Lee even went so far as to say "This is a day for our family to show solidarity."

Uhhhh...I thought it was a day to remember Caylee. 

1100 people were present, according to NG just now.

I about fell off my chair laughing when he talked about family solidarity!  Um ... no one's been under a rock here Lee ... we knew that ... we've seen how they've banded together since day 31! 

What bugged me was that right before saying that he started to say "Today is the day to remember...today is the day to pay tribute....

Remember CAYLEE !!!!!  Pay tribute TO CAYLEE !!!!!!  I had to fill in what was left out...couldn't he find it in himself to say her name??? or was his speech all about someone else ??

Yes!  It was as if he couldn't say Caylee's name.  That was soooo odd! 

And it seems Lee is the only one in the family not wearing Caylee's button.  I am like others wondering what that was about.

Thanks Sea!  Lee's attorney is supposed to be on "Issues" in a couple of minutes with that Jane Velez whatever person.  She hopes to get the answers about CMA that Lee used.

My  guess is if a laptop was on that podium and Lee was reading from it and Jose had his laptop with him then both were equipped with a camera and Ms.KC DID get to watch the service.  Cindy won again in that instance.

But you know we didn't factor in speaker to a crowd of 1100 people when you are not used to it.  You know you sit and wait for your turn, do you know what youre going to say........wait for it........wait for it.......boom, its your turn, Now talk!!!!

Not easy for some people ... but ... Lee ... he had his laptop in front of him ... I'm presuming he was reading from it or at least referencing notes he'd typed? 

If he had his laptop in front of him then Casey was watching from her cell on Jose's laptop.

I couldn't get the video from the link to play past the first few seconds. I see RG and LP. Is that the Gail St. John? Is that also the crying KC-fan guy minus the sunglasses? And could that be Anthony-stalker JW bending over? But no, she says she was at the memorial and her daughter sang a song for Caylee. So am I close?

OMG, you guys! I leave for 6 hours (hey, wanna hear how we handle jail house visits in my state?) and I'll never catch up!

Does anyone have a transcript of Lee's speech? In a nutshell ...er..banana peel..I think Lee was talking about/to Caylee, right up until the part where he started talking about telling the truth "if your heart wants to and your brain won't let you"...I think that part was for the Evil Bitch Who Sits in Jail.

As for his demeanor, before he spoke (this I figured out after he spoke) he was scared...apprehensive. Remember, he doesn't seem to need to be in front of the camera like his mom does. During his speech, I heard an uncle talking about his precious little niece. And the promise he said he'd keep? I think he may have been referring to a promise he made to Caylee, to take care of her, to always be her "best uncle", to protect her. And then came the part about "telling the truth".

I choose to believe the above because to believe otherwise, I would have to think that Lee thinks more of his slore sister than the niece the slore murdered. And I just can't believe that.

Oh, and as for the rest of the service? "Cindy Anthony and her Sad Songs Tour- Coming Soon to a Holiday Inn near you!". Disgusting! cindy...bleh...I don't have the words (printable) or the time to voice my disgust.

Oh, and I think CMA was referring to Caylee. I have 13 nieces and nephews... and I do not call one of them by their given name. It's a rule, the kid has to be nicked by age 2!
