Carlos & Charlies had a photo section on their website.  That photo was uploaded in March, iirc.   It may have been taken during a spring break period.  The CnC website was altered shortly after Natalee went missing due to the negative publicity, imo.

Many links from early on no longer work.  Many posters had the sense to copy photos & text or made screen shots.  I, like many others, have lost much of saved info due to computer issues.

Art and I talked to Ms. Flanagan about all the red flags that we were seeing and that we
thought Koen, Joran, and Deepak took Natalee out in the boat.  She agreed with that theory.
She added that the reason she had left the case was because she thought Koen was lying,
and when she asked the police to re-interview him, they refused.  We told her we were going
to talk to the Prime Minister the next day to lay it all out. Source: Dave Holloway page 181
 
 
Slowly more evidence was coming to light.  We heard more about the cage that was stolen
from the fisherman huts.  On the night after Natalie disappeared, three out of four
fisherman's huts on the beach near where she and Joran allegedly went were burglarized.
Missing from one of the huts was a knife and a cage used to trap fish.  Supposedly the
fishermen forgot until much later to report the incident.  He finally called it in but was
not contacted back.  Apparently the cage was made of wire and had an opening at one end
were the fish enter and cannot get back out.  It was usually weighted and baited and put in the water with a buoy to mark its location.  It was big enough to hold the human body,and the theory is that Natalee was put in there and taken out to sea.  In an e-mail I had received, someone discussing the cages stated that a lock was broken, and the net was used to dump Natalee 2 miles offshore. It's possible to have been 10 years or so.  I don't know for certain and don't have any way to readily test this. The trap was somewhat intact.  It's north side was in poor shape, with significant deterioration of it's northern panels.  The trap's doop is usually fastened to the outside of the trap.  It was laying inside the trap, as if pushed open. The contents sampled inside the trap were laying on top of the door.  The trap was found in 90 ft.

Another thing , I went to dive a week a go to the same location, and the Cage is still there. If the cage was evidance in a murder case, why is it still in the water.

However ... I am not going to tell you what word went a long ways towards me winning the game.  It was a "triple word score".  My hubby was shocked.  He claimed it was not listed in the Scabble dicationary but ... considering our scores were very close at that point ... he would not challenge me or ... he would have be forced to forfeit a turn if my word was listed.  I checked the Scabble dictionary following his next turn and ... he was right ... it was not a word.

Yes, that also was brought up, but notice it was scheduled for the first Saturday of the month.  That would have been the week after Natalee went missing.

Johan, I believe this photo of Joran dancing was taken in March 2005 at CnC & the pic was posted on the website that existed early in this case.  Website was taken down, eventually.

You are correct.  It was not on the Sunday night.

This was the famous picture that we all thought he was wearing boots but I think we determined that they were sneakers.
