I've never subscribed to the 'boat disposal' theory, but it sure can't be any kind of coincedence that Koen's lost his cell phone on that very night.

From what front page poster Linda says, the family has been wanting to move to the USA, Georgia for the last couple years.

I'm sure they visited prior to moving.  That photo could have been taken over a year ago.  Not much longer ago than that though because Sander doesn't look that much younger.

it was uploaded on 12/27/05 so perhaps they spent xmas in GA?

Course if had been a 16yr old on aruba, I'd probably have swam here to the USA just so I could get a legal drivers license.

well San and I discussed yesterday that GA's laws for licensure are more lax than some other states but as I recall they do require driver's ed or driving school certificate for your learner's permit?

From: http://www.dds.ga.gov/Joshua/index.aspx

Effective January 1, 2007 there will be new requirements for class D driver's licenses

Are you familiar with Joshua's Law? It is a bill that changes the requirements that teen drivers must meet in order to obtain a Class D driver's license starting on January 1, 2007.

To get a Class D driver's license at age sixteen (16):

You must have completed a driver education course approved by the Department of Driver Services and
You also must have completed a cumulative total of at least forty (40) hours of other supervised driving experience, including at least six (6) hours at night.
If you have not completed an approved driver's education course, you cannot get your Class D driver's license until you reach age seventeen (17). Remember, forty (40) hour of driving experience, including six (6) hours of driving at night, is always required for a Class D driver's license.

Sounds like it's something coming into effect in a few months?

thanks for that BT, I have a question though? I am assuming you gain your 40 hours driving experience with your learner's permit?

If so, do your parents sign off you completed your 40 hours and 6 at night?

we all know big ppl lie  Laughing

sorry I could not resist ....
