It must be Shiny Happy People Day on another site, people are eating up that memorial like it was the best memorial ever done. I figured. At the other memorial Lois, Murt and Dakota were there, and evidently R Grund gave a very nice speech.

I've been working, but sounds like the memorial was all we expected it to be.....and then some.

Does anyone know if it will be replayed anywhere? TIA?

Klaas, I sent you Mariloo's.

Turn on Headline News- it is on every few minutes- not the whole thing though. I think WFTV has the entire show on their site.

FYI - I stickied the thread TODAY created for screen caps of the memorial so it's up top.  I also added the link Seeme just posted.  Thanks Today and Seeme!
I added Brandi's, she said she was busy and that I could.

Sorry, no disrespect for the Church itself or the Pastor- but -all I could think of was- when Cindy starts selling the DVD of the service- should it be called-
                              The Clampetts go to Church!

Don't drag the Clampetts into this...they were honorable and honest people.  maybe it could be called the Mansons go to church.

Dear Monkeys, I was a jerk when I left and I hope you will accept me back into the cage.  I have missed you.  I got caught up in stupid stuff on another board and it got out of control.  So, I hope I will be accepted back.  I just couldn't keep quite anymore; I watched the memorial service and I  agree with most of you about the memorial service today.  I actually started crying when Lee was talking, but  when he mentioned CMA, CMA, I said wtheck??  I have no doubt he was talking to Casey.  When George started talking I shed some tears there, too, but when he started telling everyone to write Casey and how great Kidfinders is, he lost me.  Cindy, omgosh, was in her glory, center stage and even got to sing!! I've never seen a memorial service like this one as I've never seen a case as this.

Don't know whatcha talkin bout, but pull up a seat!

I don't know either but I like what you just posted....I had the same "turning points"

Hi Bearly !!!!!
How are things in your neck of the Woods ? (pun intended)

Sorry, Sea, I hit the wrong button, there was something in my eye.

Sure, I'll go necking with you in the woods, as long as your wife needs the time off.

I didnt even listen to Lee's speech, I cant beleive he is still talking in code like some lunatic, what the hell, this was Caylee's last goodbye, did she know the code, uhhh No I doubt it, so talk like you are suppose to so everybody will know where your heart is, not like you think you are Bond 007,  God they all need to stop playing games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi HH !!!!

I couldn't believe what I was hearing....I'm sure ...IMO..that  the CMA was directed at KC for later when Baez shows her the presentation...even if CMA was a nick name for Caylee.. the context of his statements didn't make any sense to be directed toward her..only KC

Baez showed up at the jail just before the service started WITH his laptop. The jail released a statement to WESH saying that she is allowed to view media websites with her lawyer, so I am sure they knew she would be watching.
I cannot tell you how shocked I am that a jail allows an internet connection.  I have no idea how they could limit the surfing to media sites only.  Two reasons internet is not allowed in penal institutions is porn and internet schemes.

I'm not shiny or happy.

I watched it -- some of it -- by my own choosing and now I wish I hadn't.   puker

Teens Find Human Skull While Fishing
Tuesday, February 10, 2009

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- Crime scene technicians will be working the scene where some teenagers found a human skull stuck in a tree on Merritt Island late Monday afternoon.

Tuesday morning, a deputy guarded the area where the teenagers from Orlando made the gruesome discovery.

The five teens were fishing near Banana River Drive, when Mayke Cruz walked into the woods to go to the bathroom. That's when Cruz said he found the skull wedged nearly five feet up a tree.

"He's like, 'There a skull!' "None of us believed him and sure enough it's a friggin' skull!" said one of the teens.

Investigators said they weren't sure how long the skull had been in the tree.

Too many bones in FL being found lately. I think I will stay indoors. Gee. I think it is a different county than the bones the other day but wonder since the head and an arm were missing if connected? Ok..bad choice of words there.

Here's what I want to know:

If the aim of the Anthony family is to get Casey off the hook, what in the world would they do if they succeeded? Take her back into their home and act like nothing ever happened? Would she go back to work at Universal? *Cough*

Seriously, what the hell do they hope to achieve? Would Cindy kill Casey herself?

Monkey thoughts.

I guess Casey would just continue with what appeared to be her plan and that is to off her parents.

Watching the video of the service is tearing me up. George touching Caylees photo and him being so emotional is breaking my heart to bits.
He broke me up too until he spoke. Some was ok but when it got to..well...Kidfinders I just couldn't hear anything after that.

And as she is doing so, they would still be in denial. AGGGGHHHH.

Mourners hold separate memorial where Caylee's remains were found
Rich McKay | Sentinel Staff Writer
With tears, prayers, and toys in hand, more than 70 people gathered near a small patch of woods in southeast Orange County where the body of Caylee Marie Anthony was found after months of holding the attention of the nation.

People gathered in an impromptu service this morning, led by a California bounty hunter who inserted himself in the case of the missing girl and her 22-year-old mother Casey Anthony, who is now in jail and charged with the child's slaying.

"This isn't anything that was planned," said Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla who was once welcomed into the Anthony household when he helped secure a bond for Casey, but later revoked it, stating that the mother wasn't cooperating in the search for her child.

"I didn't know Caylee, but I feel like I did," he said. "I wanted to come out here and say a few prayers."

TV Guy Hal Boedeker's commentary on the Casey Anthony case coverage The service coincided with the formal memorial for Caylee, of which Padilla was banned from attending by the family. Padilla, who has weighed in on the case many times in the national media, said that he wasn't trying to upstage the Anthony family or extend his fame.

"I haven't invited a single [media] camera here," Padilla said. "Caylee means more to me than she does to the media. To the media, she's just good television. I wish that I met her, I didn't, but I feel like I know her."

People gathered in a semi-circle around an informal memorial of teddy bears, dolls, homemade crosses and photos of Caylee.

Heidi Penoyer, who lives near the Anthonys' Hopespring Drive neighborhood, brought a small doll in pink pajamas to lay at the memorial.

"I just had to come here," she said. "It's so sad. I can't imagine if something were to ever happen to my grandchildren."

Kalani Bowles, 18, of Winter Park, helped erect a large white board for people to write on, and a large red heart for the child. He criticized the family for excluding some people from the formal service.

"It's a funeral, not a rock concert," he said. "Anyone who wanted to attend should have been allowed."

Friction between the Anthony family and others who supported them early on extended to Richard Grund, who baby sat for the child when they believed for a time that his son, Jesse Grund, was Caylee's father.

Richard Grund spoke of his family's love for the child and the pain they feel at her loss.

"The message here is for all of you," he said. "If you have children, love them today, because as we found out from this case, you may not have them tomorrow."
