SATSUMA, Fla. - Search teams with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office are searching deep in the woods in a secluded area of Satsuma for any sign of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings.

Nearly 60 vehicles associated with the search are at the location. The exact location has been kept private. The SWAT Team and a mounted patrol are also assisting in the search for the girl.

Texas based Equusearch has pulled out of the search for Haleigh, after volunteers planned to back their bags Monday evening.

Investigators say they are optimistic that they will find Haleigh alive, and they are frustrated that their searches so far have not turned up anything.

Ground teams will be called off after checking two different areas on Monday. Crews will remain on stand-by if they are needed.

Investigators say they have receieved more than 500 tips related to the case.

In this video Ronald speaks to his daughter while standing next to the sheriff during interview and also at the beginning notes that the back door may not have been locked by reporter, but there were no signs of forced entry.

I'm sure LE has had an advocate talk with Jr......you can get alot of info from a 4yr old as to who has been in the house after dad leaves, etc. I'm worried because LE is so tight lipped in this one, makes me wonder if they know far more than they are letting on and the fact they haven't released the trailer yet nor the polygraph results.

What if Misty went out and left the front door unlocked and perp who evidently watched the house and knew schedules came in front door and walked out back/side door so as not to be seen.  There's alot of conviction about the side/back door being locked not so much about the front.  And to me if this was an abduction - the perp knew their schedules, habits, and all about Haleigh.  It just seems to me that if LE has had the trailer for a week and found no evidence either of the deed or cover-up and has been in constant close contact with the 2 people of interest and family they would be putting more heat on them if they felt they were guilty at all.  We would be seeing them taken in for intensive questioning etc.  we see none of this by LE this therefore leads me to believe they believe them pretty much.  Thoughts?

I think the girlfriend is a bit on the wasted side and I mean that she's wasting her life away, either being on drugs or hanging onto a boyfriend she doesn't really love and a lifestyle she doesn't really want because she is clueless on how to provide for her own independent life. People without a lot of hope look like this girl. People who have been beaten down by depression look like this girl.  People who abuse their bodies with alcohol and/or drugs look like this girl. Battered women look like this girl.

If she was stealing little snatches of life away for herself, either by having an affair or hanging out at the local dive or hanging out with girlfriends, and that meant she occasionally left that child unsupervised, she may have thought that was an okay thing to do because she'd gotten away with it before. If little Haleigh was a good girl and stayed inside and was quiet and all was well before, maybe the night she disappeared, was another occasion where that child was neglected by the girlfriend.

And when the child turns up missing, that girlfriend knows the boyfriend will blame her. Maybe she HAD to leave a door unlocked because the boyfriend wouldn't let her have a key. I had a friend who barely escaped from an abusive husband and one of the controls he used was to not allow her to have a house key or any car keys.

Maybe the girlfriend had to leave the door jimmied open in some fashion and that child just got out and wandered away or maybe a perp was watching the trailer and walked right in and snatched the child although it just "feels" more likely to me that the child's disappearance had more to do with something the girlfriend did or did not do.

These people do not have to be dirt-poor poverty stricken to feel beaten down by "the system" and to feel the police are not their friends. That may account somewhat for their slumped posture and hopeless attitude. They are  used to being the losers and looked down on.

The girlfriend seems like she's hoping people will forget she had any connection to poor little Haleigh and she probably knows awhole lot more than she's told so far. It probably is her fault in some fashion that child disappeared.

On the 911 call as soon as it picks up you can hear in the background Ronald outside yell Haleigh's name, also he says to Misty "You let my daughter go out in the middle of the night!?"  He also says (?blank?) is full followed by I will get?,kick?,kill? you Misty. Than he rants on phone to 911 than later in the background you can hear him possibly outside talking to someone saying "my little girl is gone"  Someone asked for more detail on this 911 call last night and this is what I hear on it.

Good afternoon lovely monkeys! I'm not quite caught up on this case but just listened to the 911 tape. Seems the dad was blaming the girlfriend. She doesn't sound entirely "with-it" though that could be simply caused by fear and shock.

My thought is that someone was watching this little girl and family, likely a "friend" or casual aquaintance. They knew the dad's work schedule and knew that the girlfriend was not all that responsible. That's just a guess.

SATSUMA, FL -- The search for Haleigh Cummings has moved to a grassy area less than ten miles from the home from where she vanished one week ago.

More than sixty law enforcement officers from a number of different agencies are combing a field off Highway 17 south of Haleigh's home.

Locals tell First Coast News the investigators have been in that area for the past two days.

Haleigh Cummings, 5, disappeared sometime after her father's girlfriend put her to bed on the night of February 9.

Over the weekend, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office moved its mobile command center out of Haleigh's neighborhood as it shifted toward an investigation rather than a search.

And Haleigh's family, who have been camping out at separate locations near her home, came together for a vigil Saturday night.
