthony needs privacy during recovery

George Anthony, grandfather of slain toddler Caylee Marie Anthony, needs privacy as he recovers at his Orange County home, his lawyer told the Orlando Sentinel this morning.

Anthony was released from a Daytona Beach hospital Tuesday night. He was admitted to the hospital last month under the Baker Act, which allows authorities to hold someone at a mental-health facility for up to 72 hours while they are evaluated. Anthony stayed at the facility voluntarily for treatment.

Attorney Brad Conway today asked that the public and media give Anthony and his family space so they can grieve and try go about their lives in solitude.

I thought that if one was put in a hospital under the Baker Act, the state/hospital would pay the bill if the person could not afford it.
