So does anyone have any idea's about what kind of dvd's, tapes they would have seized at the scene that night?  I mean why seize them unless they are illegal or could it have been video of Haleigh? And if these other people are listed on the original report as witnesses does this mean they were present when the police showed up?

Also there is only one set of child's footprints that were noted, if there were others you'd think that would be in the report as well.  I still would like a comparison of Misty's footprints next to Haleighs.  I know it sounds silly, but you never know.

It also scares the crap out of me that she supposedly wondered so far on foot alone at night.

I think about my lil siter who was born in 92. She is very good with children she has 3 nieces and a nephew. One of the babies being my own. But if she had to do it full time she would go crazy. She is to involved with myspace and going out with friends and stuff. I couldn't imagine Misty giving these children her full attention all day and half the night. And what 17 year old goes to bed around 10-10:30? Jeez when I was 17 I was wide awake and ready to go out or was already out roaming around.

Did y'all notice that Misty just turned 17 on December 16?  For some reason, that really creeps me out....

Disturbing but sexual consent is 16 in Florida, but where are her parents that a minor child is living with an adult man - for most parents this is a O HELL TO THE NO!

In some places here in Fla. the parents OH HELL TO THE NO translates into , yeah,whatever to the LE... Basically, at a certain age LE will not even step in to stop a 17 year old girl from making the biggest mistake of her life by hooking up and moving in with an adult man with child/children from the last girl that got mixed up with him... umm yes, I am bitter from my situation such as that... speaking of,my now 18 year old and her dead beat dad bf just showed up and they are fighting...feel the love on valentines day.. I shall return...       

P.S  I forgot to add, the family we have seen so far remind me of my daughters bf.. uggg

Ack, Searching, I'm so sorry you are in that situation.  Sometimes I wish we as parents could go back to the olden thing of pre-arranged marriages for our kids.  Cuz I could sure have chosen better for my sons at times.  lol  And to be honest, not sure any girl will be 'good enough' for my youngest 98% 'perfect' son.     (okies, I'm working on that bad attitude.. heh)  Oh how I wish tho that our kids wouldn't even think of getting hooked up with anyone until they are about 35 yrs. old.      

We can dream right???

I think if someone did come in, I agree it would be someone the family knows...........stranger abductions are from a home are more rare although they do happen, it's usually someone the family know. I know about Polly K, Elizabeth S etc., but those are the exception to the rule when it comes to taking someone from their home.

This story is why you should be very careful about who you talk to  and what you reveil when you do talk, even just having a general conversation with a co- worker could be a mistake, you dont ever know who they might repeat things to, who they know or who else might overhear what you say, especially if it involves your kids and their where-a-bouts...

So true, but at work we share so much just chatting with other parents about whatever is going on in our kid's lives.

I wonder when LE is going to give info about the results of the polygraph test~any idea?
