Pardon the interruption in your regular programming:  Have you all read the front page here at SM?  I don't know if it's real or a joke....but JOY WRAY, VISITING FL FROM CT...was quoted by police about some perv doing a blow-up doll in his car in front of a Publix..........

Not back to your regular programming already in progress.............

Numbers, the name of the witness is completely fictional and in no way has any relevance to anyone who may have a similar name. heh heh

The thing about Casey that gets me is , how do you go from holding your 2 year old daughter in your arms, to putting her in a garbage bag and throwing her out in the woods, then going out with your boyfriend and renting a movie and just hanging out and having fun, and also on the day they rented the movies Caylee was prolly in the back yard at the Anthony's house or in the trunk of Caseys car, how do you just forget all  about that, and just go on,  this tells you that she is very demeanted, totally crazy, How could she continue to drive that car around with the car seat knowing that Caylee would never need it again, I wonder did she ever really just break down and cry after it was all over with, did  she ever like drive by that spot and say to herself, Ive got to go get my baby, How the Hell can someone do that and then think that she has the right to a trial, Its so crazy and yet, she sits in her cell right now eating and writing and  sleeping like she totally thinks she deserves any of this,  I just cant figure out how she even wants to live!!!!!!!!!

I think your thoughts are what drive us all so nuts.  I only have one child and never, ever did it ever cross my mind to kill her.  I imagine all manner of scenarios to explain alleged perps rationale that might perhaps involve drug use (prescribed and/or illicit) that might cause her to flip out and kill the little lamb.

Then I wonder if her anger/rage that the baby was loved by the grandparents while she was being tossed out of the nest (for any number of reasons) was too much to bear so she vented on her offspring.

I could go on and on.  If indeed alleged perp is the killer, it will never be understandable to folks w/a heart.  And I'm not so sure the gravity of what she is done will ever truly impact her.

I think alleged perp is a "broken unit" and cannot (whether because of nature/nurture or drug addiction etc.) will ever truly "know" the depth of the sin she's has allegedly committed. I want a shrink or a psychologist to explain all this away, but truth to tell it still will never make sense to me.

Just an aside:  I thought I saw the same LE guy talking about the poor nurse who was killed/just discovered in SC  who had reported the discovery of Susan Smith's two drowned boys some years ago.  That really threw me for a loop after thinking about the FL nutjob.

Foggy

Broken Unit      Do you mind if I use that?

Good morning!

Unfortunately Im bringing you the only new news in the case this morning & it will OUTRAGE you!

Defense claims Casey Anthony case mirrors TV show
Walter Pacheco | Sentinel Staff Writer
8:23 AM EST, February 6, 2009
Casey Anthony's defense attorneys appeared this morning on NBC's Today Show and compared their client with the lead character from the popular 1960s TV show, The Fugitive.

In that television show, actor David Janssen plays Dr. Richard Kimble. He blames a one-armed man for the murder of his wife, but no one believes him and he is convicted in her death. Kimble runs from the law, but is vindicated in the end.

"The person who seemed to be so guilt that the locals have made this person so guilty," attorney Linda Kenney Baden told Today Show host Meredith Vieora. "He was so hated and he ran from the law and it turns out he was innocent. In this case, we believe our client [Anthony] is innocent."

Casey Anthony, 22, is charged with murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie, and is being held without bail at the Orange CountyJail. Caylee's remains were found close to the home the toddler shared with her mother and grandparents.

Anthony claims Caylee was kidnapped by her babysitter, Zenaida Gonzalez, who investigators think does not exist.

"The comparison [to the television show] is for everyone has to wait. You have to stop saying someone is guilty," Baden said.

Lead defense attorney Jose Baez said "it's her [Anthony] against the world."

He spoke little about the change of venue, saying he plans to "keep the location we're asking for secret."

"I don't want that disclosed," Baez said. "I don't want what's going on in Orlando to happen in the new location."

Baez added, "I am doing the best I can for my client...I am quite frankly, doing the oath that I took."

The video is labeld "STOP ATTACKING CASEY ANTHONY"     WHAT   ARE YOU FLIPPIN KIDDING ME!    Please dear God we need a document dump with some solid evidence to take the wind out of these blowhard money grubbing parasites!

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/29050992#29050992

If anything they both have just made themselves look ridiculous and desperate.

Can anyone figure out why JB is waiting to file Change of Venue motion? I mean he talks and talks about it and we all know where he wants it so why not do it? I looked at a sample form for change of venue and from what I found online you just fill in stuff. On the request you fill in what county to move it to so I think he doesn't want to be turned down on the change so if he puts Miami-Dade county that puts it in an area that is over 60% hispanic population. Orlando is not even close to that or even Jacksonville. I do believe from what I read that you have to chose a location that is close to where the case is now.

good point, I know bozo is hispanic, and prolly trying to move towards the area where he thinks most hispanics will support him.  i dont think they will tho, even if half the jury is hispanic.  Now i have another dumb question, was the supposed "Zanny" hispanic or portarican (I know thats spelt wrongly)

I dont think he's getting a change of venue, it will cost too much and guess what this performance on his money train NBC Today Show appearance just solidified that the State will argue that BAEZ & his team of defense hired ho's are out there bringing attention to the case, so its his foul!!   If he is hoping for a larger Hispanic jury pool, he isnt thinking about how outraged pretty much everybody is that Casey pointed the finger at a nanny that didnt exist but harmed the Zeneida that visited Sawgrass.   My God do they not get it, they could try the case in URANUS and she's still going to get justifably convicted!       Let's just hope the next document dump includes solid evidence that points to Casey directly so their tongues fall out!

I thought I was the only one that did not do the Valentines. Five years ago on Valentines day I buried my son. My poor hubby would love to do something but I just can not get over the connection. Ah well, guess that gives me 364 other days to make him feel loved!

oh I am so sorry, big hugs.  Im behind now in posts and missed that you lost your son.  That would kill me.  How did he die if thats not too personal to ask?  And if I dont reply straight away, its my stupid computer.  Hugs sister.

not a problem - I was 38 weeks pregnant and he passed away from what they think was likely a cord accident - they believe that the cord got caught between my pelvis and his shoulder. He was perfect in every way except for that. We have wonderful pics of him that the hospital did after he was born which are a treasure. My 2 year old looked so much like him when he was born.

Lucinda (and anyone else that is interested!) Here is a link to his hospital pic - I did not want to post the pic itself in case some found it offensive!  http://i673.photobucket.com/albums/vv99/theboyzmom/scan0004.jpg

aww he was so beautiful and perfect, just looks like he is sleeping.  Oh you poor mama, that is heart breaking.  Thanks for sharing such a personal photo with me.

theboyzmom --- he was so beautiful.  I am so sorry for your loss. I had one miscarriage and was not able to conceive again.  Thankfully, God had other plans for us and we adopted a beautiful baby girl 4 1/2 years ago.  We have been so blessed.
[/quote]

and she is a little stunner pook, she is blessed to have you and hubby as parents, just as you are blessed to have her.

Slore can't have it both ways.  She can't sue ZG and expect to question her but then plead the fifth in her case.  I am so mad right now!    :smt092Remember when OzInterest said that there will be many more shock waves in the near future.  I wonder what those are?
I would love to know, I've been wondering that since she posted that.
Okay ... since everyone knows I don't have a pause button ... I've always wondered about that OzInterest?  Legit or Not?  I was wavering towards not ...

I am behind about 10 pages or so, so this may pop up in the middle of another discussion and seem out of place ( should probably heed Desi's warning) but I too have wondered about OzInterest.  She said her husband was consulting with OCSO and made reference to his MIG group.  I googled MIG and the only thing that seemed relevant was a Mitochondrial Interest Group.  I asked her about this, but did not get a reply.  It seemed odd, the way she left/quit posting.  Just don't know about her.

The last time she posted, she said she didn't feel like she fit into the Clique or something like that.   But, she may have been told to just be quiet.   you know?   just guessing...

I dont buy it, nobody's wife who actually would consult with OCSO would post it on here, no way.. Troll.

That thought also crossed my mind...    especially when she first started posting.
sorry I am so far behind guys and someone else may have cleared this up for you but I have no reason to beleive or disbelieve ozinterest. Like me she is an Australian and the MIG group is a western Australia tactical response team MIG stands for Major Incident Group. The only other meaning that could be relevant is not with the police but the army in Austra;ia. It is actually MIG-21 (although there may be others I am only familiar with this one) but is often shortened to MIG and it is the Military Intelligence Group. You also have to remember that over here the Anthony case is pretty well completely unknown and there is NO media following the case so she would have no one to talk to about anything case related other than us and I personally found her quite reticent in revealing much of anything so I don't think she has betrayed her husbands trust in anyway either imho.

You've busted me since nineteen sixty three

theboyzmom - I'm so sorry you lost your precious son.

Thank you. I know he is in heaven with my dad waiting for us to join them someday - I am sure Dad is teaching him how to play ball and build things!
...and I'm sure that knowing, brings you a measure of comfort.  Bless you.

I believe oz interest, she posted what she could, but could not elaborate on it.  Im glad she had the guts to post what she did.  maybe after the trial she can explain things.  And, as an Aussie also kudos to her and you Sharlock.

I follow a bunch of kids who are sick with life threatening illnesses and watch the grief these pareents go through .They lose their homes and jobs trying to find a cure and most end yp losing their little ones. Then Casey has a perfectly healthy beautiful child and just kills her and throws her out like grabage.

If you want to read about and pray for some little heroes just visit this site....www.asherandjacobsfriends.com . Asher's friends are still here with us. And his twin..who did not make it...Jacob friends are in Heaven. You will come away from the site a different person.

I will go look at the site.  You are absolutely correct, all these loving parents who have to watch their children suffer, lose their lives thru diseases, and all those parents who cant have children, then these murdering bastards can kill their innocent babies that they are supposed to love and protect, its just doesnt make sense and makes me so angry.

Me, too!  My daughter has a friend whose daughter has been fighting cancer for over two years now.  The child is 13.  My stepsister could not have chldren, and yet, would have been the most wonderful mother.  Unfortunately, her husband is quite a few years older than she, and so they were considered to old to adopt.

Any unwanted pregnancy is difficult.  Any way of dealing with it is life-changing.  I had a child at 19.  I gave him up for adoption, because I knew I couldn't do a good job of parenting.  I wanted my child to have a real family, not just a scared girl.  I was adopted, myself, so I had no fears of the baby not having a good family to go to.  Whatever decision the accidental egg donor makes; whether to keep the baby, give him or her up for adoption, or end the pregnancy, it changes your life, and many women agonize over their decision for the rest of their lives.

If it's true that Casey caved to Cindy when she really wanted to give Caylee up for adoption, that was where she went wrong.  She should have walked.  She was 19, the same age I was when I had my unwanted pregnancy.  My mother was extremely critical of my decision, and I finally told her that, if we were to have any further relationship, she would have to never bring up the subject again.  She thought about it, and then she caved, and never did mention it.  We did talk about it, eventually, but only if I brought it up.

Casey should have hit the road, contacted an organization that looks after girls who have no way to manage on their own, and followed her instinct to place Caylee for adoption.

Not to be off topic, but when I see posts like this I will always stop any other thoughts. I lost my neice 5 years ago at age 14 to Ewings Sarcoma. Diagnosed at 12. By the time we lost her she had started a foundation to put ICEE machines in Children's Hospitals, and several scholarship programs to help families in need when their kids are ill. Today, her parents have AngelField, which is a retreat for terminaly ill children and their familes to spend a weekend, free of charge, with activies, peace gardens and psychological professionals helping the family through that time. She is the #34 in my Blink34, I am humbled by her and miss her and love her in a way second only to that of my own children. www.angel34.org

You are correct, those losses change the way some of us look at the situation of Casey and Caylee. Im angry about the chances my Nicole did not have, who spent her little life helping others and was Valient, and then this woman.

Thanks for indulging me by telling you about my girl.

Blink
Thank you for providing that link Blink.  I read about your remarkable niece, Nicole and the wonderful things her parents are doing, in her memory to assist other kids.  Hats off to them!

The "Broken Unit's" defense team has opted to base their
strategy on the movie "The Fugitive".  Seen in the picture
above is Bill Raish, as Fred Johnson (The One-Armed Man)
from the movie.  Word out of Hollywood is that Mr. Raish
is contemplating a comeback to play Zanny the Nanny.
