My next door neighbor is the store manager at a Publix grocery store here in my neighborhood.  I called her earlier today and put my order in for a dozen pink balloons for Caylee.  I'm picking them up first think on Tuesday morning. 

Another local Monkey and I will also be releasing 1,000 pink balloons for Caylee, on the day the verdict comes down on Casey (whether it's a year or 5 or ten years from now).  Approximately one for each day that Caylee lived.  This will be our way of celebrating justice for Caylee.  And we plan to release them at Jay Blanchard Park in Orlando.

i have tuesday off from work,,,and i will do the same, from vancouver, bc, canada

George, Cindy Anthony To Attend Caylee Memorial
Security Will Be Tight, Attorney Says

ORLANDO, Fla. -- George and Cindy Anthony plan to be at a public memorial service for their granddaughter, Caylee, their attorney said Friday afternoon.

Attorney Brad Conway said security will be tight so that no one disrupts the service, which is planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Orlando on John Young Parkway.


The service will be a 5,000-seat worship at the church, which is located at 3000 S. John Young Parkway.

Hundreds if not thousands of people are expected to gather to pay their respects to the toddler.

The family finalized plans Thursday for a memorial service for Caylee and everyone is welcome.

People attending Tuesday morning will have to pass through a metal detector before they go inside.

Pastors at the First Baptist Church of Orlando said they want this service to reflect the dignity and respect Caylee deserves.

All bags of any kind will be prohibited along with back packs, cell phones and recording devices. With as many as 5,000 people attending, church officials said they want to make sure everyone is there for the right reason.

The public memorial for Caylee is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. Doors open two hours before the service.

Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, is in the Orange County Jail charged with her daughter's murder.

Casey Anthony will be able to watch the televised memorial service.

Meanwhile, WESH 2 learned Thursday that Orange County taxpayers have picked up $10,000 in expenses for the attorney representing the former meter reader who discovered Caylee Anthony's remains.

That's according to David Evans, the attorney who has fielded media offers and accompanied Roy Kronk to interviews with detectives working the case.

Kronk is a county employee who this week started a new inventory specialist job.

From here on out Evans said it will be up to the county to decide if they want to continue with the arrangement or have Kronk pick up the legal bill.

A motion to dismiss with prejudice; That asks the judge to drop the suit, and would not allow it to be re-filed. The second motion, is a motion for sanctions. Kasen wants Zenaida's attorney Keith Mitnik of the Morgan and Morgan to be penalized by the courts for fling what he claims to be a frivolous lawsuit. On top of that Kasen filed a motion for a ?57.105?. That asks that the plaintiff and her attorney pay for his legal fees.

OKAY, JSM has a BIG question for religious people. At my church, it is a PUBLIC place, i.e. say there is a wedding or funeral, if a person (not involved with the wedding/funeral Mass feels the need to go light a candle or say a prayer, that person has the right to go into the church and do that. What makes Cindy and George have the right to tell who can and can't come into the church? JSM is stupid about religion, so please help me out! TIA JSM

This just makes me crazy. How can Cindy, the church or anyone else say someone cannot come into a house of God? Boggles my mind.

I do not think they can keep people out. I Michigan we can not keep people out of property open to the public unless they have previously cause a problem. Even then the cops give us a hassle about it sometimes. I think that the fact that these scum would even think about keeping people out of a memorial is sick. Any pastor that would allow it is also sick. I can see keeping people out that have actually caused problems in the past (some of the protesters may meet that criteria) but to keep out people that have done nothing or have only tried to help is beyond stupid.

Thanks boyzmom, I just know where I live there is a church that will throw the mentally ill out because they don't fit "in". I didn't know the law of how that works. Thanks

Leonard is in Orlando and will lend his hand in a lesser known Florida case.  With the ongoing media coverage and a new age internet interest of Padilla's involvement in the Anthony case, Leonard has been encouraged to look into another Orlando area case involving a missing woman.  The case has been presented as an unsolved murder in the media.

Leonard also continues to work on the Anthony case and devotes time in his daily schedule for investigating suspicious information and events in the matter.  Leonard has developed an unfortunate lead in the case and is currently working to verify the truth of witness statements made in the media.       

I would lay money on it that this is KioMarie ... if I had any money ... numbersgirl is well aware that I've given it all to my CPA ...     

One of my fondest wishes is that someone like LP remains a conduit for info re. alleged perp/family.  Something that's always bugged me about this case is that there was no one there to draw this person or that one out re. sharing (substantiated) info.  But I've always thought LP might be that person. 

I get a kick out of him and'd love to know that he has helped the prosecution to either make sure they had the right alleged perp in custody/helped exonerate suspects in this evil crime.

Putting this case aside,  I really like him 'cause once he made a remark (can't recall where) that his daughters pet (a cat, I think?) had passed away and they were all grief stricken (my words/interpretation from what I heard).  Now that's a far cry from the Ants and more in tune w/my own notion of a "normal" family.  God love him.

Ok, I've been debating about posting this, but it's bugging me.  I really like the candle and pink balloons idea.  I was thinking that if all of the monkeys who really care for Caylee could get together and hold their own service, everyone welcome, all about Caylee, how great that would be. Of course, that's impossible. But then I was wondering if we could have a memorial thread here, where all monkeys so inclined could post photos of their pink balloons rising into the sky--in the forests, along the beach, in the city, near the mountains. It would make me happy to see those photos and know how deeply she was loved in so many places.  Kind of a dorky idea.

But then this was pushing my buttons a bit. I lost someone I loved dearly about 15 months ago, and this brought back some levels of grief I thought I had moved beyond.  Plus, my spiritual life tends to be more internal and I'm not used to expressing things outwardly so much.

So, thanks for listening, but I just wish there were a way to memorialize Caylee with no strife, no hope for profit, and no media circus.

Someone said that Casey was working hard with Kasen writing a new motion.  Those guys are really hard up (Pardon the expression) if they have to depend on Casey's assistance in writing legal papers.  This girl didn't even finish high school. She doesn't know a tort from a tart.

Conway said the state and the defense have both stated they are "done" with the remains, which are still at the funeral home.

Still no plans for burial.

IMO they won't. She will be cremated (if she hasn't been already) and will rest in a urn or something in the Anthoney home. I do not believe they will ever put her in the ground. Cindy won't want to part with her...mark my words.

This whole thing with Cindy is SICK.  Yes she will put her urn on display and charge the tv stations to view it for all America to see.

This public service is sick also.  Can't get a fair trial in Orlando BUT they can gather 5000 caring people in a church where you get a shakedown before entering.  All Cindy will do is try to get 5000 people to view all the videos, pictures and personal belongings of Caylee so she can show the population of Orlando what a loving, good mother she was.  Wonder if there will be any of the 1000 pictures shown that KC deleted? 

This whole family is sick---------including George.  This "tried to commit suicide" is a scam to keep him from having to testify for the trial (he was going crazy when he gave GJ testimony) and in this Z.G. case.  JMO so don't throw things at me.

Well since she is an agent with the FBI she may be on the do not allow list. But she also works for Biaz, so she may be on the allow list. but since she also works as a PI she may be incognito. But then GA is her daughters Godfather, she may be with the family.....Did I cover all of her Identities
