If they are, I will be satisfied and stop obsessing over this case. Because then I will know justice will be served because jurors cannot be blindsided by crazy defense strategy when the forensic evidence is rock-solid (okay, yes, they were in the OJ trial, but that's another story; KC is not OJ and no one is going to let her off for killing her baby).

I agree, except I'd still like to understand why? Maybe that's just my problem.


I need to know why, too.  I always have to know the why about things--esp. when it comes to someone killing a defenseless creature.

I do think the family is messed up.  But there's something else to bear here.  Its not a "simple" thing like that looney in TX who brutalized/killed Baby Grace.  And folks who think death might go back on table for Caylee's murderer should dream on.  Texas is a smoke 'em state, and this horribly cruel woman only got life...though I guess she might have turned on her husband and he may pay.  I don't know since I haven't followed that case.

Imho, alleged perp in Caylee's case had no impulse control and flew off the handle and took out her frustration on the weakest person in her midst.  People like that (in my experience) never take on someone their own size.  Perhaps being strung out on something reduced her inhibitions/exacerbated her pre-existing impulse control and anger issues.  Whatev.

All this to say I think the why Caylee died is vastly important.

WHY she died is less important than why there is such an attempted cover up of the death.

She died because KC was sick and tired of being burdened down by her. She was tired of covering up her lack of a job and she could not leave because of Caylee. She didn't want her, but she refused to let Cindy have her. That would be admitting defeat in her eyes and that was never acceptable in the life long power struggle with her mother.


I don't agree that learning why Caylee died is less important than what smacks of a coverup after the fact.  Her death is what matters.  Any coverup that may or may not have occurred is beside the point.  I think its human nature to cast around for bad actors when there a child is murdered and the alleged perp has yet to be brought to justice.

Anyone involved in a coverup will get theirs one way or another. 

Myself, I'm pretty much only focused on the alleged perp.

The posts above were replies to my post last night. I had to go to bed, but I just wanted to give a response. To me, there is no "why" that would make any sense to me in this baby's murder. So, whatever the "why" is, it's not justifiable. My main point is just wanting to know that justice can be served, and I feel the fingerprints can help accomplish that.

 A little convenient huh??  And let's not forget the spindy explanation of what sent him over the brink, she said it was because she had asked him to pick out jewelry for the "funeral" and then his atty. says he got suicidal because there's no funeral arrangements, everything is always doublespeak . I don't doubt he is very de[pressed but suicide, I don't know.
 
I also think they're worried about having testimony on record. They're so used to lying and changing stories, what if they answered one way at the deposition and then at trail had to spin it a different way due to the direction stupid bozo attempts to defend KC.

NG can be a little harsh, but one thing I do like about the show is that it keeps showing images and video of Caylee. The other news programs don't do that. They show George, they show Casey, they show Lee . . . NG focuses on Caylee pics and videos a lot.

Attorney Brad Conway told WESH that he couldn't find inpatient psychiatric care for George in Orange County. Facilities had expressed concern about accompanying media attention.

So he was turned down at psychiatric facilities. Interesting.

Due to publicity ... even more interesting ...

Good for them. My guess is another concern is that GA has no money, and why should he be any different than the thousands who are turned away from care so often in the US. Just my opinion.
