A back door usually, in what I have seen in double-wides, leads into the laundry room or kitchen. I would love to see a floor plan of this model for are they saying someone walked all the way to the opposite end of the mobile home to the BRs or what? boy I am confused?

OK just saw a pict taken of the corner of the door, from the back side... there is a small window there..== bath? kitchen?

Was the ramp for a disabled person? or an easy way to carry groceries in by the previous owners? Was the door modified for a scooter? I bet there are keys around> I hope they changed the locks when they moved in.

I heard the girlfriend in one of her first TV interviews call it the handicap ramp.

Something that is really not sitting right with me is the timing of the girlfriend supposedly getting up to use the restroom.  Awfully close to the time her boyfriend was supposed to be getting home, wasn't it?  Coincidence?  I think not.  I think she had left the house and was just getting in.   

I think this could account for her "evolving" story - she's trying to cover that fact up, even though she may not be directly involved in the alleged abduction.   

If Haleigh wasn't abducted, then it's possible that something else happened while the girlfriend was gone which led to Haleigh being harmed or worse.

That's my take on things......at this point anyway.

Reporter just mentioned on NG that there was a little girls footprint found when they took the canine dog from the back door thru the woods - that is new & in addition to today's earlier announcement that TES found "items of interest."

Did they say little girl or child??? was the footprint color coded pink??? How would they know if it was a girl or boy?

Murt Inserting Himself…AGAIN!


I am not a happy camper at all. I have just been advised that Murt has supposedly gone to Satsuma with the hoopty news van and a motor home. From what I was told, he did do the right thing with the $500 from the Mt. Dora bench money, as he said he is going to donate to TES for search efforts, but other than that WHY is he going up there? There is NO reason for him to be in Putnam County; nor is there reason for him to stick his nose into yet another missing child case.

I am asking everyone that reads here to start contacting the local media and Sheriff’s office up there and tell them about Murt and his history of inserting himself into cases and using the missing child as a bankroll. I do hope that once Josh Duckett sets his eyes on ol’ Murt that he tells him a thing or twenty and tells him to get his ass out of Dodge. You remember Josh, don’t ya Murt? The father that you LIED to that you were a US Marshall and that his son would be returned on January 12th? Freakin’ piece of crap that he is. Every time I think of how he toyed with that family’s emotions, I could just spit.

Please contact the press - contact local law enforcement. Contact national media if you have to, but Murt needs to GO HOME!!!

sometimes there is a dryer, washer in the hallway that leads from the main up and down hallway, if I am making sense. Could someone tell from the placement of required sewer vents on top of the roof to match the bath, washer/dryer and kitchen sink? I would guess there is a 2nd bath?

the father said he would sometimes wash his car back there. JVM on HLN said he had only lived there 4 mos. I think someone had a key or knew how to pick locks. Didn't the perp who buried that young girl alive pick the lock?  IMO letter A is the back door.

Are there alligators back by the river?

This is a double wide and the latest report is that everyone sleep in the same room (not in the same bed but on mattress on the floor).  A double wide would have at least 2 bedrooms and probably 3, so why was everyone sleeping in the same room?  If mattresses there this would not be an afraid of the dark thing, this is a permanent sleeping arrangement.

I don't know why in this case of course, but a number of years ago when my granddaughter was young, my son lived in a double wide mobile home and the master bedroom was at one end of the home, with other 3 bedrooms at the other end.  Even though my gd's bedroom was completely set up for her, he never felt comfortable even with a baby monitor system for her to be that far away from him when she slept, from the time she was born to when she was 4, so he put her bed in his bedroom. 

Maybe the same type thing in this situation ?   Just a protective sort of thing ?

A lot of families all sleep in the same room. It is very common - many of our tenants do it - personally, I think kids need their room.

I have bad feeling when I see the mother, she seems that he was really mad when the juror give him the custody of Haleigh....maybe she was so mad and wanted to punished the ex and the system

If that was the case though, wouldn't the father have told the the police in the 911 call that she might have been taken by the mother?  Instead his anger seems to be directed at the gf.

I think they should get a child psychologist specialized in trauma to interview Junior to see if he remembers hearing or seeing anything both before he went to bed & if he was awaken.   In addition to that I think they should do a drug test on him to see if it is possible that Misty gave him & his sister anything from cough syrup or God knows to keep them asleep so she could go out while the father was at work.   If he tests positive and they find Haleigh with the same finding it will match.   The reason I say this is, I find it very difficult to believe in such a small home that either Misty or Junior did not hear an intruder - its possible but they were in very close proximity of each other with bedroom doors reportedly open.

As soon as I heard this story I didnt suspect Misty of harming Haleigh directly but her inconsistencies has led me to believe that it is a possibility that she knew the window she had to go out for whatever reason leaving the children asleep.   If she did not have a key to the house it could explain why the door was left open with the cinder block/brick (which is it for certain?).    Now that she said she had visitors at 5 until 5:30-5:46 earlier that day, I have to wonder if she made plans to go out.

That seems logical to me too.  It's hard to picture a 17 year old who would be content to babysit two little ones from 3 pm to 3 am every day in an isolated trailer.  Also teens are known to enjoy staying up late . . .

Not saying she is directly involved but she may have gone out, leaving the kids alone.

The thing is, I can't imagine why else the stories of who was sleeping where have been inconsistent.   Changing stories seem to indicate an attempt to cover SOMETHING up, no matter how benign or irrelevant that something might seem to her.  Nothing is irrelevant in a case like this.

Yes, I figured.. I know I am being a smart arse,but these reporters need to make sure they stick to FACTS.. unless it was color coded pink for girl or blue for boy,they have NO way of knowing if it was a girl or boys... that is why we stay so confused,the reporters twist things for shock and awe..
