January 8th, 1935 On this day, a King was born !

Lee even went so far as to say "This is a day for our family to show solidarity."

Uhhhh...I thought it was a day to remember Caylee.

1100 people were present, according to NG just now.
I about fell off my chair laughing when he talked about family solidarity!  Um ... no one's been under a rock here Lee ... we knew that ... we've seen how they've banded together since day 31!

What bugged me was that right before saying that he started to say "Today is the day to remember...today is the day to pay tribute....

Remember CAYLEE !!!!!  Pay tribute TO CAYLEE !!!!!!  I had to fill in what was left out...couldn't he find it in himself to say her name??? or was his speech all about someone else ??

Yes!  It was as if he couldn't say Caylee's name.  That was soooo odd!

And it seems Lee is the only one in the family not wearing Caylee's button.  I am like others wondering what that was about.

Man....it's so good to have you back Wyks !!!

That whole C..M..A business was about as creepy  as it gets....again, he just can't seem to say CAYLEE !!! or was his speech......

We will never be able to make a woman want her child. But we as a society could make a safe haven for those children in that situation. Let not one more child die from lack of wanting... We could call it the Caylee House.

No, they were talking about it on her site, I guess she was holding a sign.
Didn't she say one of her kids sang a song for Caylee?  Was that part of the service?

I think they all have some of Caylee's ashes in a piece of jewelry.......it's offered when choosing a vessel for your loved ones ashes.
George's mention of the "Caylee locket" made me think of it. When our family was making arrangements for my dad's cremation, we were shown many different types of jewelry for men and women that allow you to carry their ashes on your person.

That would make sense of the comments about jewelry and the jewlery for Caylee Cindy was having George pickup a few weeks ago. I think that is a good possiblity sense it seemed important for Cindy to mention her jewelry. Also now they use the ashes and make a diamond like gem or something like that. It was on the news a few months ago.

Yes she did say one of her kids sang a song for Caylee, but I don't recall a kid on stage singing a song.

Not easy for some people ... but ... Lee ... he had his laptop in front of him ... I'm presuming he was reading from it or at least referencing notes he'd typed?

i don't know if it possible or not ............KC had bozo's computer w/internet......church that big you know they are wired up....hell they could have been chatting...dammit

If he had his laptop in front of him then Casey was watching from her cell on Jose's laptop.

Reasonable doubt.

It was just said on tv that there was a blogger at the memorial today who was asked to leave.  Wonder who it was?

I just watched Lee and I have to say it was VERY creepy.  I think he was talking to KC and Caylee both. AND kissing his wrists--very sick.  I have never seen a brother/uncle show this kind of emotion.  A father yes but not the kind of emotion he put out there.  Sorry but this guy is creepy. JMO

RE: Lee

I agree with everyone.. the whole CMA thing was way creepy.. and I hope his ass gets arrested tomorrow.

I was somewhat doubtful too about the whole Lee is Caylee's dad thing.  Not anymore.  And if he isn't, he darn well could have been!

I knew it would be a circus, and it was. Lee talking in code, Cindy talking during the service and George chewing gum....they should all be ashamed of themselves. And to have a picture of Casey with Caylee....what was that? This poor little doe eyed girl's mother killed her, put duct tape over her mouth with a stupid heart sticker, stuffed her into a trash bag in the woods. And George wants us to write to Casey? Come on......do these people have even one heart between themselves? I doubt it. She deserved better.

Unfortunately, what the family lacks is the required dignity and decorum. They're like the stereotypical American tourists that people in other countries mock.

Okay ~ but if he's talking (cryptically to say the least) to LE ... why doesn't he just go have a sit down with them?  In fact, why don't they all go have a sit down with them ... and tell the truth about what they know?  Because I am FAR from convinced that LE knows everything that the Anthony's know.

Deenie, that is a brilliant thought!  That is exactly what I was struggling to say but I never hit on that word...lovelorn or lovesick.  That is just how Lee sounded, like someone who had lost the "love" of his life.  It is interesting that neither George or Cindy were so melodramatic.  Lee did seem as if he were pining away.

He also said that "to those whose knowledge" can bring about the "truth MY FAMILY DESERVES."  Goodness, it is Caylee who deserves justice here.  The truth is needed to bring justice for Caylee.

He sounded as an impassioned heartsick & determined lover .... a knight of Olden Times vowing to "carry her colors" on his shield forever as she is the wrongfully imprisioned damsel in distress in the Tower of London.

Nothing makes any sense.   Where was the profession of love and mornful grief for Caylee ?  Why not say Caylee's beautiful name out loud, oh ye brave pillar of strength ?

Ono, that was very well put. Describes exactly as he strikes me too. The way he held her hand while escorting KC to court and back always seemed more boyfriend-like than brotherly.

Thank you Scatty.  I had forgotten about that scene.

Video of Lee

At approximate marker 6:15

Finally, for those of us who have the knowledge and the means to facilitate the answers that my family deserves, I ask that you fill your heart with compassion and truth and I ask that you allow your conscience to speak for you when your mind cannot comprehend the right words to say.
Hmmmm, shouldnt it be "for those of you"  by saying "us" it compasses him too.

I may not have gotten it transcribed correctly Sad

Hadn't thought about that ... but since Jose is allowed to take his laptop into jail ... that probably is how they are able to correspond ..

Afternoon monkeys, JSM didn't get to watch much of the memorial service and I'm sure everyone has already commented on what I am about to say so please forgive me for posting it again.

WTH was up with Lee? He couldn't even say Caylee, he said CMA. Was he code talking to KC? Also I had an argument with my friend about George's new locket. I told her it had ashes in it, she said I was lying. Does anyone think that is what he was talking about?

I just got home from the doctor so I haven't had time to read back, but I will try.

Thanks Monkeys.
