I can't help but wonder what reason do they have to put in so much "kudos" for KC?? Regardless of whether they still love her or not, she killed their granddaughter, and they feel the need to save her from it! I don't know, I think they must have some involvement in Caylee's death (most likely after the fact), or KC has some major dirt on them, and they don't want to truly "piss her off". She's been in prison almost 4mos, and they still tip toe around her, and are very careful of everything they say. They can still love her unconditionally all they want, that's their personal decision, but to get in front of the nation and give her "the nod" to give her kudo's like that, it's totally wrong!!!! They should have left her out of Caylee's Memorial!!!!!!!!!

Wow - I am sorry, but sure felt mighty staged for PR and image.
Three things hit me like lead belts - CMA - Casey Marie Anthony or Caylee Marie Anthony -- which one is the tattoo's on your wrists for, Lee?  Who is your love?
Cindy - when the doctor placed her in my arms (not sure exact words here) but given that was an issue with her and Casey - was that a dagger or a brag Cindy? 
and finally.........
Morbidly - Cindy - you had TWO CHILDREN NOT THREE.  CAYLEE WAS NOT YOUR CHILD _ SHE WAS A GRANDCHILD.   Freudian slip?  I think not........ all about you - mirror reflects Casey back at you Cindy.

Caylee - Blessed child you deserved so much more, and somehow just looking out my back window, I think today all of heaven and nature sang for you!   Right before the service, I had a flock (at least mourning doves in my back garden.  I have never seen them there - but I do know when my grandmother was critical that mourning doves came and sat on her window in critical times and despite changing nursing homes, they were there when she passed.  Symbolism - or God's way of letting me know it is all right - I am blessed for the peace of those doves.

PS - been a debacle of illness that has kept me away...but, looks like I am on the mend, knock on wood!

That is the way most of the churches down here, except the catholics, do these sort of things. It was an adjustment for me when i sent my kids to a private christian school.

I know I do not have the popular opinion here, but after hearing Cindy's words about Casey and George request for letters to Casey and about Casey......I do believe that Lee's CMA was to Casey, and not to Caylee.  What promise did he make to Caylee?  What would a young child ask him to promise?  Sorry, I think that was to Casey and Casey only.

  I wanted to think this would be about Caylee but the pattern of Anthony behavior in the past convinced me that it probably wouldn't be and I was not wrong. Again the coded talk from Lee, again the love and tears for poor innocent Casey, again the blatant publicity for crooks (milstead) and money making ventures.

These are people who seem incapable of loving without an agenda attached. love for Caylee is expressed with encouragement to support KFN, love for Casey is expressed with the notion that the public should take care of her emotional needs by writing her, thus giving credence that she's been misunderstood and maligned unjustly.

This should have been about Caylee, period. But it wasn't.

Just a quick note before I dash off and deal with family matters:

I am officially giving Lee a break. When he spoke, I knew most of his thoughts were about Caylee. But, when he got to the part about concious and telling the truth, I knew he was speaking to his sister! Later, when I can find and go thru a transcript, I'll show you the line, but I'll tell you this right now:

Lee knows KC did it, and Lee is very angry with Kc. And for that, I will give him a break.

Gotta go..and, and I typed this with barely dry nail polish, so you just know it was important for me to say!

Some of you have probably never attended a funeral or memorial in a Southern Baptist Church.  This is a very "normal" ceremony for Southern Baptists -- all the "religious" songs are current hits from the young Christian rock groups, and so far it has been very uplifting, at least to me, with the exception of Cindy popping her chewing gum, Lee looking as though he is falling asleep, and George appearing he could shatter at any moment.  OOPS - time for the Ant speaks!

This may be regional but a 2 hour service with all the secular music is not "normal" in a Southern Baptist Church. Nothing about this family is "normal"so I would expect today to be no different from other days.

It was almost okay and acceptable on the surface, right up until the time they all got up to speak.  From that point on, it was a zip line to the gutter.  Not about Caylee, not about loving her or grieving for her -  about us, us, us, us, us --- how long is this thing going to last?  Should have ended about 1-1/2 hours ago - right after Stutzman spoke.

I have attended a funeral I will never forget, it was a close friend of mine, we were only 16 at the time.  He died in a horrific car crash, horrible night, I was there when the father identified his sons body and screamed as his heart was breaking.  The funeral was even harder.  His mothers sceams from the front of the church, she threw herself upon his casket and howled.  She was broken, had to be carried out of the church.  I sat and shook, that family had lost their loved one tragically.  While I know that not all families are like this one, I do not see much sadness among the A's that is not staged.
