Hello Monkeys:

Long-time lurker, first time posting (kind of nervous).  I just wanted to say I’ve been fascinated with this case since the beginning.  I’ve never seen so many interesting characters, and I’ve never seen such a dysfunctional family.  I just hope KC was dumb enough to leave fingerprints on the duct tape and that investigators are able to lift some off.

WELCOME!!!

Hello monkeys and welcome new monkeys.

This is O/T but since it's slow I thought I would ask.
My DD read a book in school and they are setting up a courtroom and having a trial about the book.

It's about a 17 year old boy that got a riffle for his birthday and went into his back yard and shot it and the bullet hit a man working on his roof four blocks away and died. The boy at the time didn't know this happened but later learns what happened and didn't tell and hid the riffle.

My ?? is does any monkey know of a real life case close to this one that my DD could read about it and what the out come was. She is the proscuter.

Thanks so much

Welcome LibrnMnky and other new monkeys!
I don't think there will be any type of service for Caylee.. private or public, unless there is some way for these animals to make a few bucks from it

   Welcome LibrnMnky to the Cage!!

I agree the cast of characters are really interesting. Not so much for who they are, but for what they do (or don't do)! This case is just as crazy as ALOT of the people who are involved in it! Welcome to Scared Monkeys! No more lurking!

Mike Galanos on now  HLN CNN - talking about civil suit.  Doesnt matter what questions they are asking Casey is not answering.  However, in the civil case they "may" find her in contempt of court BUT it would be moot since she is already incarcerated for murder one - so it will have to wait if it ever goes forward, doubtful when she is convicted

Casey plans on taking the fifth amendment on the questions given to her for the civil suit, according to the Orlando Sentinel, well I know I'm shocked.

Beyond belief.

An interesting twist here is that if she continues to take the 5th, she will be facing having to drop her countersuit because you cant depose & interrogate parties in your countersuit if you cry foul in the other side wanting to do the same to you.   Why on God's green earth some yutz that is associated to the putz advised her to countersue in the middle of a murder investigation where she is the indicted defendant is beyond a sensible mind!
