Klaas have you seen or heard from Hat ?

Not in a long time.  He did pop in unexpectedly last December.  Hat and Hammer both drop by, say something very astute and take off.

An another example of a dedicated Natalee Holloway poster (from BFN) that thinks by posting at CnG she will stay away from the games.  Of all people welcoming her, COLT  :

Hope she watches out for the knife!!  Wonder what he will say to me on Tuesday - when acts like he is George's "friend"!!

Mytime - are you going to the memorial?  Do you think Colt will be there as well?

P.S. If you are going I might suggest wearing a different dress. That one is a bit flashy plus it doesn't cover all your fur if you know what I mean

I'm not sure if this is okay to post in this forum or not. I could not find an Animals forum. If not, I apologize and you can move it or remove it. It's for animals

Subject: Artists - can you help please?

"219: The Show"

Did you know that 219 pets die in Atlanta metro shelters every day? Compare this to 54 pets per day in Chicago and less than 400 pets per year in San Francisco. Our pet overpopulation problem here in Atlanta is staggering, and we must act, both for the sake of the pets and for our legacy as a city.

On April 18, 2009 Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends (AARF) will hold "219: The Show" at Fine Line Gallery, a benefit to raise awareness and much-needed funds to address the pet overpopulation in Atlanta.

AARF is looking for artists and crafts people to donate art to be sold in a silent auction. Two special pieces will be chosen to sell during a live auction at the end of the event.

Our goal is to have at least 219 pieces of work so each piece will represent one dog or cat that will have lost his or her life in a county shelter that day.

The event will be heavily publicized both in print, radio and TV. All artists will be listed in the program and an artist bio will be posted by each donated piece.

Our goal for the evening is to raise $30,000, which will allow us to save hundreds of pets from euthanasia in an Atlanta shelter. Please help by donating your work! Donations are tax-deductible.

For information on donating your work, please contact Melissa Bundy at Melissa@aarfatlanta.org or call 404.245.5240.

For information on being an event sponsor, contact Susan Leisure at susan@aarfatlanta.org or 404.783.0953.

To the newer monkeys:  I was warned when I came here about giving out too much personal information, phone number, address, etc.  I didnt listen.  I thought, oh no, these people care about me, they are my friends!!!!   Word to the wise, when older monkeys warn you about these things, heed their advice.  They have been burnt and survived.
